Chapter 15 - "Comic Con..."

Jenna's PoV

"To sum up yes I am seeing someone right now" I reiterated to him on the sofa striking down Twitter.

I don't even want to pretend like he's done something stupid because he has, but it was bound to come out sooner or later.

'People will calm down eventually' he said.

'You realise I'm coming with you to comic con. The paparazzi aren't going to leave us alone' I complained. 'We'll never get a moments peace'

'Don't worry about that Jenna.' Steven assured. 'BBC America look after you really well. Whenever you want to go out security will be available, and no offence but he'll be shut in the hotel on press for three days' Steven pointed out.

'I know'

'Yeah but we're staying in San Diego for 4 days after that. We won't have security then' Matt added.

'Staying in the same hotel?'

'Yeah, it's easier than moving' I said.

'Then maybe we can talk to them' Moffat assured. 'He did the right thing you know Jenna ' Steven said.

'Especially since that photo was taken of you on top of him'

'I know'

'There would have been no point denying it. It would have been even worse'

'Now can people be this dedicated already. It's not even been a whole series aired here yet' I complained.

'That's just the fans' he said.

'So airport' Karen said as we all headed there. I feel like I follow along sometimes, but Stevens bringing his wife to comic con so it's not so bad this time.

And Karen's mums coming too.

'At least we get Roomy seats' he said. 'It's only because you and Karen are so fricken tall. Short people like me don't need roomy seats' I pointed out.

'Are you gonna eat that?' He asked pointing at my pasta bake. 'Eew no. I can't stand plane food' I complained.

'So are you not gonna eat the entire flight?'

'Well I ate before we left the airport, so no. It's like going to bed. I'll eat when I wake up' I said snuggling up in the roomy seat and covering my self with a blanket.

Matt's PoV

'It's a wonder you make anytime for anything else. That girl can sleep. She's slept for 8 hours of this flight so far' Arthur said leaning over his seat.

'Yeah. And? I'd rather her asleep than moaning the whole time'

'Moaning?'

'She knew what she got herself into when she agreed to go out with me but she keeps stealing Twitter'

'Why?'

'She likes to follow my hashtag which mainly shows up me and pictures of Doctor who, but obviously the one picture that's trending at the moment...' I trailed off.

'Is the one of you and her' he finished for me.

'Exactly'

'Girls are complicated man. Just agree with her. You will undoubtably asked that question at comic con, you just have to ask her what you should say. Even if you don't like the answer' he said giving some advice and dropped back on his seat.

'Can you believe that swamp reception at San Diego Airport?' Karen said as we headed to our rooms.

'No. That was something else' I responded dragging a half sleeping Jenna in the lift.

'Whys she so tired!'

'I found out she doesn't like flying. She took some sleeping tablets before we took off, and they take a good solid 12 hours to wear off' I said as I tucked her into bed and slung the suitcases in.

'Cool. Interconnecting rooms. I'm gonna make good use of that' Karen smirked and I gasped.

'Or maybe I'll look the door' I said and she pouted.

'Did I really sleep the entire flight?' Jenna asked as she found a flowery dress to wear and out some white sandals on.

'Yes. But it was fine though. You got here' I said.

'I'm just worried about getting home' she said.

'Come on guys hurry up. The panel is at 1. We need to be there' Arthur said like the impatient Dad of the group.

'Coming' I said admiring myself once more and left the room. The though I turned to look at Jenna. 'Umm. About the relationship questions? What do I say?'

'You might as well admit to it. You already have' she said smiling and kissed me.

We're called into the stage of Hall H and are beckoned to our seats, with our names in front of us.

I took my coffee on but there's water there anyway.

It's amazing the vibes at comic con. I love it. I love seeing all the people dressed up, and this year there were a lot of people with bow ties.

I've never been to comic con but it's always been my kind of dream. If I was to cosplay with the rest of them, then I'd go for Batman or maybe a Harry Potter character.

'Hi my question is for all of you. If you could travel anywhere in the Tardis where would you go?' A young girl asked.

I used to think that question was great but it gets a bit tedious answering it.

'I'd defiantly go into space, and stand on a star. Always loved physics and space. I still vote for an episode where we stand on a star' I said looking at Steven and he laughed.

'What do you think you've bought from yourself to the character?' 

'Everything. I'm just as clumsy and idiotic as he is. I mean that's the great thing about 11, he's completely more stupid. It's like all of a sudden he's regenerated into this young body. You know one of a teenager or early twenties, and although he's got this big historical past that he doesn't want to think about and that makes him old... He's got all this energy so he feels like he has to use it' I said describing it well.

'I don't think I have to be honest. I play her a lot different to me' Kaz said and both Arthur and I could agree.

'She's right. Karen is mad. Completely mad. Where as Amy has more of a path to follow and wants what she wants... Where as Kaz doesn't particularly care' Arthur rounded.

'My question is for Matt. We've seen the pictures online of you and a girl, we just want to know if that's a friend or if you really are in a relationship... Because most fans think your really adorable together if it's true'

'Like I said at the Last Q&A in New York. I don't like to talk about my private life too much and relationships, but to stop rumours getting to our of control yes I'm in a relationship of 5 months, and were happily together. As a big fan of Doctor who myself... I'd really appreciate it if you wouldn't get hung up on my private life and respected it's private' I said looking at keen who made the Panel more About Doctor Who again.

'Oh my God. I'm going to the Star Wars Panel' Jenna announced when we were going to do press.

'Without me?' I pouted.

'Well I was t sure if you'd be able too' she said sadly.

'No. I can't' I said looking at the tickets. 'It's the same time as our Nerd Hq panel, but you go and have fun' I encouraged.

'Where are you going now?' She asked, as I took her hand in mine. 'I've got to do a press interview right there. You can wait there if you like'

'Doctor who Series 6 then Matt. What can you tell us?'

'That in still in it' I joked. 'I can't actually tell you anything because we haven't had the scripts. We've not even started the Christmas special yet' I admitted.

'What's it like being on Doctor Who?'

'It's amazing. I love getting the responsibility of such an iconic character. The first episode I was in, I was afraid to watch and kept looking away, but now I quite enjoy it'

'Hello?' The interviewer asked as Jenna stood behind her waiting. After this interview I'm hers for the rest of the day so she's possibly a bit impatient.

'Hi' she said and I motioned her to join me. 'Hey Jenna. Making a visit' I joked and she laughed as I took her hand.

'Is this an exclusive? I feel like I shouldn't be getting this' she said. 'Yeah this is an exclusive' I laughed kissing her forehead.

'Thanks for talking with me and good luck with Season 6'

Jenna's PoV

'Okay. Now I feel like I'm the only one who has no where to go' I complained when we got back to the hotel.

'Well I did not see that coming. I didn't even know he had an agent.... But he'll definitely suit that programme. All the blood and gore of the books'

'You've read them?' I asked.

'No just the first 2 so I have no idea what will happen to his character' Matt laughed.

Lilly's starting Drama school in September and Richard has just landed a part in Game of thrones. Quite a big part too. So I'm the only one who doesn't have a future now I've left school.
