Epilouge Pt. 2

(A/N) Finally, after two years, this book gets the ending it really deserves

Two Years Later...

Michael, Steven, Connie, and Arya were in the center of Little Homeworld.

"I can't believe it's been two years...Feels like only yesterday, I smiled as my brother was kicked out of the house with my two working hands" Michael said, taking a sip of Mt. Dew

"Yeah, why did you never look for him after he left?" Steven asked.

"School." Mike replied between chugs before crushing the can on his forehead.

"You didn't even think to call?" Connie asked, bewildered.

"You want me to call? Fine!" Mike replied, dialing his brother's old number.

After a few rings, he puts it on speakerphone, as the phone says out of its tiny speaker "Your call has been forwarded to an automated voice messaging system. To leave a messag-"

He hung up. He wasn't in the mood to leave a message. He threw his soda can away and sat on the Warp pad.

A faint whirr was heard when it got quiet.

"Peridot? Is that you?" Amethyst asked. "It sounds like one of your machines."

"I told you, Amethyst, I got rid of most of them a year ago!" Peridot replied, blushing.

"I'm just messin' with ya, Peri-bean! It's cute watching you get all flustered!" Amethyst replied, making Peridot blush a bit more. "But still, what's that humming?"

"Up there!" Arya shouted, pointing at something, lowering on the warp pad. It looked like some big, metal half-vehicle, half war machine. It almost resembled a pod. Legs extended from the bottom, as Mike jumped out of the way as it landed.

Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl summoned their weapons as the machine stayed completely still. A hatch on the top opened. "Am I interrupting a plot-important moment?" a familiar voice asked as an even more familiar face popped out.

"Rob?" Mike asked.

He climbed down from the machine, hugging his brother. He was soon enveloped by hugs from his friends and family (Or at least, what was left of it.)

"Where were you?" Steven asked, shouting.

"I studied under Uncle Thomas, I learned his craft and even perfected it." Robert replied.

"So now you're a super-nerd?" Mike teased.

"More like the next Tony Stark" Robert replied.

"Is that...confidence?" Arya asked. "You rarely seemed to show it."

"Thanks, sis." Robert replied. "Lapis, I don't think you're gonna like this, but I got a girlfriend, too."

As he said this, a cute ginger girl with glasses climbed out as well. "H-Hi..." she stammered. He wrapped his arm around her.

"What's her name?" Arya asked.

"I'm...Audrey..." she said timidly. "Are you his sister?"

"I am." she said confidently, they went away from the group to talk.

Lapis, ironically, seemed happy for her ex, rather than livid he found someone better for him.

"So when are you coming around for swordplay training?" Pearl asked him. "Oh, it's been ages!"

"I'm not. Check this out." he said. As he slapped his new watch, it transformed into something similar to the Mega Buster.

"It's my new invention." Robert said, smiling. "I call it the R-Buster. Shoots any kind of ammo I need. And it never runs out or overheats."

"What are your plans?" Garnet asked.

"I actually found an apartment for sale, and I figured I would live there with Audrey for a while." Robert replied.

"You're staying in Beach City?!" Steven asked. "That's great!"

"I heard you ran away for a while, what happened?" Robert asked.

"Well, I figured that I'd rather stay here. Believe it or not, the school Connie moved to is in a pretty crime-ridden town."

"Which is why I moved back to Beach City." Connie added.

"Well, looks like we can finally get started getting our lives together." Robert replied.

Steven's phone rang. It was Spinel!

"Spinel, Finally decided to call." Steven said.

"Real funny, Finally found out how to get this stupid thing working" she replied. "Anyway, Homeworld keeps having rumors about Aquamarine breaking out, or someone trying to bring back or become the um... that dark realm lady."

Steven looked around at Robert's machine. "I think we'll be fine."

"You sure?" Spinel asked. "Last time, I heard Mike lost his parents."

"Yeah, We've got a lot more heavy artillery." Steven replied. "After all, they're just rumors."

"Okay...Well, be careful..." Spinel replied as she hung up.

After a while, everyone went to their homes, as the clear full moon illuminated Beach City with a sky full of stars.
