"Wear something edgy, like what you wore in the club a few days ago!"

Kasalukuyang nasa bahay ko si Eve at Ryssi getting ready for the event later. Marami daw ang magaganap doon at baka abutin kamo hanggang madaling araw doon.

6 pm ang start ng event. The school committee decides to make it a night event para hindi mainitan ang mga estudyante. Marami ding outsiders na pupunta dahil nga sa bandang bibisita sa amin ngayon.

I'm not a big fan of bands. Especially from what I just read about that Ravi guy from Bloodthirst. Maraming may ayaw sa kanya dahil mahilig niyang pag laruan ang mga babae.

I thought I was going to start liking their band because their music isn't that bad and they are a bunch of cuties but luckily I stalked them and saw that he was a bad one.

Well, I assume he is because of the bad comments about him.

"Anong edgy? Sa school pa rin tayo pupunta 'no! Baka makita tayo ng isang Prof. at pagbihisin pa tayo ng pants at shirt na galing sa school, 'wag na lang," I said before continuing to find my outfit.

After a few minutes, I decided to wear a silver cropped turtleneck, a black leather skirt with gold jewelry paired with thigh high boots. I also curled my hair para maganda ang bagsak nito, perfect for pictures.

"Ang init naman dito. Lia umalis ka nga, ang init oh," Eve teased and we three laughed. After we finished our makeup, Ryssi offered to take us there para hindi na kami mag drive.

It was a good thing though, mahirap mag drive pag naka boots. Masakit kasi sa paa.

We arrived at the parking lot of the school and from there we could hear the loud music, smell of food, and see the lights from the football field.

We walked in and people checked our ID's. Oh no... is alcohol involved again? I promised myself not to drink ever again! Kahit sabihin ko na pipigilan ko ang sarili ko from temptation, my friends would force me to take a shot until I'm passed out drunk again.

"Sabi nila nasa loob na daw ng school gymnasium ang mga performer, should we go in and take a look?" Ryssi asked at umiling na lang ako bago mag patuloy na mag lakad scanning the whole place.

There were a lot of games, mostly involving alcohol so I don't see myself playing any of these tonight. Getting wasted is not included in one of my plans, unless someone forces me.

"We should enjoy the night muna and not spoil the surprise, but I'm hoping they are eye-candy." Eve grinned before taking a red cup from someone passing around some drinks. I shook my head when they offered me a cup, I'm sure they're not juice. I learned that from when I was a first year here.

If it's a red cup, it's alcohol or beer.

Minsan nga natatakot ako tumanggap ng inumin sa kung sino eh. Malay mo may lamang lason pala 'yon at hindi mo na namalayan na nasa loob ka na ng hotel at walang suot na damit.

Maybe I'm just too paranoid but it's better to be safe than sorry, am I right?

We sat down as they finished their drinks, hindi nga healthy ang ginagawa nila eh. We haven't eaten dinner yet pero sila umiinom na.

I don't know how they do it but my alcohol tolerance has been so low ever since I got my first sip of alcohol.

Parang anim na shot lang ng tequila lasing agad ako tapos dalawang bote ng beer tipsy agad ako.

Baka nga kapag naging lasinggera ako, someone might've taken advantage of me and my drunk ass self already.

"Hindi ba muna tayo kakain ng hapunan? Alam kong mahilig kayong magwalwal pero lamanan niyo kaya muna ang tyan niyo?" I said while observing them. They sighed before putting down the cups.

"Only if you drink," Ryssi said and flashed her mischievous grin. Umirap ako at bumuntong hininga at chineck ang cellphone ko dahil may nag message.

From: Mom.

I won't be home. Your Lola and I will discuss some private matters. Don't stay up too late, mag aral mabuti.

I looked back up to see them staring at my face which was so uncomfortable so I gave up.

"Fine, but I'll drink after we eat dinner," I told them at tumango naman sila. Hindi ko talaga kayang tiisin 'tong mga kaibigan ko grabe. They may be a bad influence when it comes to drinking but they stood with me at my lowest and I'm very glad that I have them right now.

We ate at unli wings and pasta, and of course took a lot of photos together. Ganito naman kami lagi eh.

