I was worried about Peter. When I saw Alan sitting in the kitchen of our house, talking to Steven and Jess as if he was an old friend, I almost stripped down and dropped to the ground right then and there. I was pretty sure I actually let out a small whimper, almost on instinct at the sight of him. I wanted so badly to just rip his throat out right then and there, but I knew that I couldn't do that, because I couldn't intentionally kill someone. I was about to at least punch him though, before steven punched him instead.
Honestly, I was pretty surprised that Steven stopped at only punching Alan once. It had taken Steven a long time to watch all of the videos that Alan had sent took, because he was so bothered by them, but he kept forcing himself to finish watching them anyway, because he wanted to understand what I had gone through, and wanted a better idea of how to help me.
I knew that Steven was pissed about what Peter had done to me, and all it took to make him angry enough at Alan to punch him was me informing him that Alan just worked for Peter. So, when Steven stopped at a single punch, even with his fist hurting, it was a bit surprising.
Alan showing up and talking to Steven and Jess about the paper they wrote about the other celestials and I worried me. I was worried that this was a sign that Peter was interested in the others, and wanted to come take them, and me again, and torture us all like they did with me the first time. Naturally, I knew that it would be really hard, and stupid, for Peter to try and successfully kidnap April, Ben, Ian, and I, considering the fact that the four of us were all very strong celestials with superpowers, and living in a household full of highly protective people, but that didn't stop me from worrying.
I didn't want the others to go through the same things I went through, and I honestly didn't think that I could face any of it again. Peter had torn me apart, and I had to stitch myself back together without having the slightest clue as to how I was supposed to do that. Peter put me through hell, and I have no clue how I got out alive, but I wasn't about to do it again, and I most certainly wasn't about to let the others do it either.
I waited anxiously for Peter to come bursting into the house one day, or come steal me while I slept, but that never happened. No one other than Ian came to the house, and there were absolutely no signs of any of us being in any danger. This meant that I was able to relax a little bit, and get back to living an almost normal life.

Since Ty had joined mine and Mike's relationship, and given up on hiding the fact that he was back from the dead, he and Mike had gone on a date one night. I would later get to go on a date with each of them separately too, but while they were gone, I found myself hanging out with Ian. He and I hadn't ever really hung out without everyone else there, so this was a new occurrence, but not unwelcome.
Ian and I just kind of hung out in the living room, watching TV and making the occasional comment about something that we saw, or laughing at something that we thought was funny. It turned out that Ian was actually really fun to hang out with. I always knew that he was nice, and cool, but I didn't know that he and I would get along so well without everyone else there with us. But we were actually getting along really well.
In fact, when Ty and Mike finally came back home, Ian and I were laughing really hard at something that was on the TV, and didn't notice the two of them walk in at first.
"It looks like two had fun." Ty said, causing me to look over at him, and find one of his eyebrows raised in amusement.
"Hey. How was the date?" I asked Ty and Mike, standing up to give each of them a hug, glad that they were back, and that they both looked happy.
"It was really good. I'm glad we did it." Ty told me, taking the seat on the couch that was next to Ian.
"I am too. It was a lot of fun." Mike told me, taking my seat on the couch next to Ty. I rolled my eyes a little bit in amusement, but sat down on Mike's lap, draping my feet across Ty's lap, and leaning against the armrest that was behind me.
The four of us just sat there and watched TV until it got late, and we all wanted to go to sleep. Despite me offering him a place to sleep at the house Ian left to go home, giving me a hug when I walked him to the door to say goodbye. After that, Ty, Mike, and I went to bed, and we all slept soundly.

Life was pretty uneventful for a while. After Alan had stopped by the house, and I kicked him out, he never came back, and Peter never came for me again. Even when I went out in public, no one so much as looked at me funny. No more than usual at least.
People seemed to still be on the fence about me. I knew that it was unlikely for a lot of people to have read Steven and Jess' paper, but I knew that pretty much everybody had seen the trial that I went on to determine whether or not I was a danger to society, and I knew for sure that everyone knew about me being Sunshine, and everything that Light Force had done, because there's no way that anyone could not know about all of that.
The public knew that I was a celestial, and there was absolutely no way for them to deny my existence. My glowing eyes and golden scars made it very clear that I was definitely not human, so walking around in public meant that I got some funny, frightened, or just mildly unsure looks from people, but I had quickly learned how to ignore them.
Despite the fact that nothing had happened since Alan had come to our house, Steven still didn't feel comfortable with the idea of letting me out of the house alone. So, I always ended up taking someone with me whenever I went out. I knew that Steven would have prefered that he be the one to go out with me, but I also knew that he was a busy man who enjoyed staying home and doing just about any form of science he possibly could.
In truth, I would have prefered that Steven be the one to go with me too. I felt safe around him, and I knew that if anything happened to me, he would do absolutely everything in his power to keep me safe, even if it meant putting himself at risk. I would protect Steven too if something happened, because that's just how we were, and we kept one another safe, because we loved each other.
