Move-in day to Luna's apartment went from being just a Liv, Layla, and Luna thing to practically a full-fledged family event. Peter, Maria, Asher, and Jordan had arrived to help her get settled in, right at the same time as Luis, and his two kids approached the door, looking to extend a helping hand.

But the three girls had gladly accepted all of the help they could receive quickly realizing that none of them had any idea on how to put together any of the furniture that Luna needed or even have the strength to carry up all of the boxes of clothes and other items from her house that she packed up to bring up the elevator and into her place. Though the girls did manage to get a good portion of her stuff inside, there was still a lot that she needed to get set up.

Quick to take a break once she noticed everyone setting up the guest bedroom, she wandered out to the living room area, noticing her younger brother, Junior, clinging to Jordan's leg, and Aurora, on his back with her arms wrapped around his neck clearly amused by whatever he was rambling on about.

"Tell them I live in a house on the beach," Jordan quickly sputtered out once he noticed her. "They don't believe me."

"Because you can't live in a house on the beach," Aurora hummed. "What happens when the water goes...whoosh!" She made a motion with her hand. "Then your house is underwater."

"He lives in a sandcastle, Lulu!" Junior exclaimed.

"Is that what he told you, guys?" Luna questioned. "He lives in a sandcastle on the beach?"

"Yup!" the two children chimed in unison.

She shoved his shoulder, gentle enough not to make him drop her sister who was still clinging onto his back. "Lying's a sin."

"You sin all of the time," Jordan sent her a slightly suggestive smile.

"Papi says sinning is bad," Aurora cut in. "Don't do that, Luna."

"Hey, lovebirds!" Maria called out, interrupting their conversation. "I must be mistaken but this is Luna's apartment, right?" Their heads nodded at the same time. "So why are we doing all of the work?"

"Let's go, Jordan," Luna took him by the hand.

Her apartment wasn't small but it also wasn't huge. So, the number of people in the place was sort of overwhelming as she tried to maneuver her way through. Her mother, Layla, and Olivia had been in her bedroom helping set up everything, Peter, Luis, and Asher who was only with them to keep the peace, were in the guest bedroom putting together pieces of furniture, while Luna and Jordan ventured over to the kitchen area with the two little kids following after them. They were putting dishes away in the designated areas, organizing her cabinets, and pantry, while her siblings were running circles around the kitchen island.

"Looks like we're all done here," Luna motioned to the apartment.

"I think you mean, thank you," Asher huffed. "We've been moving your stuff all day."

"By choice," she corrected. "I asked Layla and Liv for help. All of you showed up on my doorstep."

Layla hummed in agreement. "True. You didn't have to come."

"Then our work here is done," Maria exhaled. She strode over to her daughter with Peter following behind her and gave her a kiss on the forehead. "Love you."

She gave both her parents kisses on the cheeks. "Love you, guys, too."

"We should get going, too," Luis spoke up, ushering his kids to his side. Aurora climbed off of Jordan's back once again and Junior, who had been glued to his older sister's leg, reluctantly removed himself and went to his dad's side. "Bye, Luna."

She sent him a wave and a fake smile. "See you."

Asher was next to leave seeing as he had no reason to stay. Then after another hour or so of chatting Layla and Olivia were next to leave the residence, informing Luna that they would see her soon.

"Want me to stay the night?" Jordan offered.

"You don't have to. Tomorrow's the first day of school and the beach house is closer to G.A.U. then my place is. You should probably go home."

He took ahold of her hands, bringing them to his lips and placing a soft kiss on the back. "Tomorrow's also your first day of school. I think I'd be the worst boyfriend in the world if I wasn't prioritizing you or making sure you got to school okay."

"I think I'm capable of driving to school. I've been doing it since sophomore year," she giggled. "I'll be fine. Promise."

Knowing that spending his night at the beach house was probably the right choice, Jordan reluctantly walked over to the front door with his girlfriend right behind him. He stopped at the door, hands resting on her hips, and pressed a kiss to her lips. "Promise you'll be okay?"

"You're starting to sound like a parent and less like my boyfriend."

"Because I'd be a great dad," he proudly stated.

She didn't bother acknowledging his comment about being a father, instead, she attempted to push him out of the door as fast as she could. "Get out of here. I'm tired!"

He peeked his head out from the door. "I love you."

"I love you, too!"

The only beneficial thing about having spent part of her summer at Coastal was that Luna knew where most of the buildings were located. It was only her first day and the only classes she had scheduled for the day were Art History and a literature class.