I was eating my chicken wings when some guy stopped in front of us holding a camera. We all looked at him confused so I raised a brow.

"H-hello po," The guy stuttered at ibinaba ko naman ang pagkain ko para ituon ang buong atensyon sa kanya. "Ate Lia, pwede po ba magpapicture? Crush po kasi kita hehe," He shyly rubbed the back of his neck. It took awhile for me to process it at nabalik lang ako sa huwisyo nang tapikin ako ni Eve.

"Of course! Hold on a second," I removed my plastic gloves and sprayed some alcohol on my hands. Lumapit ako sa kanya at nag peace sign sa camera. After he took a picture with me, he thanked me.

"So, hindi ako na inform na sikat ka pala at may gustong magpapicture sa'yo?" Eve smiled and I just chuckled before continuing to eat. Hindi rin naman ako na inform na may nagkakacrush sa akin dito sa university eh. Alam kong hindi ako kilala sa mga tao dahil naka private lahat ng social media ko.

"In fairness, crushable naman 'yung guy." Ryssi wiggled her eyebrows and I gave her a disgusted look.

"Girl, he looks like a college freshman. Pasok na 'ko as sugar mommy para sa kanya ang kaso lang wala akong pera," I chuckled.

After eating nagpababa muna kami ng kinain bago mag try ng games.

We tried throwing darts and the loser had to drink a shot. Good thing that I didn't lose that so I don't have to drink as of the moment. Gano'n lang naman kailangan gawin ko eh. I have to keep on winning para hindi ko kailanganing uminom.

"Ang daya mo naman, Lia! Plano mo ba kaming lasingin? Magpatalo ka naman oh!" Eve complained. I sighed before taking a shot and did bottoms up.

"Happy?" I asked sarcastically and she smiled at me.

We continued playing a lot more games and surprisingly I am enjoying the night. Hindi na ako tumanggap ng hard alcohol pero may hawak akong cup na puno ng beer. Okay na 'yan lang inumin ko in case mag lasing ang dalawa at hindi nila kaya mag drive.

I've always been the friend that takes care of them but that one night, I was completely blackout kaya hindi ko sila naasikaso. Kaya naman na nila 'yon, malaki na sila.

It was already 10 pm and hindi pa rin sila tumigil sa pag inom. I was kind of tipsy already and they are almost drunk kasi may nilalandi na sila. "Hoy, Ryssi. May boyfriend ka 'di ba?" Hinila ko siya pabalik sa akin. Paano kasi humaharot sa isang junior. Okay lang sana kung wala siyang boyfriend kaso meron eh.

"Ang tagal naman ng banda na 'yon. Gusto ko na umuwi!" Pagrereklamo ko at tinawanan lang nila ako. Buti sana kung hindi ako papagalitan ng mga magulang ko pag nalaman nila na I wasted my time on this stupid event e'di sana naglalasing ako ngayon.

"Chill ka lang, Lia. Baka excited ka lang makakita ng gwapo," She smirked and I gave a sarcastic smile before drinking water. Natapos ko na kasi 'yung beer na iniinom ko kaya mas okay na simulan ko nang mag pa sober up. Just in case na may humuli sa amin sa daan pauwi, at least ako hindi na gaanong may tama sa alak.

"Please proceed in front of the stage, the performance is about to start," We heard the voice of our principal. Agad ko naman inaya na ang mga kaibigan ko bago pa sila kumuha ng shot ulit. Kami ang nauna doon kaya nasa pinaka harap kami, kitang kita namin ang mga mukha ng mga performers.

Dalawa lang naman ang magiging reaksyon ko, either I enjoy the night even more or mabuwiset ako dahil ang pinaka ayaw ko na banda ang magpeperform. 'Yung Bloodthirst na 'yon.

"Good evening everyone!" Our principal shouted to the mic kaya rinig 'yun ng lahat. "We have an exciting performance for tonight, hindi sila gaanong sikat pero baka sumikat sila after their performance here on our school," He smiled at na excite naman kaming lahat.

"Let's hear it from... Bloodthirst!"

Agad nalaglag ang panga ko. Putangina naman. Akala ko hindi ko na sila ulit makikita pero pinaglaruan ata ako ng tadhana dahil nakita ko na naman ang mukha nung lalaking kinaayawan ko.

