Chapter 3

I huffed as I walked around the empty room, making sure I had everything, which I did. I walked to the door as I looked around the room one last time. I sighed as I shut the door, then checking to make sure it was locked. I turned back to B-project as I nodded. "Alright I'm all packed and everything is the way I left it," I said, as walking entered the air. "Iris Teramitus?" a voice spoke as I looked towards the main building of the hotel, seeing the manager walking ahead. I sighed as I dangled my key to show him, then handed it to him. "Thank you for letting me stay here. Sorry if I caused you some trouble" I said, as the manager shook his head. "No worries. I'm glad we can help you out for a while. Any luck with a job?" he asked, curious about the topic. I shook my head as I spoke. "No luck. But I do have a place that will be more permanent to go" I said, as the manager nodded. "That's wonderful news. Hopefully, they can help you out with getting on your feet" he said, as a hand was placed on my shoulder. I looked up to see Haruhi and Yuzuki as they joined into the conversation. "She's going to be fine. She'll be living with our group until she's ready to live on her own" Haruhi said, as he held out his hand. "Haruhi Teramitsu," he said as he shook the manager's hand. Yuzuki stuck his hand out next. "Yuzuki Teramitsu, we're Iris's older brothers" he explained. The manager gratefully shook their hands. "Oh, it's a pleasure to meet you. I'll be happy to tell you that the housekeeper took really good care of your sister. I hope she'll be happy to be back under your roof" he said, as he turned back to me. "Well, I don't want to keep your group waiting any longer. Take care Iris and good luck" he said as he waved to me and walked back into the building. I went to tell the boys I was ready when another voice yelled. "Iris," it said, as I turned to see my housekeeper running towards me. "I'm sorry to hear that you had to leave. Are you going to be ok?" she asked as I waved her apology off. "Don't worry. I'm going to live with my brother's and their friends. I'll be fine," I said, as she hugged me. "Oh that's excellent news," she said, as she turned to the boys. "I'm guessing you're her brothers?" she asked as Haruhi nodded. "Yeah. She'll be living with us until she can live on her own. Your friend will be fine" he said, with a smile. I looked at the ground in embarrassment. I looked at the housekeeper as I spoke. "I'm sorry, he's like that," I said, as she laughed. "It's fine. I'm used to it" she said, as she looked at me. "Take care alright?" she asked as I nodded. "I will, thank you for looking out for me," I said, as she gave me a hug. "Your welcome. Hopefully, I can see you in the future. And not homeless" she joked as we both laughed. I sighed as I looked back at the boys. "You ready? We got to head it now" Haruhi said as I nodded. "Yep," I said, as I hugged my housekeeper once again, then followed my brothers into the bus.

The bus was a little packed, with all the boys but still empty seats. Haruhi and Yuzuki sat with the rest of their band and Thrives. I looked amongst the boys for an empty seat as a flirty tone spoke. "You can sit with me, once Goushi moves," Kento said, as he turned to his bandmate. Goushi didn't speak but did send daggers as to wanting to kill. Tsubasa sighed as she spoke. "Come sit with me, keep me company when the boys fall asleep," she said, as I nodded. I sighed as I took the seat next to her and placed a small bag underneath my legs. I sighed as the driver looked at Tsubasa, as she nodded to let him know that we were ready. The bus pulled from my room as we started to take off, pulling out of the hotel. I watched the hotel disappear in silence as emotions changed quickly. It was a mix of sadness and happiness. I was happy to be back under the same roof as the boys. But I was also sad that I left my friend behind. I studied out the window in silence as the boys talked in back. I focused on the outside as pink hair jumped out in front of me. "Are you excited to move in, Iris?" Yuuta asked, which made me jump out of my seat. "Yeah. It's been a while since I had roommates" I said, a little shyly to calm myself. I heard laughter as Haruhi spoke. "Planning on giving her a heart attack Yuuta?" The bus was full of laughter, even from Tsubasa and I. "Yeah. Welcome Iris, you housewarming gift is a heart attack" Mikado joked as the bus echoed in laughter again. I chuckled with the boys as I looked down as to hide my face. I sighed as I spoke, more to myself than anyone else. "It's been a while since I had a laugh," I said, as I looked up.

