ASHLEY

The rest of the wedding was a complete blast, even though it was also a complete fake.

We danced most of the night and talked with our relatives. My sister and brother, both whom I haven't seen in years, also made it to the wedding.

I spent the remaining time with them, catching up.

As the night ended, I said goodbye to everyone I loved and we were off to the airport for our... honeymoon.

I had absolutely no clue as to where it would be.

"Where are we going?" I ask Isaac.

"You don't know?" he asks back.

I shake my head and he smirks.

"You'll just have to wait and see."

I roll my eyes and shrug. It's not like I cared that much.

We finally got in our seats. As soon as the plane took off, I looked at our destination from the little TV screen in front of me: Bora Bora, French Polynesia. WOW! THAT PLACE IS BEAUTIFUl!

I turned to Isaac.

"I know where we're going." I sang like a 5-year old acting like a know-it-all.

"Oh yeah? Where?" he asked.

"Bora Bora, French Polynesia." I stick my tongue out.

"Put that tongue back into its place before I do it myself." he whispered, filling my stomach with butterflies.

"Yeah, whatever. I'm going to sleep."

"Ashley? Come on, wake up..." I felt nudging on my shoulder.

"5 more minutes, daddy." I replied.

"Woah there babe, didn't know that was my new nickname."

I slowly opened my eyes to see Isaac smirking at me.

"What do you want, Jack?"

"Sweetheart, did you forget my name?"

"No, it's because you're a complete jackass. Such a shame. Jack suits you better."

Isaac leaned closer towards me, "don't ever say other men's name when you're with me."

"I..I..."

"Excuse me, sir? Are you ordering or not?" the hostess interrupted. Thank god for that, she saved me from the stuttering.

Isaac looked at me, expectantly. It is then I realized, he had a tray of food in front of him. I couldn't be bothered to see a menu. So, I decided on ordering the same meal as Isaac, a chicken burger with fries on the side.

"You're such a fat-ass, Ash." Isaac laughed at me.

"I ordered what you ordered. That makes you a fat-ass."

"Don't worry, I like your ass."

"Oh really?" I smirked.

He scooted closer to me, "really."

"Too bad it's not yours." I whispered.

"That's not what the ring on your finger says." he smiled, smugly.

"That's not what the bimbo at your house last week said, either."

"Look, Ashl---"

"I don't want to hear it, Isaac. I was foolish to believe we could actually make this work."

"But that's not--"

"But nothing, Isaac. How long till we arrive?"

"3 hours." he replied, quietly.

"3 hours?! How long is this whole trip?!" I asked, astonished.

"10 hours."

"I can't believe I've been stuck here -with you- for 7 hours, and counting."

"I bet you enjoyed every minute." he winked.

"If you shut up, I will." I replied before turning my back and snuggling into my blanket.
