Veronica's POV

"So anyway girls, I informed your family you'd be a day late arriving home, it's just I haven't exactly plucked up the courage to tell them we're in hospital" James stated.

I broke the gaze and gave him a stare.

"James why didn't you tell them!?" I asked concerned

"Because I was afraid, I promised your father I would take care of you and nothing bad would happen, that I would guard you guys with my life!" James explained,

"So you lied?" I asked offended

Both of them were looking at me confused, they didn't understand why I was so distraught by the situation! James promised nothing bad would happen, but he just flat out lied to our family! And worst of all he lied about Nessa being in hospital! Well actually more of a white lie but still!

"I'm sorry, I was scared that I wouldn't be trusted to be near you again" he defended

"You know what doesn't help to be trusted? Lying!" I argued,

"It wasn't exactly a lie!" James stated

"What so you just didn't think to mention we would be late arriving home because Nessa broke her nose?!" I bellowed,

"Look I'm sorry if it makes you feel better I'll call them now and tell them we're half way across the country in a hospital with nowhere for two of us to stay the night!" He shouted

"James I'm gonna give you 30 minutes to inform my parents that Nessa broke her nose! Or else you're fired!" I yelled at the top of my lungs,

With that he left the room making sure to slam the door extra hard on the way out.

"...Wow... boy drama" Nessa whispered to herself a little too loudly.

I gave her a stare and made my way out of the room making sure to slam the door hard!
