"Miss Arya, are you okay?" Peridot asked. Arya was startled by Peridot.

"A Peridot? I've never seen any of those before!" she said, eyes twinkling as she got an eyeful of the Crystal Gems. "You all look so cool!"

"But what were you talking about earlier? My Human Clone machine? How do you know?" asked Peridot, worried. "'Cuz I'm Psychic!" Arya said, giving jazz hands near her forehead, trying not to laugh at Peridot's confusion.

"It means she can read minds, use telepathy, and predict the future." Kalinka explained.

"Can she now?" Garnet asked, "And who are you?"

"I'm Kalinka, their mother" Kalinka said.

"So does that mean you're Russian?" Connie asked.

"My father was, and he named me after a song he liked, I'll explain the rest later."Kalinka answered. "Arya, Can you tell me the condition of the machine?"

Arya closed her eyes for a few seconds, then turned solemn. "I'm sorry...It's destroyed..." she said. Peridot looked down.

"Hey, psychic girl? What was heading for the Barn?" Amethyst asked.

"Some sort of dark plant. It corrupted Peridot's machine and made a clone of Robert," Arya explained..

Just then, it looked like Pearl was having a seizure.

Before anyone could assist Pearl, Robert's cursed sword came out of her gem on its own and ejected itself through the hatch used for unruly or unwanted guests, making a beeline for Earth, leaving Pearl slightly dazed and confused.

Michael returned from the bathroom. "What's going on here?" he asked

"Robert's old sword is going to his doppelganger!" Arya shouted.

"Doppelganger?!" Michael shouted in disbelief. "We gotta get to him ASAP!"

Steven, hearing the whole thing, without hesitation, punches the hyperdrive function, hoping they would be there in time.

(Meanwhile, At the Barn...)

The smoke cleared to reveal what appeared to be a clone of Robert, only with, lizard-like skin, silvery-blue cat-like eyes, and a grin that resembled the Cheshire Cat. It had three fingers on each hand, a nearly tattered and ruined red t-shirt, baggy, yet somehow tattered jeans, and shoes that looked off-brand.

"R-Robert?" Lapis gasped in amazement and horror. The clone somehow turned its head completely around like an owl to face Lapis, who was behind the clone, as soon as she said it.

The clone looked disinterested in Lapis and turned its whole body to face Robert. It held its arm up and careening out of the sky came Robert's old sword. The doppelganger caught the sword and swung it a few times.

"I thought Edward said only Light blood can wield it " Lapis said.

"It thinks the doppelganger's me!" Robert said

"Doppelganger? I prefer the term 'Upgrade" it said in an overconfident tone.

Robert went into the barn and came out with his shield. The doppelganger pulled its own out of its back pocket.

"Just who do you think you are?" Bismuth asked angrily. She charged at the doppelganger.

The doppelganger caught Bismuth's blow.

"Perhaps you should wait for an answer before attacking, Bismess," it said before kicking Bismuth back a good distance.

"But anyway, since you asked, my name is Robert Tyler Dark, and now, my Light-loving doppelganger, we cannot allow you to interfere with our goals, As punishment, you must perish, fiend!" he said, swinging his sword in a taunting manner.

Robert stayed quiet and waited for an attack. They strafed each other, like lions in a pit fight.

"You're only worth as much as you bring to the world, and you bring nothing!" Robert Dark said.

There began a fire in Robert's eyes.

"Calling yourself a swordsman only degrades the term!" Robert Dark taunted.

The fire in Robert Light's eyes grew brighter.

"Your friends will only betray you, they don't really care about you, because they know you're weak! You're soft! Unworthy! Retarded! Pathetic!" he said.

Robert Light's anger got the best of him and he charged at the clone. The clone blocked the blow and counterattacked. While Robert blocked the sword with his shield, but the blow knocked him back.

Robert Light realized he did no real damage to the dark doppelganger.

"Get lost! You have no place in this world or any other!" Robert Dark yelled.

Robert Light realized his dark doppelganger's strategy: Insult the opponent so they charge, then counterattack, and repeat. Not this time! He thought as he stood in a defensive stance.

Robert Dark gave a disgusted look. "Did you not hear me? LEAVE!" he yelled. Robert Light smirked,

"I guess Lighteners need to learn the hard way..." Robert Dark sneered. Both Roberts channeled electricity into their swords. "Are you deaf?" Robert Dark asked in anger. "Oh, that's right, you're autistic!"

Robert Light didn't budge. He wanted to, but he didn't. Robert Dark charged at Robert Light. Robert readied for a counterattack, but instead of slashing at Robert Light, he unleashed a shockwave of electricity. Robert Light absorbed the blow, but rather than feeling any pain or weakness, Robert Light gained power.

"You just made things a whole lot worse, me!" Robert Light said as he ran around Robert Dark faster than he could react, slashing at him with great speed and strength. Robert Dark fell to his knees. "Spare me! Spare my darkness! Let me live, Lightner!" he said.

"Why bother? If I do, you won't see the error of your ways, you won't change! You'll just get right back up and attack!" Robert Light said before impaling Robert Dark.

"D-Damn the Light!" Robert Dark choked before evaporating. Robert's old sword repealed the dark energy that once possessed it and gave its familiar blue glow.

"Are you sure you want to trust that thing, Robert?" Bismuth asked.

"It was the reason you couldn't go to space," Lapis added.

"Yes," Robert replied. "I didn't want to endanger the others." He picked up his old sword and held it high. The blade glowed brighter than ever before. "I'm still worthy!" he said as he felt Light energy flow through him. Robert knew he was in control of the blade.

Just then, the Roaming eye landed. Robert smiled.
