The days pass by, as Soojin slowly gets accustomed to her new life in Busan, with new people and a new, devastating truth uncovered to her. Life doesn't seem to be easy for her.

School life is the worst moment for Soojin. The kids there are really mean and they bully her a lot just because she's a motherless child. She had no friends there and just stayed alone, studying some books. The bullies would also make her do their homework.

"Hey, look who's here!! The dummy nerd, Kim Soojin!!!" The mean girls and boys laughed at her as she went through the corridor, on her way to her class. She sighs and paid no attention to them. It became a habit of her. She has been facing it since she was given here in school. 'Just some years... Once I'll pursue my career, I'll show them what I'm. And I'll surely hunt down my mother's killer, the one who made my life miserable.' That's her motto of her life.

Suddenly, someone pushes her and she falls down. She whines and begins picking up the books that had fallen out of her bag. She hears a laugh, a very familiar laugh, that makes her blood boil and she looks up. Ugh... It's him!!! The one she hates the most!! She gets up, tidying her clothes and keeps up that same cold expression.

"How are you, my Soojin ah?" he asks her in a mocking tone. "You're looking damn ugly as you always do!"

"I know it and it's none of your concern, Jungkook." She says in her stern voice. She stretches out her hand to him, "Give it already... I'm getting late for my class."

"Woah, you know what I need, hmm?" He hands out her notebook to her, "Good, return me in the evening." saying that, he walks away.

That's him, Jeon Jungkook-Jeon's younger son, who is Soojin's worst enemy. He's the one that bullies her the most. She hates him so much that she doesn't even wants to see his face. For no reason, he would come to her and pull her hair, making fun of her being skinny and called her ugly. Well, she was used to it but what hurt her the most that Jungkook didn't bully anyone else, only her. It made her think sometimes, Am I that bad? That he got only me to bully?

On the other hand, Jungkook didn't bullied her for any serious reasons. It was just he felt jealous sometimes that his older brother, Junghyun, spends more time with Soojin. His brother is the dearest to him. However, he too couldn't stand any other bullying Soojin. He doesn't know why. He would feel like as if she's only his to bully. So, he would interfere between them and save Soojin from them. Nonetheless, his actions had no effect on her. Soojin seriously hates Jungkook!

Her dad, Haru, has been studying hard to get a better job. It is the time for his exams so, he has to go to Seoul. He trusts the Jeons with Soojin's responsibility, so he leaves her in Busan till he returns. She's quite relieved that she'll be spending a week and a half with the Jeons but still, she can't overlook the fact that it is also the home of her biggest enemy, Jungkook!!! She mentally groans at it. She f*ckin hates him!!

Ugh!! How am I supposed to live with him in the same house!!!

"Hyung, Noona... Please take care of Soojin till I return.. ", Haru requests Mr. And Mrs. Jeon.

"Haru ah!!! She's like our daughter! You go without any tension and give your exams!!" Mr. Jeon assures him.

And yeah... The hell begins! Soojin sighs as she enters their compartment. Mr and Mrs. Jeon are really kind and loving but they have no idea that their younger son and Soojin are sole enemies. Mrs. Jeon tells her to rest in Jungkook's room. She was anxious at first but getting to know that he wasn't home, she felt relieved. She hadn't been to his room before. It's small, not much large, with a medium sized bed a wardrobe and a study table. There are a lot of posters of BigBang on the walls. Seems like he is a fan of them.

Jungkook reaches home after playing with his friends and looks shocked to see Soojin in his room.

"You? What are you doing here?!" he asks, a tinge of anger and annoyance in his tone.

"IDK... Ask your mom!" she replies with the same coldness that she beholds in her tone.

He sighs, "Mom!!! What is Soojin doing in my room?!!"

Mrs. Jeon comes there in a moment, "Ah Kookie, I haven't informed you but Soojin ah will be staying with us for a while. Haru has gone to Seoul to apply for a job. So till then, you stay with your brother while Soojin will be staying in your room"

"What?!!! My room?!!! But... Why?!! Mom please!!!" he whines. Oh no!! Not her, please!!

"Kookie! It's just for a while!! Go and stay with your brother!" Mrs. Jeon tells him in her stern voice and he sighs. She soon leaves the room, leaving both the enemies alone.

"Wow, you came to ruin my life in my own house too, unbelievable!!" he scoffs as she rolls her eyes.

He takes some of his important stuff and makes his way to his brother's room. Soon, she has her dinner with the Jeons but surprisingly, there's no interaction between her and Jungkook. The days goes by, and as expected, Jungkook would come over to her and criticize her every now and then.

For Jungkook, on the other hand, it was like fun. Not just bullying her, he would love to simply watch her too. He has no idea why. But, he would just sneak glances of her, doing her work. When she would look up to him, he would just bully her to not seem like a creep, staring at her.

It is the fourth day of her living with the Jeons. Usually, no matter how much she got bullied, it didn't matter to her. But today, it is different. Being bullied by a student and being bullied by a teacher, there is a lot of difference. When Soojin finally decided to speak up against one of those bullies, she was taken to the principal and the worst, she too bullied her and called her a curse. That damn hurts!!

And as soon as she reached home, his presence just fueled all that anger and hurt. She flared up, seeing him, the person she hates the most!!

"Hey miss skinny and nerdy, what's up--" his words are cut off by her ice-cold voice, "What do you need? Homework? Give it!"

He's taken aback by that sternness. He tries to make the mood lighter by teasing her again (well, in his way), "You know, it feels so sick to have you around--"

That was her last straw, "I know, I know!!! I know my mom died cause of me, I know I'm a curse!! Don't worry, Just a week, I'd be gone!!" she yells and rushes to the restroom, leaving a frozen Jungkook there.

What? She has.... No mother?!
