One direction was the first ever boyband I had heard. I know about 32 songs of them before I got into BSB and then other boybands through BSB.
One Direction, often shortened to 1D, are an English-Irish pop boyband formed in London, England in 2010. The group was composed of Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Mallik, Liam Payne, Niall Horan and Harry Styles.

YouTube sometimes gives awesome recommendations. Back in 2017, one day, I was listening to songs and Drag me Down was shown in the recommendations. Back then I didn't know what a boyband was. I liked Drah me Down. Then I heard Kiss me and then What makes you beautiful. I loved this boyband idea so much cuz of the  harmony. So I used to listen to 1D a lot. Until BSB, I knew only 1D so I had to only research on them so I knew a lot about them in very little time.

What I love about 1D:
I love their closeness. They are very close. I also love how they have tried to include variety in their songs and are currently into different genres as solo.
