"That was fucked up!"

It had been Reece who had screamed that at no one in particular. The rest of us looked down at the computer screen in horror.

"What the hell was that?" Vic yelled at Reece. "I go crazy and kill everyone in your stupid simulation. This computer crap is fucked up!"

Reece spun around in her chair and glared at Vic. "It has a .3% chance of happening so shut up will you. I have over a million other simulations to run into my computer and I don’t need you all pestering me over the results this 'computer crap' spits out."

Danyelle and Vic looked at each other.

"Hey Vic there is a point three percent chance that you end up confessing your undying love to Vanessa even though she's already dead."

"Actually it's a 52.3% chance that he does confess his love to her while we are at Winden’s house." Reece remarked as she typed away on her keys.

Vic looked flabbergasted with his mouth hanging wide. "W-What?" He coughed lightly and straightened himself out, “This is a bunch of crap I’m leaving.”

I watched as he stormed out of the room. We had gone to Reece’s house because she had this software that could do realistic simulations. I looked back at the computer and shivered, maybe that wasn’t such a great idea. For Vic to go crazy and kill everyone was not the happy ending I had envisioned.

I grabbed my bag off the floor and turned to leave. “I think I’m going to go with him. Make sure to tell me what the results are.”

The bag bounced off my back as I made my way down the stairs. Reece’s house was pretty grand. I had noticed that all the pictures and trinkets around here were pretty expensive. I wasn’t sure if it was old money like my families or if she was new but whatever it was her family was certainly loaded. I reached for the door and stopped to see a wolf sitting next to it. Shocked that such a creature was inside her house I jumped back from it. The wolf wagged its big fluffy tail across the floor and panted playfully. Now that I knew the thing wasn’t going to jump me I slowly bent down and rubbed its ear.

The creature really was breathtaking with it soft brown eyes and gloriously lush pelt. I continued to rub its ear as I looked it over more. The fur wasn’t just one solid color like I had imagined them to be but more of a mixture of colors. The top of it started out as a dark brown the changed into a tan color before becoming perfectly white on its belly. Truly a beautiful creature. I patted its head to signal that I was leaving. The wolf got up and started walking into the living room. I watched the wolf until it was out of view and then opened the door.

I looked out to see that Vic had already started up his mustang. He looked up at me in the doorway and smiled. A smiled formed on my lips. Even though he wasn’t sure if I would follow him out he had still waited for me. I felt a light flutter in my chest as I made my way to the car. I was really in love with that man.

After I hopped in the passenger’s side and tossed my bag into the back seat I leaned over to him to peck his cheek. He turned just in the nick of time though and I ended up kissing his lips. I pulled away quickly and buckled up. Vic stared at me in awe. “What was that for?”

I shrugged my shoulder. “For waiting.”

He tried to keep his expression barren but I caught the slight twitch on his mouth. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

I rolled my eyes. “So where to next?”

His finger tapped out a rhythm on the steering wheel as he drove. “I was thinking maybe a little training.”

“Sure.”

Vic cocked his eyebrow and glanced over at me. “Sure?”

I nodded. “Yeah.”

“No ‘Alright but I’m going to kick your ass.’?”

Laughter warmed my insides. “I think we’re pretty evenly matched but if it makes you feel better I’m still going to kick your ass.”

He smiled over at me. “Yeah, yeah we’ll see.”

I laughed again as we made our way to the training grounds.

Danyelle's POV

I tossed back the rest of the water from my glass. Originally I had used it as an excuse to try and find Aiden. When I didn’t automatically find him though I thought that it might be good to get glass. I set the cool cup down next to the kitchen sink. If I was Aiden where would I be?

I found myself smiling a few moments later and made my way to the living room. I had found him once before lying down on the couch so with any luck he might be there again. I hadn’t exactly planned on ditching Reece to run the rest of the simulations by herself but that computer stuff bored me. Aiden on the other hand was anything but boring. I skipped over to the couch that he had laid on before and was disappointed to find the wolf Aiden there instead. The wolf raised its head up after hearing my sigh and instantly started wagging its tail. Even though he hadn’t been the Aiden I was looking for I could still waste some time with him.

I walked over to the front of the couch and sat down next to Aiden’s nose. The wolf stuck his face up to mine and started licking me. The feeling wasn’t something that I was accustomed to so I giggled at his wet kisses.

“Stop it Aiden you’re making my cheek wet.”

After a few more licks he settled down and rested his head on my lap. Aiden was such a gorgeous wolf. His pelt was always soft and warm against my skin and his big brown eyes made me want to smother him. I ran my fingers through the softness of his fur. He sighed against my leg at the feeling and I laughed.

“Oh you like that uh?”

