~With Michael~

Well, I'm gonna be in a Deathmatch against Rina Yamashita, someone I'm close to, in Pro Wrestling Freedoms.

She's someone I look up to and Rina was such a sweetheart when we first met, and she knew I was new in Japan and offered to let me room with her until I found my footing.

We still talk today, as I consider her my role model, even if she's much shorter than me, at 5' 5".

And when I told her my story and who I actually was, Rina never saw me any differently and became my big sister in a sense. She even told me that if I ever needed someone to talk to, she'd always have my back.

When I got to the building, I got off, grabbed my bag, and started walking up to the locker room. I was met by Masashi Takeda, Jun Kasai, Masaya Takahashi, Ryuji Ito, and many others.

I shook hands with them and said hello, but when Rina came up we hugged a bit and started walking through the match.

Rina, she was so excited about our match, even an energy drink couldn't stack up to her.

~1 Hour Later~

When Rina made her entrance, I was ready to go as my music played, and at the 0:32 mark, I entered to a cheer and a round of applause.

However, I ignored the fans and just kept walking towards the ring, but on the way there, I noticed a familiar face in the crowd, and there was this short blonde Japanese girl.

She looked cute, I'm not gonna lie, but I had to focus on the match that's coming up shortly.

I went inside the ring, and the announcer introduced me...

Announcer: Soshite kanojo no taisen aite wa, nyūjājī-shū matawan shusshin no katame no kenka-ya, MAIKU KYANDIDO! ! ! (And her opponent, wrestling out of Matawan, New Jersey, the One Eyed Brawler, MIKE CANDIDO!!!)

As soon as my name was announced, I posed and took off my vest, but not my eyepatch, as I was ready for the match.

I looked at Rina and she looked enthusiastic about me wrestling her, so it was gonna be a fun one tonight, anyway.

By the time the ref signalled the bell ringer, the bell rang and the match was underway with the crowd clapping in a rather before the started chanting...

Crowd (chanting): KYANDIDO! KYANDIDO! KYANDIDO! KYANDIDO! KYANDIDO! KYANDIDO!

Rina and I shook hands as we were now challenging each other who would have the better punch. She punched first and it was a good one, then I punched her mouth, and then, just as it was coming close, Rina punched my mouth, and just like that, my lip was busted open.

I could feel the blood coming down from my bottom lip, and to be honest, it felt good. I've been wanting a fight, now I'm getting one.

At her last punch after mine, I pulled out a staple gun and stapled her head!

Everyone didn't expect that because this is a Deathmatch, not your regular No DQ match! Raquel was grunting in pain as she didn't expect this. I then took her off her feet and stapled her crotch after I seductively crawled to her.

I got off of her and moved her to a corner and I splashed her. I ran to the ropes and forearmed her before I threw Rina out of the corner and looked for a dropkick, but she swatted it away like a fly!

I felt pain in my ribs and I think she bruised them, but I didn't care. I wanted to give a match everyone would remember for years to come.

She picked me up and was going to chop me, but I ducked and chopped her instead. I ran to the ropes and gave her a dropkick, which knocked her down, but not out cold.

I covered her and she kicked out at 2.

While she was down, I decided to go out of the ring and grab some toys. I pulled out a table, a chair, an all black sledgehammer, a barbed wire chair, and a black bag filled with something that's very deadly and I'm not talking about thumbtacks, caltrops, and broken glass. I'm talking about that's worse than that.

I set up the barbed wire chair in the corner and was beating Rina's with a regular chair and she was screaming in pain, but I can tell by her eyes, she was enjoying this!

While I was taking a breather, which was a mistake on my part, she dropkicked me into the barbed wire chair in the corner back first!

It felt so bad that I literally started bleeding on my lower back. I didn't scream, I just stayed calm and moved carefully to remove the barbed wire barbs from my back.

When Yamashita was coming towards me, I ran and splashed her again and taking down punches on her. I was thrown off and she was in the vicinity of being in the direction of the barbed wire chair. I dropkicked her and then she went back first onto the chair!

While preoccupied with that, I went under the ring again and grabbed 8 cinder blocks and set them up before bringing out a dozen of light tubes.

I threw them in the ring and slid under the bottom rope. I set up the blocks and took the black bag, unzipped it, and out came onto the cinderblocks...

I put them on the blocks and I guess I took too long because she was out of the chair and she dropkicked me, hitting the back of my head out onto the floor!

I think I have a slight concussion, but I'm sure I'll be fine.

Rina went out of the ring and set me up near the crowd, taking a light tube, and smashing it on my head!

Just before it could get any worse, she took the broken part of the light tube, stuck it into my fucking head and moving it around a bit before breaking it on my head!

It was so painful that I felt blood going down my face! I think she left a piece of that glass from the tube in my head!

I soon fought back by taking another light tube, smashing it on her head and giving her a cut from the broken piece of the tube as well.

Me: Payback's a bitch!

That made everyone cheer and laugh as I slammed another light tube on her head, but no broken piece in her head this time. As I was planning another spot, I saw that blood was pouring down her face.

I threw her back into the ring and covered her, but she kicked out at 2. I wasn't surprised, but it made me feel excited to beat her up.

Then, I couldn't believe what Rina said to me.

Rina: 怒鳴りつけてよ。 (Go off on me.)

Me: 本気ですか？ (Are you sure?)

Rina: 間違いない。頑張って。 (I'm sure. Go for it.)

I then did as I kept punching Rina's face and I picked her up and I looked to end it with my Bloody Bombshell off the top rope, but she countered by doing a sleeper hold on me, which didn't work because I countered with a rollup, but she kicked out of that at 2.

I moved over to where the cinderblocks are, and when she ran, I gave her a belly to belly overhead Suplex onto the truss plates and light tubes on the blocks!

