"Why are you so different?" He asked her.

"What do you mean?"

"You like dancing and singing in the rain. As if that's not enough when people make fun of you, you continue without a care in the world."

"You say that like its a bad thing,"

"Well it is. Aren't you afraid of being labeled weird?"

"Look a label is just a label. It doesn't define me. I'm not going to change for anyone."

"Were in high school, it's not cool to be different."

"If the queen of cool, the queen of kindness, the queen of our generation said and I quote, 'you're luck enough to be different, never change' then I'll do just that. I will always be true to myself."

"Are you quoting Taylor Swift again?" He yelled as she ran out of the building.

"Yup," she said as she opened the door. She left behind the rules of society and entered her own world. One in which it's okay to dance in the rain. To be different.

In that moment, he let the queens words touch his heart.

To spectators they probably looked like fools. But he felt like a king as he twirled her around in the rain. He felt free.

He enjoyed every second of being different because life is not forever.

You must choose to live the way you want to. Not by the way others say to.
