Tears fell in both our eyes. It hurt me to see her hurt. "I'm so sorry..." It was all I could say. It broke my heart to see her broken. Then there was something that broke my heart more. She cried. She cried her heart out. I wanted to help, but I felt like she wouldn't let me help her.

I decided to try anyways. I slowly went to her and gently and slowly hugged her. Luckily she didn't pull away. She just cried on my chest. I held her in my arms, as I gently smoothed her back.

Nothing else needed to be said. I wish I was able to help more. All I could do was hug her. Which was enough hopefully. My body felt weak, my throat ached as I choke back all the pain and tears.

She kept crying as she finally spoke up, sniffing, "I forgive you." She looked up at me with her lifeless eyes that had no more light. Because I drained it out of her. Which drained my light as well. I felt lifeless as well. "I miss you..." She chocked on tears while speaking. "I can't live without you... I feel nothing without you. I know you didn't mean to hurt me. I-I still love you..." More tears fell from her face.

I was surprised by her words.

How did she just... forgive like that? I hurt her. I don't even deserve her forgiveness...

Gently, I wiped away her tears. Which she wiped my few tears away as well.

I smiled a small, sad smile, "I-I love you too. I'm so sorry for what I did. I really am. You were right. I really didn't mean to yell and get mad at you. When I realized what I had done, I felt horrible. I can't believe I hurt you..."

"I don't deserve you. You deserve to be with someone who can't hurt you. Not with a monster..." I sighed a bit. She doesn't deserve someone who hurts her. I'm afraid of hurting her again. I want her safe. Safe, away from me.