"Yeah. It looks good on you, you should laugh more often" Kento said, as I looked down, hiding my embarrassment. The bus fell silent as Haruhi spoke. "Can you not flirt with my sister, especially in front of me?" he asked, as Yuzuki spoke. "I agree," he said, as I raised my hand. "Make that three," I said, as I went back to being silent again. Haruhi cheered as he spoke. "YAY! SHE AGREES WITH SOMETHING!" he yelled as the bus uproared in laughter once more. I lowered my face to hide the embarrassment as I heard Tsubasa laugh. I lied back in my seat as I sighed. "You're lucky I can't think of a comeback right now" I yelled towards him. Haruhi cheered a second time as he spoke. "Yay, I win," he said, as I shook my head. "He's such a child," I said, as I looked ahead of us, seeing the cars as they passed. The bus went back to its original noise as the boys spoke with one another. I sighed as I leaned back in my seat and studied the road once more. It's been a while since I was in on the road, or in a moving vehicle altogether. I heard the boys chuckle once more as I turned to Tsubasa. "Are they always like this?" I asked as she nodded. "Yeah. They'll fall asleep in an hour, then we'll have silence" she said, as I looked ahead again.

I sighed as I shook my head. "Silence is actually the last thing I want. I lived in silence for too long. Except for the hotel I stayed before that last one. There was a bunch of partiers around me." I said as I sighed. "It's been a while since I've actually gotten some sleep." Tsubasa sighed as she spoke. "Hopefully, you'll get some soon," she said, as I nodded. "Yeah, me too," I said, as the bus started to die down. "I also need to get a job eventually, but I want to try and get sleep before anything. Also make sure this is going to work" I said, low enough that only she could hear me. Tsubasa sighed as she spoke. "It'll work. If you can stand the craziness" she said, as I nodded. "Yeah. They seem to be like my brothers as well" I said, with a slight chuckle. I looked to see that we entered the highway already. I studied the road as I tuned into the boy's conversation. They continued to talk as some of the boys did their own things. I studied their voices as I tried to keep the laughter within my head like we were going to get separated again. I focused on the thought as I sighed. I shook my head as I got rid of that thought. I didn't want to leave my brothers again. I needed them more than ever at this point.

The bus was silent until the boys burst out in laughter again. This time, it didn't leave or die down. Tsubasa turned to look behind her as she spoke. "What are you talking about now?" she asked, as the boys sighed. "Just last weekend at camp," Hikaru said, as the boys chuckled. I sighed as I smiled at the laughter. Tsubasa chuckled as she spoke. "Did you boys tell Iris yet?" she asked as the boys shook their heads. I looked at her as I spoke. "Tell me what?" I asked as she laughed. "Ok, so last weekend we went to this swimming hole," she said, as she laughed. "And the sand was really wet underneath the water. The boys kept falling because of the sand" she laughed as I chuckled. "Was it an 'I should've been there a moment?'" I asked as Tsubasa nodded. "Yeah Iris, it got to the point where we had to figure out if it was sand or someone's foot," Akane said as I sighed. "Well it sounds like you boys had fun," I said, as the bus fell silent. "Next time, you'll have to come with us," Kento said, as he gave me a wink. I looked forward as I leaned into Tsubasa. "Does he always flirt with every girl he meets?" I asked as she nodded. "I'm trying to figure out if he's flirting with you or me," she said, confused herself. "I'm guessing since I made the comment, probably me," I said, as she looked at him. "Probably."

I looked ahead of us as the boys went to their laughter in the back.  I sighed as I put my head down in thought. "It's great that my brother's made a lot of friends," I said, as Tsubasa looked at me.  "Yeah. They get along with the other's a lot. They all seem to enjoy each other's company" she said, as I sighed. "Hey, do you ever worry when your out and the boys are at home?" I asked as she nodded. "All the time. But they're pretty good about not breaking it down. Sometimes I come to find them cleaning" she said, as I looked at her. "Really? How'd you get them to do that?" I asked as she chuckled. "I don't know either. But it's also a way they get along" she said, with a sigh.  I nodded as I kept to myself.  I looked in front of where we were going again as I studied the pathway we were traveling. I sighed as I sank a little in my seat, feeling relaxed by the bus.  I tuned into the boys conversating, catching that they were talking about some type of tv show. I lied a little in my chair as I looked out the window, watching the sky as we rode along.  I studied how the blue sky and the white clouds mixed together, making one of the clouds thinner than ever.  I felt the cool breeze of the wind through the window as it relaxed me.

I closed my eyes as I started to relax when something poked me in the forehead.  I opened my eyes to find Yuuta as he studied me. "Tired Iris?" he asked as I sighed. "No. Well, a little bit" I said, as Haruhi spoke up. "She's probably going to fall asleep soon. She always does" he said, as the boys laughed. "Do you stalk your sister Haruhi?" Goushi asked in a grumpy tone. Haruhi shook his head as he spoke. "No, she usually falls asleep when we go on the road," he said, as I sighed. "It's not that. I didn't sleep last night" I said, while I yawned. I looked out the window as I studied the sky again. I watched as the clouds shape together as I slowly closed my eyes and fell asleep.