However, because I knew that Steven had better things to do than spend an afternoon doing absolutely nothing of value with me, I kind of just took whoever was around whenever I wanted to go to a store, or walk around or whatever. I usually tried to take Ty and/or Mike with me, but when they were busy, I took whoever else was willing to come with me.
So that's how I ended up going to the mall with Ian. He showed up at our house like he usually did, but he looked way different this time. His face looked thinner, he was clearly wearing makeup, his hair was longer and went down to his shoulders, he was wearing a nice pair of jean shorts, and a pretty, yellow, billowing tank top. The most noticeable difference, however, was that Ian appeared to have breasts, and his waist was thinner, giving his body more of an hourglass shape.
"Whoa." I said, surprised to see Ian looking so different when I answered the door.
"I'm sorry. Are you weirded out?" Ian asked, and I couldn't tell if he was making a joke, genuinely concerned, offended, or a mixture of all three.
"No, not at all, you look great, I just wasn't expecting you to look so different." I responded, turning to head into the house, knowing that Ian was following me.
"Yeah, I just, I felt like a girl today." Ian explained.
"Ok. Do you want me to use female specific pronouns for you?"
"Um...yeah. If you wouldn't mind, that would be great."
"Alright. Do you want me to use a different name for you too?"
"...No. Ian's good."
"Sounds good. I was about to go to the mall and just look around and see if I could find anything that I want. Wanna come with me?"
"Sure." With that, Ian and I left to walk to the mall after letting Steven know that we were leaving.
Hanging out with Ian at the mall was pretty fun. She was perfectly ok with going to whatever random stores I wanted to go look in, despite the fact that I didn't buy anything in any of them, and I was more than happy to go into the stores that she wanted to go into as well. We hung out, and got lunch in the food court when we both got hungry, and it was actually a really nice day. I enjoyed spending more and more time with Ian, because she was just always really nice, and considerate and it was great.
I had been really mad at Ian when I had first met her. I thought that here just randomly showing up while we were battling Aristatch and almost getting herself killed was a very stupid and irresponsible choice. I was pissed at Ian for that stunt that she pulled, and I guess I was a little reluctant to really get to know her after that, but when I did eventually spend time with her, I found that she was really enjoyable.
When Ian and I were done at the mall, we went and got some ice cream, and then began to make our way back to the house. When we got there, we found everyone else sitting in the living room, curled up together either on the couch or on the floor, wrapping in lots of blankets, and drinking mugs of hot chocolate while watching a movie. Ian and I both stood in the doorway, and I smiled happily at the sight of my family all happy together.
Steven was the first one to notice Ian and I, and when he did, he got up and began shuffling to the kitchen to make us some hot chocolate too. I followed Steven into the kitchen while Ian took hi seat on the couch next to Warren. Steven put a pot on the stove, and began to boil some milk for Ian and I. I pulled myself up so that I was sitting on the counter beside the stove to watch Steven stir the milk.
"How was your day?" Steven asked, looking up to smile at me.
"It was good. We got some ice cream and lunch, and it was pretty fun. How was your day?" I asked in response, smiling back at Steven.
"It was good. Jess and I were building some robots, because we got bored, and I felt like putting my engineering skills to good use."
"That sounds like fun."
"It was." There was a briefe pause of silence where Steven just stirred the milk, but then he looked up at me seriously before speaking again. "There's something I want to tell you."
"What is it?" I was getting a little worried. Steven's suddenly serious composure caused me to think that maybe something bad had happened, or was about to happen. I was thinking through all the possibilities of what Steven could have wanted to tell me, and I couldn't get my mind off of Peter, and Alan coming to our house.
I was thinking about what would have happened if Steven told me that Peter was making an effort to get me and the others again. Did he send Steven another video? Did he threaten Steven somehow? Was he coming back for me? Were we going to be attacked soon? My mind was going wild with all the horrible possibilities in just the few seconds of silenced that past while I waited for Steven to tell me his news.
"Jess and I have been dating for a little while." Steven told me, looking up at me as if he was afraid of what my reaction might be. I let out a sigh of relief, glad to find out that Steven's news was actually good, and not something horrible.
"That's great, Dad. Are you guys happy?" I asked in response, smiling at Steven, causing him to smile warmly back at me.
"Yeah, we are. I think I took too long to ask her out though." Steven chuckled.
"Why's that?" I chuckled back.
"Because she makes me really happy. I mean, she made me happy before we started dating too, because she's just really cool, but I'm very happy being her boyfriend, and I could have had that sooner if I wasn't so stupid."
"Dad, I was hopelessly in love with Ty for pretty my entire life, and I did absolutely nothing about it until about two years ago, when Ty told me that he liked me. It took me about fifteen years to finally start dating the man I was head over heels in love with."
"And it took me about two years to start dating Jess."
"Like father father, like son." Steven smiled warmly up and me and began to pour the milk into two seperate mugs, and mix a bunch of chocolate powder into them. Before giving me one of the hot chocolates, and taking the other one to Ian, Steven pulled me into a tight hug, and kissed the top of my head.
"Please don't tell anyone. We're not ready for everyone to know yet." Steven told me, his voice slightly muffled by my head.
"No problem." I replied.
"I'm glad you're ok with this."
"I have no reason to not be."
