Chapter 6: Gray's Words

Night

Lucy's Home

Lucy's P.O.V

I sat in my office in defeat. I've been trying to write for the past four hours but each time I get a move on the plot that asshole pops up in my head. What the hell was that earlier?!? I facepalmed, it wasn't even just Sting. It was Gray too!

Flashback

As I stood in shock Sting grew a smirk. Gray chuckled before he nodded. "Sure, I've been reading a lot of your books so I might as well." I felt a faint blush appear on my cheeks.

"Good, I will have my secretary send you the information." Sting's phone rang causing him to look at it. "Dammit" The elevator opened to the lobby floor and he walked out of it before answering.

"Well it was nice seeing you Gray but I have to go." I attempted to walk away only for him to suddenly trap me between him and the wall next to us. He reached over and pressed the top floor of the hotel. I paused In confusion. "Gray?" His bangs covered his eyes but from the little expression I saw, his face was vague.

"Lucy, you sleep with me and try to escape?" Not again.

"Well I didn't mean to-"

"Yet you did." I chuckled nervously before pushing his bangs back.

"Gray, we don't have to worry about that, do we? I mean maybe as can come to an agreement-"

"You can't pay me off with money. "

"I wasn't saying that but-"

"What I want is you." My blush returned.

"Me?"

Now

I yelled in annoyance. Come on, why is he making me blush.?!? I pushed the memory out of my head and looked at the red-headed woman in front of me. She read through four fashion magazines in the past hour. Must have been for business. I rested my head on my hand.

"What's wrong?"

"Huh?"

"You're staring at me."

"O...oh"

"If you have a question to ask then say it."

"It's not that..."

"Lucy-" I sighed.

"Can you buy a company for me?"

"No"

"I can't buy it myself. You know he wouldn't sell it to me."

"Still no"

"Please Erza, I can't work under him."

"After that event with Jellel and the last publishing company he bought, we agreed to never own one again." Ezra and Jellel married after college and became big named CEO's. They are the top three CEO's of this country and in the top hundred in the world.

"But Erza it's not like everyone knew that a publishing company would be making counterfeit money."

"Still a no. I love you but it's a promise I made. Also weren't you and Cana the ones who decided to sign the contract under him?" I sighed.

"Yes"

"Lucy, you should probably go back to writing. I am going to leave your lunch here okay." I smiled at her.

"You packed another product you want me to endorse didn't you?"

"Not this time. I only want you to give it a try."

"What is it this time?"

"Free Spirit" She left.