I rolled her off the blocks and plates before covering her...

Ref: ONE! TWO! THR—

YAMASHITA KICKED OUT AT 2.9! What the fuck!

I couldn't believe that after I sent her into the plates, she still powered out at the last millisecond! Rina isn't a normal human being!

I went to the top rope and was about to perform my Tiger Driver '99, but she countered, and hit my chest with a light tube!

It hurt me so much that she gave me a choke Powerbomb onto the TRUSS PLATES, ON THE FUCKING CINDERBLOCKS!

She covered me...

Crowd: ONE! TWO! THR—

But I kicked out, and Rina was pissed that I was able to get my shoulder up in time!

She then decided to pick me up for her finisher again, but this time she wanted me to take advantage of this situation.

While she held me in the air, she secretly talked to me while "showing off her strength".

Rina: ブラッディ爆弾。 (Bloody Bombshell.)

Me: 何？ (What?)

Rina: フィニッシャーを 2 回実行します。1 回目は何も着地せず、2 回目はライト チューブに着地します。 (Do your finisher two times, I land back first on nothing the first time, the second on light tubes.)

That's when I countered and Irish whipped her into the corner, and picked her up as I went to the top rope, and performed the Bloody Bombshell, but nothing for her to land on but the mat. I covered her but she kicked out at 2 1/2!

That was the signal for me to do the move again, but this time make her land back first onto the light tubes.

I tried, but she picked me up and sent ME onto the plates!

They were stuck in my back and they were much worse that barbed wire and glass panes! She covered me, but this time I kicked out at 2.9999999, right before the ref counted three!

Rina looked shocked at the kick out I just pulled as I rolled off the blocks and kept trying to get up.

As she grabbed another light tube, it gave me an opening to set up the more light tubes in the middle of the ring and try to put Rina away. I kicked her away and performed a Tiger Driver '99, but then I threw her into the corner, I climbed to the top rope, picked her up, and performed the Bloody Bombshell onto the tubes!

Before the ref hit the three count, I felt Rina giving me a little scratch on my back, letting me know that we had a great match.

Ref: ONE! TWO! THREE!

I got off of Rina and kneeled down in pain and blood coming down my face, but I saw that the same blonde Japanese girl looked happy and smiling at me for winning the match.

I don't know what's making her smile at me, but I'd like to find out about her sometime.

Announcer: 12-Bu 32-byō keika, kono shiai no shōsha wa MAIKU KYANDIDO! ! ! Here is your winner of this match after 12 minutes and 32 seconds, MIKE CANDIDO!!!

Once my arm was raised, I helped up Rina who smiled and once I helped her up, we hugged it out and went to the back, looking at the girl who was applauding and cheering along with the fans.

In the back, I was getting help with my cuts and whatnot, and Rina, she was not so different, but she was still enthusiastic about how our match went.

Rina: やあ、マイケルちゃん、素晴らしい試合だったよ。 (Hey, Michael-chan, great match out there.)

Me: ありがとう。ところで、リナちゃん、質問があるんだけど。 (Thanks. Say, Rina-chan, I have a question for you.)

Rina: どうぞ。 (Go ahead.)

Me: 今夜、群衆の中に背の低い金髪の女の子を見ましたか? (Did you see a short and blonde girl in the crowd tonight?)

Rina: ああ、彼女？ (Oh, her?)

Me: ええ。もしかして彼女を知ってるんですか？ (Yeah. You know her by any chance?)

Rina: 彼女はスターダムのあずみちゃんという名前です。あずみちゃんはいつかあなたと話をしたい、もしかしたら会話をしたいと言っていると理沙ちゃんが私に話しました。 (She's named Azumi-chan, from Stardom. Risa-chan told me that Azumi-chan wanted to talk to you sometime and maybe have a conversation with you.)

Me: ええ、まあ、興味はないです。 (Yeah, well, I'm not interested.)

Rina: なぜダメなの？マイケルちゃん、君の友達は私だけなんだから、もっと友達を作ったほうがいいよ。 (Why not? I'm the only friend you have, Michael-chan, and you need to start making more of them.)

Me: リナちゃん、私はいつも一人ぼっちだったのに、どうして知らない人と友達になれると思うの？ (I was always alone, Rina-chan. What makes you think that I'll be friends with someone I don't know?)

Rina: いいか、彼女にチャンスを与えれば、すべては良くなる。私のためにそうしてくれよ、いいか？ (Listen, if you give her a chance, it'll make everything better. Just do it for me, okay?)

Me: いや、しないよ。私は子供の頃からずっと一人ぼっちだった。彼女のような女の子が、それを打破するのを手伝ってくれるわけがない。リナちゃん、好きなだけ夢を見続けて。でもごめんね、トゥーツ。それは実現しないよ。 (No, I won't. I was alone when I was a child, and I was alone ever since. There's no way that a girl like her is gonna help me break that. Keep dreaming all you want, Rina-chan, but sorry, toots. It ain't gonna happen.)

I grabbed my stuff after getting fixed up a bit, and I walked out, but I saw that the blonde girl was standing outside, next to my motorcycle.

I don't let anybody go near my motorcycle, so there's no way I was gonna let her near it.

Blonde Girl: いい乗り心地でした。 (Nice ride.)

I just simply glared at her, as it got her to move out of the way, got onto my bike, and I rode back to my apartment.

~With Azumi~

That must be Michael Candido, the boy I was cheering for earlier.

I knew I made a huge mistake coming to the show and he was that rude, but I can tell that beneath that rudeness, he's a really good person.

I want to know what happened to him and why he wears that eyepatch all the time.

Well, once I told Rina what happened, she was shocked and I thought it was my fault for being at the show, but she told me it wasn't.

I did feel a little bit better about it, but I still want to know more about Michael and who he really is.
