I wake up in my bed with a jolt. I guess me getting myself all worked up about coming out last night caused me to have a nightmare. But it all felt so, so real. I decide against telling my parents that I am gay. Maybe I should hold off a bit longer.

Tonight I am going to go out. I need to get away from all that is going through my head. I would like to say I have no demons that I am constantly fighting off. But believe me, I fight them constantly.

When I walk out of my room my parents aren't home. They said they went to the store. I glance over at the clock and read that is is 7 in the afternoon. Damn, how long did I sleep?
The microwave begins to make a very strange sound. Like a weird beeping. I press end and it turns off. Weird.

I decide to go ahead and get ready to go out. I shower, do my hair, and then put on some nice clothes. I am going to a gay bar so hopefully I will meet someone that will make me confident enough to come out. Hopefully one day I will find the right guy. But until then, gay bars on Saturday nights will have to do.

I leave my parents a note saying I went over to Brittney's house. They like Brittney so they won't worry about me. I hop in my car and drive to the club. I don't know why but I have a good feeling about tonight. I feel like tonight will go my way. I park. When I step out of the car I hear someone call my name. Weird. I look around and no one is in sight. I shrug it off and walk into the club. Let's hope this goes well.