Her pre-law classes didn't start until later on in the week which felt like a weight off of her shoulders for the first day. Though the only bad part about being one of the only few people who ended up at Coastal from their friend group was that she had to go through the whole 'making friends' thing all over again as if it was elementary school.

"Well, would you look at that?" JJ slid into the seat beside Luna. "It truly is a small world."

"JJ?" Her face screwed up in detest. "You're taking Art History?"

"I've been known to dabble in the arts," he proudly stated. "I'm a creative guy."

"This is my thing."

JJ chuckled to himself, waving her off as the professor entered the room, and the entire room quieted down. After a quick introduction and a run-through of the syllabus, their professor had assigned them a small project to keep them occupied throughout the first hour.

The class wasn't as big as Luna originally thought it would be. Only 20 students or so, easy enough for the professor to walk around and inspect the drawings that they had been working on. Luna had been eyeing JJ's sketch, scrunching her face up at the scribbles he had been messily doing on the piece of paper.

"Ah..."

"JJ, sir," the blonde greeted their professor as he approached them.

"Impressive, inspiring." Then his eyes roamed Luna's piece of work. "That's...safe."

"Safe?" Luna repeated as he walked away. She glared at the gloating blonde, elbowing him in the ribs.

"I'm only taking this class to fulfill my credit requirements," JJ admitted with a laugh. "Not because I like art. Hey, aren't you the artist, moon?"

"It'd be a shame if you mysteriously broke a leg right before football practice, JJ," Luna gritted her teeth. "Next class...sit elsewhere."

Stuffing her sketchbook into her bag as class came to an end, she couldn't help but feel frustrated at the words from her professor. Art came naturally to her, her artistic abilities were something that she never doubted, and she knew it wasn't something she would ever try to achieve as a career. But she didn't think her painting or sketches were safe. Art was her form of expression and how she communicated her feelings, not once in her life had she been told her paintings were safe.

But she brushed off those thoughts, making her way over to the English building that had been located across campus, and sat down for the almost three-hour-long lecture literature class that she was assigned.

Groggily exiting the lecture hall and heading toward one of many student parking lots, Luna made her way out to her car, ending her first official day as a college student.

It was late once Luna arrived at her apartment, choosing to stop at her parent's house first because they were dying to know all about her first day of school. It was a bit anticlimatic as she divulged the details about her day, but they didn't mind because they enjoyed seeing their daughter's face, especially with how empty the house had been after she had moved.

But as soon as she stepped into her apartment, she was met with the aroma of food from one of her favorite takeout spots. Entering further into the residence, Jordan was tiredly sprawled out on the couch with a pillow on his lap and his mouth open as he slept and the television had been playing in the background.

She quietly changed out of her day clothes before making her way out to the living room and practically smothering her boyfriend with her body. He jumped in his spot, being woken up by the weight on top of his body before realizing that his girlfriend had come home.

"Mmm, hey sweetheart."

"Not that I mind, but what are you doing here?" She asked.

"Wanted to see you after your first day at school," he tiredly answered. "Is it a crime to miss my girl?"

"You're not too tired?"

"Not for you," he said. "Tell me everything."

She settled in between his legs with her back pressed against his chest once he sat up. His arms moved around her waist and his fingers were clasped together, holding her in place.

"Today kind of sucked," she bluntly stated. "JJ's in my Art History class. And according to my professor, his sketch was inspiring and impressive. Mine was...safe! Art's not even his thing and he managed to be better than me at that."

"That's JJ for you," Jordan hummed. "He doesn't try and he gets an A+. But when you try—"

"You fail," she cut him off with a scoff. "I wish I could be as carefree as him."

"Don't we all," Jordan laughed. "How were your other classes or practice?"

"Didn't have practice today and my literature class was excruciatingly long. What about you? How was your day?"

"Helped Liv with her sponsor issue and her boyfriend issues."

"Her and Spencer were having issues?"

"They did," he confirmed. "But like the good brother I am, I helped. Then I came over here and fell asleep on your couch."

Luna took a look around at her surroundings and perked up, giving her boyfriend a sheepish look. "You know what I just realized?"

"What's that?" He questioned.

"I have my own place," she chuckled. "No parents, no semi-cousins, no JJ or Spencer, and no younger siblings. Just...us."

"And we have yet to take advantage of all this space," Jordan caught on.

"You thinkin' what I'm thinkin'?"

Jordan nodded with a smirk, sliding one arm under her knees and the other around her back. He lifted her with ease as he stood to his feet and headed to her bedroom. A shriek left her mouth as he gently tossed her onto the bed.

"You're going to be the death of me, Jordan Baker!"