I don't hate their music and the three other band members, but something about Ravi makes my blood boil. Baka dahil sa nabasa kong comments tungkol sa kanya? They're just rumors at walang patunay na totoo pero galit pa rin ako sa kanya.

Kasi it's not impossible for him to actually do that. He looks like a red flag, his whole aura screams red and I hate it.

"Tara na, wala na akong gana," Pagaaya ko sa mga kaibigan ko pero muntik na silang matumba nang tumayo sila galing sa pag kaupo. I sighed and asked them not to move na lang, fine. We'll finish this stupid performance.

Sana pumiyok si Ravi or magkamali 'yung chord na tutugtugin niya.

I crossed my arms looking at them, kahit nasa harap kami ay hindi pa niya ako nakikita. But it's not like I wanted him to see me, but if ever... I want to slit his throat para di na siya makakanta. Gano'n katindi ang galit ko sa kanya kahit hindi ko siya kilala.

Gawa na kaya ako ng dummy account para ibash siya?

Tsaka na pag nakita ko na ang tunay na kulay niya.

"Hello everyone! We are Bloodthirst," Sabay sabay nilang sabi sa sariling mga mic.

"To those who don't know us. I am Ravi, and those three are my musketeers," He joked at bumenta naman ito sa mga tao maliban sa akin. Bully amp. Hindi gagana 'yan sa'kin pre, walang kwenta mag joke tsk.

Nagpakilala sila isa isa at nakipag kwentuhan muna sa crowd. "Bago kami mag simula, follow niyo muna kami sa social media," Ravi flashed his wide smile. His breath captivating smile. Umiling ako para hindi ko maisip 'yun. Galit ako. Galit ka Lia.

"The first song that we'll sing is Say you won't let go. I wanted to sing a cover of this song because I met such a wonderful girl a few days ago and I knew I loved her then." He winked before turning his back from the crowd. He started the original riff of the song.

"I met you in the dark, you lit me up. You made me feel as though I was enough." Hindi ko mapigilang matulala sa kanya. His voice was so calming and soothing. I just know one thing. I can't stay mad at him. He looks like an awful person but psychology taught me to understand the people's story and not judge them at first glance.

Pero wala naman akong panahon na kilalanin siya. I want to know if he's bad news just like his appearance. Or there's a soft side in his heart that not most people know. But we don't have a reason to see or talk to each other.

He's slowly getting into the spotlight and I don't want to be involved in his career. Because it will just complicate my life.

"I wanna live with you, even when we're ghosts. 'Cause you were always there for me when I needed you the most," His and my eyes locked gazes. I saw him flash a grin before closing his eyes to sing his heart out.

After the first song uminom muna ng tubig si Ravi bago ibalik ang atensyon sa amin. He smiled at the crowd, "Ngayon lang kami nakaranas ng ganito kalaking crowd. It seems like we're in a real concert na! Thank you for making one of our dreams come true," He bowed and I saw happy tears coming down from his cheek at agad naman naawa ang mga tao at pumalakpak.

"The next song is one of Arctic Monkeys best songs. Pinilit ko mga kasama ko na iperform 'tong kanta na 'to but I just want to say that maybe I just wanna be yours," He winked which made the girls scream. I guess marami na agad ang admirers ni Ravi sa school ah.

Umirap naman ako sa kanya, gusto lang sumikat amp.

"Secrets I have held in my heart are harder to hide than I thought. Maybe I just wanna be yours, I wanna be yours." Muling nagtagpo ang mga mata namin and this time he didn't remove his gaze from mine. It's like he was making my knees weak as well as my heart beat as fast as thunder.

Hindi ko na namalayan na natapos na ang kanta at nakatitig pa rin ako sa kanya. "Hoy Lia. Matutunaw si Ravi, may pangarap pa 'yan oy! 'Wag mo muna angkinin," Binatukan ako ni Eve and I glared at her.

"Hindi ko planong angkinin," I rolled my eyes.

Lumapit ang isa sa crew sa kanila so they formed at circle, nagtanguan sila at iniwan nung crew. "We have fifteen minutes left so we're going to throw our unreleased merch to the crowd. Let us know what you think about it," Zach said before he threw some t-shirts and sweatshirts. Nakasalo si Eve ng isa kaya tumalon talon pa siya.

