Keep Going
The crowds of people at the airport only made her more impatient.
She continued to glance around hoping she would spot him soon. She did not want to miss him, which was hard to do with his giraffe like height.
She kept checking the time. 2:00. He should of been here two hours ago.
His plane already had landed. Unless he booked a later flight, but he would of told her.
She was so concentrated that she didn't see the lady standing by her.
"How long?" The lady asked.
"Excuse me I don't know what you're talking about," she responded.
"You keep looking at the clock that I assumed you're waiting for someone."
"Yeah he should be here by now. I've tried calling him,but he doesn't answer."
"Instead of watching the clock be like it."
She looked at the old lady confused, and expecting her to explain herself.
"Keep going," was all the lady said before leaving.
And then it dawned on her. He wasn't worth it.
For the fourth time, she walked alway from the airport. Away from hope, because just like the clock, she had to keep going.
