Heartless. Cold. Murderer. These are some things that are said about Duchess Cordelia Lionheart. She's blunt and difficult and these are just the tip of the iceberg of what is said about her. That's without even mentioning she's also revengeful, prideful, and inconsiderate, but at the very least they're countered somewhat by being sweet as well which is hardly ever seen. But focus on her as this is what she's often despised for. Multiple enemies have been made because of this and her harshness which is a true shame for both sides. Fair is fair though, Cordelia isn't completely rotten. She's courageous and appreciative when around good friends and her children, there's still a beacon of hope. Unfortunately, her difficult nature tends to ruin whatever good comes from those traits.

History of LionHeart Duchy: The LionHeart Duchy is one of the strongest and most feared noble houses in the massive City of Gia in the Rune Kingdom, being known for generations of strong wizards and knights. Even the Emperor doesn't dare say anything to the Duke of LionHeart. The Duke was a war hero and a loving husband to the late Duchess. The Duchess was a Butterfly of High Society and everyone adored the kind Duchess, known for being talented in magic and her love of roses. The children were known for their beauty and smarts as well except for one child out of 6. The third daughter, Cordelia. She had smarts and beauty but she was treated horribly due to her birth making the duchess weak and sick. The Duchess was fragile with her last pregnancy but thankfully survived, yet still frail which worried the Duke and their elder children. Even though the Duke and her older siblings disliked her, the Duchess adored her and loved her very much since she was a spitting image of her beside her eyes which were an unusual ruby red. She was not an illegitimate child but received this ancient trait of ruby eyes that appeared in the Duchess's family over 100 years ago from unknown sources. It was speculated that ruby eyes appeared in Duchess's family, The Cerberus Family when the child had extreme magical ability. Though Cordelia never showed any magical ability so the Duke considered her useless and wouldn't even allow her to attend the academy when she was younger, The Duchess soon passed away after a sudden magic burst happened in her bed chambers. Cordelia had been in the room and the whole Duchy blamed her and treated her worse after the Duchess passed. The Lionheart Duchy never showed her to the public and never wanted to. She was supposed to be the Duchy's secret.

Backstory: When the duchess was pregnant with Cordelia, she gushed about her baby and how she'd be beautiful and smart. Though sadly, Cordelia was born a month early and the duchess grew sick and weak which put the whole Duchy in dismay. Cordelia was weak like her mother and had no infinity for magic which displeased the Duke so the treated her like she didn't exist. The Duchess on the other hand, adored and loved her with all her heart so to keep from upsetting his wife, the Duke pretended to love her but only when the Duchess was around. Cordelia was 6 when her mother passed away, and she blamed herself. Her mother's magic was flowing out of control of her body and Cordelia was with her that morning in her bed chambers because her mother called for her. Her mother was brushing her hair when Cordelia's magic flow started and collided with the Duchess's uncontrolled magic flow causing a huge magic burst. Cordelia was traumatized and screamed in deviation that her mother lay dead before her. As she grew up, her heart became cold and distant to everyone until one day when she was 16, she snuck out of the duchy and met her husband. The firstborn of the IronRose Dukedom. Ivan IronRose. He courted her whenever she snuck out and eventually, he found out whose family she belong to. This caused rumors among the kingdom about the Duke of LionHeart's mysterious daughter so the Duke was forced to present her to the Emperor and other nobles. She was recognized as the youngest and started to attend social gatherings after taking hours and hours of etiquette lessons and other classes which she passed with flying colors. The young Cordelia and the young man grew closer and when she turned 17 he proposed to her. She happily accepted and was married. The two duchies were nicknamed 'The IronHeart Dukedom.' While the LionHeart Dukedom was known for its wizards and strong knights, the IronRose was known for knights that directly served the Emperor. The relationship seemed perfect until Cordelia and Ivan's 3rd anniversary. She prepared a huge banquet and had exciting news for Ivan and when she entered their private chambers she caught him. Sleeping with Marquis Gilbert's eldest daughter Roseline. This made Cordelia's heart shatter. The love she craved and had finally achieved was snatched away. Her magic went on a rampage and destroyed half the main house. She demanded a divorce and even threatened Ivan for it and she got it. She moved home and was confronted by her father. Slurs were thrown at her and every degrading thing was said. She used her magic to kill him, taking over his dukedom and shaping it into her own. Those who had loved her and her mother stayed while the others were purged. This was how she obtained the title. ' Cordelia the Rune Kingdom's Dark Sorceress '  or ' The White Witch of Death ' gave birth to her triples, Max, Wren, and Allura. She is raising them with her loyal subjects and is raising them to be cautious of everyone and careful with things that seem too good to be true. Not wanting them to even be hurt like she had been. She doesn't go to gatherings or events. But maybe that will change one day
