Roxie's P.O.V.

I woke up to a noise that startles me. I look at the cave entrance, I saw a wolf like object. I realized the wolf had scars all over it. I noticed that it was WolfHeart's mom. I let out a growl. She stood there watching. Until she said, "Give me back the pup or suffer." I shook my head. I picked up the pup put her behind me all curled up.

WolfHeart's P.O.V.

I woke up seeing my mom in the cave entrance. I soon realized that I was being protected by Roxie. I was afraid she would get hurt. All the sudden my Mom was running at me. Roxie then stood in her way. Roxie then sunk her teeth into her back and slung her outside the cave. I shook in fear. I heard my Mom whine she had landed on some stickers.

Mom's P.O.V.

I felt pain to my side. I look to the side and see blood coming from my scars. I felt tears build up into my eyes. WolfHeart came up to me and started crying. She didn't want to see me die, even though I treat her really bad. She started ripping up the stickers. Making her mouth bleed she was crying at the same time. "Wh-Why are you trying to help me?" I asked. She looked up at me with bear standing behind her. I eyed the bear, incase she would try and hurt me. She didn't, she just kept watch and tried to help. My daughter answered like this, "Well that is what a family does foe each other." She smiled with her bloody mouth. Once she freed me I ran away back to the territory. That way I can plan, how to get my pup back from the bear.

Roxie's P.O.V.
I eyed that she-wolf from the time she got here and the time she left. I looked down seeing my little WolfHeart smiling up at me, I smiled down at her. I heard her stomach growling. The smile on face had turn into a straight face. I thought about my cub, which had died from wolves, when we were playing outside of the cave. I quickly saw a deer. Then I shook my head. "Hey Wolf, have you ever had fish?" I asked. She shook her head. I walked up to the river with her following. She stayed close. I told her to stay out of the water so she didn't drown. She nodded her head. I saw a fish I quickly grab it and killed it. I grabbed another for myself. "Go ahead Wolf, I will get as many as you want."

WolfHeart's P.O.V.

I looked at the fish. I nudged it with my snout. It stood still. I opened my mouth as sunk my fangs in to the fish. Watching the blood splatter from the fish. It taste really good. I took the chunk out of the fish, it was so good, I decide to eat as much as I can from that one fish. "Mmmmmmm, that was good."I looked down seeing only bone and the fish tail. Night was falling me and Roxie walked back to the cave. She layer down I slept were her big paws were.

Roxie's P.O.V.

I looked down at Wolf smiling, after a while she fell asleep, leaving me the only one awake. I fell asleep after awhile looking at the cave entrance. Waking up every one and a while and looking around so that way nobody could sneak up on us. I fell asleep.

Roxie's Dream :
"Momma momma, look at the fish." Said my cub.
Lots of wolves show up.
They look at my cub.
They slam my cub on the ground.
They bite my cub's neck exposing the inner parts of the neck.
The wolves told me to back down or else.
They leave in peace.
End of Dream
I wake up breathing hard. I felt tears build up in my eyes. I let my tears fall. Which woke up WolfHeart. She looked at me with a concerned face. She sunk into my chest trying to make me feel better. I felt a shiver go down my spine. That is when I saw a ghost of my cub. He said, "Mommy why did you let me die?" Luckily WolfHeart's face was in my fur that she didn't see. I started to tear up. I say in a crying voice " I didn't want to die also." My cub said "I guess you never loved me." I started to cry as his ghost faded away.
