Sara's POV

I woke up next day with a terrible backache; I was lying on a sofa and it was very uncomfortable!

I opened my eyes and I saw Ava cooking breakfast. Wait: Was I at Ava's home?

-Hey good morning!- she said.
-Hey... What happened? Why am I here?- I asked.

-You don't remember?-.
And in that moment all what happened the day before came to my mind.

-Oh yeah...- I said sighing.
How did Rip reacted about what I did to him? Was he still alive?

-I want to see him- I said.
-Are you sure? I mean you almost killed him and...-.

-That's why I want to meet him. I need to see if he's alive or not-.
And that's what we did: later that morning we went to the Waverider.

Everyone was happy to see me again but I couldn't focus on anything but Rip.
-How...?-.

-He's awake. He's in his room- Nate said.

I went there alone, I needed to stay alone with him.

-Rip...- I said entering the room.
He looked at me: his expression showed sadness and surprise.
-Are... Are you ok?- I asked and he nodded.

-I... I'm sorry for yesterday, I lost control and... I just can't accept the idea that you're not mine anymore- he said approaching.

-Rip you... You said that I was nothing for you! After all that time together you said I was nothing!- I yelled.

-I know but I have an explanation for what I did: I was drunk. I drank a lot during the mission and...-.

I sighed and I could feel the tears falling on my cheeks.
-I... I'm sorry- he said.

I didn't know how it happened but after a few seconds I was kissing him.

God I missed him so much! But when I felt his hands on my waist pulling me closer to him something blocked me.

Ava...

That word appeared in my mind and shocked me.

-Are you ok?- Rip asked when I broke the kiss.

-Yes, I mean... I think- I said.
-If it is too quick for you...- he said.
-No no it's... It's Ava we...-.
-You stay together?- Rip asked and I nodded.

He sighed and walked away from me. He was angry, I could see that.

-You.... You're a....- he started and he slap my face.

I was angry too now, very angry.
-Why did you hit me?! What did you expect? You thought that I wouldn't have find someone after you?!-.

-We're in love!- Rip yelled -You're mine!-.

-I'm not of anyone property! I'm sorry but this is a goodbye!- I yelled and walked away from him, from his room, from everything.

I was on the sofa, crying when Laurel entered the house.

-What happened?!- she said worried and sat near to me.

-I.... Why is everything wrong in my life?!-.
She sighed.

-You know I think the same sometimes. My life has been a mess since when you died on my Earth. But I waited and now here I am, living a new life. You just have to wait and everything will be good- she said.

I smiled.
For the first time I felt like she was my real sister.

Ava's POV

-Are you out of mind?!- I yelled at Rip.
How could he do that?! Hitting Sara only because she stay with me?
-She's not your Rip!-.

-She loves me, I know! She's just confused!-.
-Well I'm sure that she'll never want to see you again after this!- I yelled and then left.

I was so angry with him!
When I arrived at home I found Sara waiting for me.

She was smiling and that made me feel happy.
-I tried to cook dinner- she said -I was trying to not think about what happened today-.

-How did you spent your afternoon?- I asked.

-With Laurel, we... we're becoming friends. She's not like my Laurel but she's nice-.

I smiled and kissed her.
In that moment I realized how happy I was with her.