I took his silence as a yes and kept on petting him. I had always thought that keeping a wolf as a pet was a bit strange but now that I was with Aiden it didn’t seem all that weird. He was very loving, playful, and well mannered. I rested my head back on the couch and though back to the last time I had been here. Last time I had been on this couch Aiden had sat right next to me. Instead of resting my head against the cushion it had been his arm or chest. I smiled at the memory. He had been so warm and firm that it had driven me crazy. The man himself was just too good to be true with his quick smiled and warm remarks.

I ran my hand down the length of his pelt. “You know that master of yours is a really sweet man.”

Aiden lifted his head up off my lap and looked at me. I met his gaze and kept talking. “I don’t think I’ve ever met a man as warm as him. Last time I was here he made my heart pound so hard that it hurt.”

I laughed at the memory. “Everything he did or said were just perfect. The man even took me out to see the stars from the hood of his car. How romantic is that?”

I went back to rubbing his head. “You know I really wished I could tell whether or not he liked me.” A frown pushed its way onto my face. “He probably doesn’t like me I’m just getting my hopes up for nothing. I mean I’ve never even had a boyfriend before and he’s probably had a ton of girls. I’m not even that pretty.” I whined.

“I don’t think that I’m ugly or anything but a guy like him would never go for a girl like me.”

Aiden whined slightly and rubbed his nose against my other hand. I couldn’t believe that I had just told a wolf my feelings like that but then again I felt better telling someone. I raised my other hand and rubbed his chin. “I’m sorry about all of that Aiden. It’s just that…I’ve never liked someone this much before and I’m scared.”

Aiden sensing my discomfort raised his head up to mine and lick my mouth. I squealed at the feeling and raised my arm up to wipe my mouth. “Awe Aiden that’s gross.”

He started wagging his big fluffy tail at me and went in to lick me again. I started laughing as I held him back. “No Aiden you already got your kiss.”

He wobbled onto his hind legs and licked the tip of my nose. Holding him back like this wasn’t helping me at all so I let him loose and took all of his wet kisses with a smile. When he was done giving me love I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him on the nose. “You know you really are amazing Aiden making me feel better like that. Reminds me a little bit of your master.”

“Danyelle!” Reece yelled from upstairs.

I sighed as I picked myself up off the couch and patted Aiden on the head. “I have to go now but next we’ll hang out a lot longer and I’ll make sure to give you lots of loving.”

With that being said I left the room and headed back up to Reece.

Vanessa's POV

I barely dodged Vic attack. Not only had the man grown stronger but also faster. So fast even that I could barely keep up with him. I dropped down to the floor and swung my legs under him hoping to knock him off balance. He hopped over them like they were jump ropes and dropped down on top of me to pin me. I growled at his nearness and took a swipe at him with my nails. The only thing I caught was air.

He bent down over me quickly and nipped my chin. “Come on you can do better than that.”

I hissed at him and kicked him in the knee. Finally I had hit the bastard. He winced at the unexpected attack and gave me a window to hit him again. I punched his windpipe and rolled out from under him while he was coughing. After that I tried to get some more distance between us so I scaled a tree. I kept going up until I reached a branch that was thick enough to support my weight. Once I found one I started running across. I went to look behind me to see how far he was when I noticed the scenery.

I paused on the branch and looked at the breathtaking few. The branch was high enough to where I could see the sun set through the thinned fog. The rays from the sun danced along the tiny water droplets in the air making them sparkle and shine. Light warmth tickled the back of my throat making me smile and giggle at the precious sight. It was an image from a dream or something magical.

While I was distracted by the beautiful scene Vic had climbed his way up the tree and grabbed my hand pulling me away from heaven. Before I could protest he yanked me into his arms and tilted my head to the side so that my neck was completely exposed. He then bared his fangs and leaned down to mark my neck. I flinched at the light sting of the bite. He had broken through the skin and a small drop of blood ran down my neck. He licked the small droplet away like it was something sweet.

“Victor…”

He trailed up to the bite mark he had left on me and kissed it lightly. “Mine.” He claimed then pulled away from my neck to settle his lips on mine.

The taste of him made my body hum in appreciation. I could get drunk of this man and wouldn’t even mind the hangover later. I grabbed at his shirt from behind and pulled him closer. Playfully he bit my lower lip then moved down to the tip of my chin.

I smacked my hand against his chest. “Cut it out. You keep biting me like this you’re going to regret it.”

He smiled wolfishly at the idea. “Oh really?” He leaned in quickly and nipped the bottom of my ear. “What are you going to do?”

I smirked at the tease. If he didn’t think I would seek my revenge on him now that we were…close… he was so wrong. Before he could react I shoved him up against the trunk of the tree and pinned him. I rose up to my tip toes and whispered into his ear.

“Torturing you seems like a great idea.”

