I sat in the room. Alone in my thoughts. Silence was everywhere. No one made a sound or tried to get me out of the room. Does everyone believe that I turned my back? My head rest on my knees. The tears keep falling off my face.

A knock was at my door. A mans soft voice can be heard on the other side, "Lucy... please come out..." I heard him say. Natsu. I hands go to raise myself off the ground but they had no strength to do so. My body feels numb. A knock comes again, "Luce... please...open the door..." Natsu's voice was shaking. I feel my body weak and cold. Forcing itself to raise and open the door slightly. "Natsu... I'm a monster..." my voice comes out shaky. The door opens more and Natsu's arm were around my body.

"You're not a monster. Come on... I wanna talk..." he picks me up and walks over to the bed. Natsu sets me down and sits next to me.
My mouth goes to open, as if to speak to the man by my side. My courage is low and tears threaten from my eyes. Fist form, and I get up from the bed and stand in front of Natsu.

Courage finally gathers and my voice slowly comes out, "Natsu... I-i have to tell you something..." I admit.

"Okay... what's up?" He replies in a calm manner with his hands in his lap.

"I...I am what people call 'Slayer'..."

"You mean The most wanted assassin in the world?" He questions.

My eyes fall to the floor. I hear a soft chuckle from the man. It's echoes in my ears and my head tilts up.

"I already knew that..." His voice comes out softly.

Goosebumps go across my body, muscles tighten, lips no longer able to move. The man stands and I look him in the eyes. There is a soft smile on his face.

"I hate to admit it Lucy.. but I knew exactly who you were from the beginning," he tilts his head to the side, "how could I forget the woman who stole my heart? Well before she tried to kill me" he giggles to himself.

My mouth opens but nothing came out. A loss for words. But out of the many words I couldn't say, two words snake their way out of my mouth, "I'm sorry..." I apologize to Natsu. When I looked up once again, his face in confusion.

"I'm sorry, Natsu... I did have intentions to kill you when I first got here cause I failed the first time... I failed and I was going to kill you... I started to get hesitant because I met the real you and not the person people make you to be... " I was standing and bowing to the salmon haired man in front of me. A chuckle escapes Natsu's lips.

"Listen Lucy, Lisannas death wasn't your fault. You were protecting yourself. Don't blame yourself because of it." I heard his foot steps move closer, only to find myself in his arms. Tears fell from my eyes and onto his blazer.

"Luce!" Natsu calls after me, "dinner is ready!!" I slowly close the book in front of me and sit back in the chair.

How can I be so calm when I killed someone I was close to?
Everything will be okay, right?
What will happen next?
Do I stay here, or do I leave because I have failed?

Those questions replayed in my head over in over since the innocent with Lisanna. I never really have had this problem till now, I'm not even sure how I am doing fine right now.

"Lucy!" I hear Natsu once more, I sigh and head down stairs.

"Hey, are you okay? You didn't come down the first time." Natsu's asks immediately when I see him.

"Natsu, I'll be okay just still shocked is all..." I sigh and my eyes fall to the floor once again.

He grabs my hand and leads me to the dining hall. Once in, he pulls out a chair for me. I hesitate then sit knowing I wasn't gunna get out of it. "Luce, there's something I want to ask you..." Natsu's voice was quiet as he sat down next to me. My mind went blank. I didn't know what he wanted to ask, nor did I know that he is staring at me this whole time.

"Luce hello? Earth to Lucy" he waves a hand in front of my face. I blink a few times then turn to him.

"I'm sorry... I zoned out", I apologize quickly. My hands move to my plate and I start eating. The food is delicious and brings all kinds of flavors into my mouth. I'm not for certain what will happen next, but I do know that it has the chance of being crazy now...

After dinner, Natsu walks me to the balcony that's connected to the dinning hall. The moon was full and was high in the sky. The Stars made the moon seem brighter, giving the sky a natural glow. My face must be in awe, because I hear Natsu giggle a bit.

"You must love the stars" He says calmly

"I've always loved them since I was a kid. They amaze me every time.." I smile and gaze into the sky.

"Lucy..." I hear Natsu's voice come out. I turn to him. He is down on one knee....

"Lucy... I know we haven't known one another long and I know we aren't in the best situation but i... will... you marry me?" His voice came out softly and shakey.

My eyes wide and my mouth open partly.
"Natsu... I... I can't..."

"What why??" He questions

"You told me I had to fall in love with you... and if I did, I'd marry you but... I don't know how I feel..."

"Then think on it-"

Before he could finish, I ran to my room and locked the door behind me. Quickly finding my belongings and packing them up.

I'm sorry Natsu...

I grab what I have and escape out my balcony
