I get off work a day or two ago and just as I'm bout to go to sleep, I go on wattpad, look at my stories and my god I see this!!!

EXCUUUUUUSE ME?! 500- 500 THOUSAND READS?!!!! 🤯🤯🤯

Bruuuh, this is literally CRAZY! I literally cannot believe this story got HALF A MILLION - yes! HALF a MILLION READS!!! I'm so shook yet so proud of how far this story has come. When I was a young, 16-year-old depressed girl who wanted to write about her humongous crush on one of the most popular, influential anime characters out there, I never dreamed my feelings for him would get the attention of SO. MANY. FREAKIN. PEOPLE 🤣🤣🤣

Like y'all can't be serious! Is my crush on Naruto that freaking amazing and special to y'all?!!! Are my daydreams that INTERESTING?!! 🤣

Literally since this story came out, all anyone who reads this book talks about is how much they love the story and NaruNia and Nia herself, who is loosely based off ME! Ik I may not update as much as I used to like in '17/'18 but I promise y'all I love this book with all my heart. There's not a day that goes by where I don't think of it or where I'm not trying to plan the next chapter of any sort.

I'm always looking for creative things to do for the ship whether it be fanart, edits, videos, or just pretty much anything. I love being friends with my readers and a lot of you have been really good people to talk to. Y'all always make my day better.

I just want you guys to know that I do care about y'all and this fanfic. I truly do wanna finish it even though I'm probably getting a little too old to still be writing fanfic but idc, I absolutely love it and will keep doing it till I just can't anymore.

Yes, I feel sad that some people outgrew the story over the years but that's to be expected. I mean a lot of them were teenagers/young adults like me in 2016-19 and we're all grown now tryna make something out of our lives. The good news is that there's always gonna be a new group of teens/young adults who'll come across this story, if they know and watch Naruto, and will love it just as much as the previous generation did.

But ya, guys... I know I may seem like I'm popular Or wattpad famous on here, but the truth is... my glory days have passed by me. A lot of people moved on, though they still do love NaruNia, but just a lot of them are adults now... even in my statistics it says most of my readers are adults as opposed to teens and we know adults don't have the free time teenagers are blessed with.

I still have fans ofc but in my third book, the reads have gone down drastically despite me trying to update regularly. I don't really know why or if I'm doing something wrong or if it really is simply the fact that people are older now and don't really got time for their teenage passions.

But it's okay bc I started writing this story for myself and ig I should finish the story for myself too, so Ik my fantasies of Naruto have come to a conclusion and that I've written all that I needed regarding my feelings for him lol maybe then I can probably get over him properly but idk it's hard y'all... he's dreamy 😩😩😩😩 My dream man 🥺🥺❤️❤️❤️

But I eventually gotta move on with my life too, find a real man, get married, have a family... but deep down I'll always love Naruto bc of the way his character made me feel whilst in the midst of my severe depression as a teen. I'll never forget 😭

Anyway guys, I just wanted to say thank you to anyone whose read and loved this book throughout its history of being on wattpad. On June 9th, it'll be five years since this first book ended.