"We also want to thank your school for giving us an opportunity like this, until we see you guys again! Come to our future concerts, we'll surely remember all of you!" Sigaw nung Harvey, the drummer.

After nilang bumaba ng stage nagsimula ng umalis ang mga tao, "Oh beh. Sa'yo na lang 'to oh. Alam naman namin na crush mo 'yung lead vocalist," Sambit sa akin ni Eve at inabot ang sweatshirt. Binigyan ko naman siya ng nandidiring mukha bago ibalik sa kanya 'yon.

"Ilang beses ko ba sasabihin na hindi ko nga siya crush! Makakahanap pa ako ng mas pogi sa kanya 'no," I rolled my eyes before standing up and got my stuff.

"Tara na, ako ang magdadrive," I said in a tired voice. Tatango na sana sila nang may nakasalubong silang kakilala sa org nila. I sighed before excusing myself and told them that I'll chill at the library muna.

Pagpasok ko ng library ay agad ako nakaramdam ng antok dahil malamig dito. Kahit naka long sleeves ako ay giniginaw pa rin ako. Umupo ako sa sulok and rested my face on the table.

Ang sakit na ng ulo ko.

I want to sleep but I can't baka ma lock ako dito sa library and I don't want that to happen.

I had a feeling that I wasn't alone anymore so I opened my eyes and looked up only to see Ravi staring at me.

Agad naman ako tumayo at kinuha yung pepper spray ko at tinapat sa kanya, umiwas naman siya bago itaas ang kanyang kamay.

"Woah, easy girl. I'm here for no harm," He said and I slowly put back my pepper spray. After he saw that I'm not armed anymore, sandali siyang lumapit sa akin.

"You know, you should be less feisty," He said and my brows furrowed before rolling my eyes and I heard him laugh. It's my first time hearing his laugh. Pero wala naman akong pake sa tawa niya, it sounds stupid.

"Alam mo, nakakainis ka. Ilang araw na kita hindi matanggal sa utak ko," I sighed frustratedly. His brows shot up before giving me an amused smile.

Shit! I just realized what I just said. Tanginang alak 'yan. This is why I don't like drinking because my mouth blurts out some crappy things impulsively.

"So... you're thinking about me all week and it's my fault? Wow, you're really impossible," He said while chuckling before placing his hand on the other chair beside him.

Our eyes locked pero umiwas ako agad at isinalampak ang mukha ko sa aking mga kamay.

"I'm cold," I said and pouted. Lumapit naman siya sa akin at hinubad ang kanyang jacket at sinuot sa akin.

My head hurts so bad that I just let him do that.

I saw him pull out his phone to take a picture of me, agad naman kumunot noo ko at kinuha 'yon. "Don't take pictures of me without my consent!" I shouted and he sighed.

"Why are you so mad? Wala naman akong ginawa ah?" He said while looking at me intently.

"Wala kang ginawa sa akin but to others, maybe," I got my phone to show him the comments I read a few days ago.

His brows furrowed and scoffed, he clearly got pissed.

Bumukas ang library at nakita ko ang mga kaibigan niya, "Ravi! Let's go dude, we're leaving," Tawag sa kanya ni Shawn.

He got up and I was to give back his jacket but he was already close to the other side of the library.

"Aurelia," Tawag niya sa pangalan ko kaya nilingon ko siya ulit. Wanting to stop whatever awkward things that's going to happen. Also why the hell does he know my name?!

Is he like a crazy stalker of mine? That's creepy.

"Those rumors died 6 months ago. Don't judge me too quickly, because you don't know me."

He left without another word and I facepalmed myself. Was he mad? Shit, do I have to do anything to make him less mad?

Wait, no! He's not my obligation at hindi ko siya kailangan suyuin.

Napunta ang atensyon ko sa jacket niya, I sniffed it and damn it smells good.

I informed my friends that I'll just take a taxi home. Gusto ko na kasi matulog.

I arrived back at home and I quickly took a shower before laying down in my bed. As I was about to sleep my phone vibrated and lit up.

I checked what it was and my jaw dropped when I saw it.