I then started to nip and lick along his jaw. He growled back at me in approval but teasing him like this was what I had meant when I said torturing. When I had what I wanted in my hand I quickly turned and leapt off of the tree branch. I landed in a crouch on the ground and looked back up at him with a smile. I stood up and jiggled his keys in my hand. “Maybe next time you should listen to me!” I yelled up after him.

Then I made a mad dash for his car. Behind me I heard the deep growl and thud as he landed on the ground. I didn’t really have much of a head start and since he had grown faster this wasn’t much of a far fight. However I did make it too his car before he caught up with me. If he had left the damn thing unlocked I would have been home free.

He caught my shoulder and spun me around to pin me to the door of his car. Vic leaned forward and growled down at me. Instead of pouting or growling back at him I leaned onto my tip toes again and smacked my lips against his for a quick kiss. After I looked up at him and smiled. “Big baby.”

He glared at the comment and reached for his keys. “Whatever,”

He didn’t smile at me until the keys were safely in his hands. Then he placed his lips on my forehead. “Come on it’s getting late. Let’s go pick Danyelle.”

He unlocked his side of the car and I got then scooted over to the other side. “It’s not that late. Why the rush?”

He shut the door and started up the car. “I don’t want Reece to rub off on her too much.”

“Reece really isn’t that bad Vic.”

“You’re only saying that because she’s not doing experiments on you.”

I laughed at his reasoning. “True but if I was in a pinch I think I would call her.”

“What? Why?”

I shrugged. “She knows a lot of odd things and I’m sure whatever the situation were, she would be there no questions asked.”

He reached over and togged on a piece of my hair. “I’d rather you called me.”

I smiled over at him. “Shesh what am I going to do with you? You really are such a whiner.”

He growled at my remark and put his hand back on the steering wheel. Laughter erupted from my body. What was I going to do with him? I unbuckled my seatbelt and scooted closer to him then rested my head against him.

Such a perfect man.

Victor had to shake me awake when we reached Reece’s house. I was a little embarrassed that I had fallen asleep on him. It’s probably wasn’t such a great idea either because now my neck was sore.

“Go in and get Danyelle real quick.”

I glared over at him and started stretching. “You woke me up for that?”

“There is no way in hell I am getting anymore experiments done on me today.”

I yawned as I stretched out my arms again. “They aren’t life threatening.”

He turned towards me. “Yeah for now they aren’t.”

My neck cracked as I turned it to the side. I winced at the sudden pain. Cracking my neck wasn’t something that I did too often so it wasn’t a pleasant feeling. I rubbed the side of it and scooted over to the door.

“If you do it quickly I’ll rub that sore neck of yours.”

I froze at the offer and turned back to look at him. “What?”

He laughed at my confused expression. “You heard me now hurry up and go.”

I smiled over at him. “Okay,” Then ran out of the car. Just thinking about Vic massaging my neck forced my stomach to do flips. I shivered just thinking about his hands against my skin. In a flash I made it up the stairs through the hallway and into Reece’s room. As soon as I was there I ushered Danyelle out with my hands. “Come on come on let’s go. Vic is waiting for us in the car.”

Reece and Danyelle both looked at one another and something just connected between the two. I discovered over time that it was not a good sign. As expected I found myself suddenly pushed into a chair as Reece and Danyelle began to bombard me.

"You know you and Vic are like the perfect couple right?" Danyelle said with a wicked grin.

I stared at her dumbfounded. "Uhhh,"
"Obviously she knows Danyelle because they are both so in love with each other. "
"Wait what if it’s just their raging hormones!”
"It’s possible, I mean he's a vampire, everything is ten times enhanced compared to human’s senses."
"OH DEAR GOSH my brother is going to be a sex addict!"
"Ha-ha I don’t think he could get laid even if he tried Dee."
"Reece this is no time to joke about this…I'm too young to be an aunt, damn it!"
"Uhhh…."

"That’s it its bound time for the sex talk!" Danyelle quickly spun
around and started strutting to the door.

Finally I gathered my wits to speak up. "Danyelle hold on now, you two are way off here-

Reece spun around on her heels towards Danyelle and grabbed her small wrist. “Yeah,” Reece said. “If Vic likes Vanessa than they should go on a date or something….Oh gosh wouldn’t that be amazing we could plan it all out for them and everything!”

WHAT!!

“Well I don’t think it should be at a movie 'cause there are some creepy old guys there.” Danyelle said.

“True, last time I was there though some old lady tried sticking her cane right through the screen; we were watching a 3D movie.”

“Okay so movies are out, how about a play?”

“Haha heck no we want them to have fun not fall asleep.”

“Okay than how about a restaurant?”

“Mmmm interesting…go on.”

“Well it could be a Mexican restaurant!”

“Excellent! But first let us finish these simulations before we plan anything else. Vanessa, go and get ready for a memorable night.”

My eyes just about popped out of my socket. They had to be joking right..?
