Alright, so my story of my mental health struggles is that I've been struggling with depression and anxiety for as long as I can remember. I tried to take my own life in 2019 for reasons I still don't really talk about. During 2020, things took a turn for the worst because of my living situation and the people I was living with, so I attempted to take my life on 3 separate occasions. The final time I attempted it was by shooting myself, but the bullet never fired and the clicking sound still haunts my dreams to this day. Citizen Soldier dropped their song I'm Not Okay later that night, and that was my wake-up call to try and turn things around. I moved to Maine at the end of 2020, and now I've been in the best mental state I've been in for years. I still struggle, but I don't let it control me like it used to anymore. And that's the basics of my story xD
