"OMG!! Seoul is sooo big!!" He exclaims as he walks down the street, removing his jacket slightly, "But it's warmer here than it is in the village"

He takes out a card and reads out its contents, mumbling under his breath, "Nonhyeon-dong, Street no. 94 BIGHIT building-- oh, is this it?" He says glancing at the building in front of him, "Yes yes!" He fixes his farmer hat and makes his way in. He looks around the comparatively small dance hall, that seems huge to him, in awe, "Damn! What is this?! It's about....10x larger than my room!!"

He notices a small corridor and makes his way through it. Letting out a long yawn, he squints his eyes and searches for dorm no. 1.

He finds it moments later and notices a small note on the door, which says, "THE DOORMAT"

"Doormat?" He frowns and crouches down only to find a key under it. He makes an 'oh' face and opens the door. He's baffled to see a room so similar to his. So messy and untidy.... It clearly represents a typical bunch of teenagers' room. He clears up a lower bed and places his things there. He was getting so bored and sleepy that he decides to take a power nap. He didn't realise that the power nap would turn into a 6-hour sleep.

It's about five in the evening and the boys- Seokjin, Namjoon, Hoseok and Jungkook- return to their dorm from their school.

"How was the match today, Jungkookie?" Namjoon asks him while ruffling his long hair. Jungkook always likes to keep his hair long, so that no one see his Bambi eyes and call him a baby. He hates that.

"It was amazing, hyung!" Jungkook gives him that toothy grin and walks forward.

"Aigoo, our Jungkookie!!" Hoseok pinches his cheeks, "Where's Suju-- oh right... Extra classes.... Who's gonna pick her up, hyung?"

"Yoongi," Seokjin informs him, "He said he has a delivery there"

"Will Yoongi hyung remember that? You know right... He often--" Namjoon was about to express his concern when Seokjin tenses up, "Oh sh*t yes!! Let's go and remind him Namjoon!"

"Okay, you both go. Me and Kookie will head to our dorm," Hoseok waves at them as they walk away.

When they reach in front of their dorm, Jungkook and Hoseok widen their eyes when they see the door already open. They both exchange glances before Jungkook opens the door carefully, only to find a guy sleeping on his bed.

"INTRUDER!!!!! THIEF!!!!"

Jungkook and Hoseok scream, making the guy wake up in a jolt, looking at them with wide eyes, unable to process anything that's happening.

Seokjin and Namjoon rush in a hurry hearing them scream, "you kids-- what happened?!" Seokjin yells.

"H-hyung... There's a-a t-thief on K-Kookie's b-bed!" Hoseok stutters, pointing at the new guy while he gasps and jumps up, "WHAT?!! N-no no!!!! I'm no thief!!! I'm the--"

Namjoon groans and gives a death glare to Hoseok and Jungkook, "He is not a thief!!! New trainee... Remember?"

They all stare at each other and make a 'oh' face. The new trainee's face lights up and he nods, "yes yes!!! I'm the new trainee!!"

"Oh haha...," Hoseok laughs awkwardly and apologises, "Sorry brother, i thought you were....ah, nevermind!!"

They enter the dorm slowly and quietly, Hoseok momentarily bowing at the new trainee and apologising for the misunderstatement.

"Excuse me...," Jungkook speaks out to the new guy, "you're sleeping on my bed..."

"Ah...," the new guy stands up abruptly and apologises, "Sorry--"

"Hey, you can sit by the edge, it's alright!" Jungkook gives him a warm smile.

The four boys take a while to fresh up, change into comfortable clothes, and sit around with the new guy to introduce themselves and have a small conversation.

"Well, hello dear! We heartily welcome you to our dorm!" Namjoon grins and welcomes him.

Jungkook feels a strange feeling looking at the guy. He is so oddly familiar, though it was the first time they're meeting. Do I know him? Why does he look like someone i know?

"How old are you, kid?" Seokjin asks him.

"Ah... I'm 16," he gives his boxy smile at the older one.

"Oooo, you're younger than us! Well, most of us. Where are you from?" Hoseok asks him.

"I'm from Daegu, from the beautiful countryside," he says proudly.

"Ah, Daegu.... We've another guy from there. Btw, you're V right? Bang PD had told me--" Namjoon was speaking when he gets interrupted by the new guy.

"What?! V?! Who's that?!!" He exclaims, as his face twists.

"Huh? You're not--"

"Oppaa!!! We're back!!" The door suddenly opens, revealing Soojin and Yoongi. But as soon as her eyes fall on the new guy, her smile fades away and she widens her eyes. She can't believe it! She turns and looks at Yoongi- he has the same blank expression as hers. He was shocked to see him too. He never thought that this guy would be interested in music.

The new guy gasps as he stares at both of them.

"YOU?!" Soojin and the new guy exclaim at the same time, their voices merging and creating an echo, resonating through the room.

The other boys, look at each other, unable to understand anything that is happening at present.

The guy couldn't stop his tears from falling down. He sobs and wipes his tears as he rushes towards Soojin to pull her in a tight hug. Unfortunately, Jungkook was fast enough to come in between them and push the guy away. He ain't letting any unknown guy near his Soojin! The guy is left momentarily fazed before he snarls and glares at Jungkook, "HOW DARE YOU!!!"

"Look where you're coming!", Jungkook scoffs, "I ain't letting you near her this easily!"

"Jung--," Soojin senses it'll lead to nothing but a complete disaster. She tries to stop them but before she could it had already taken a worse turn.

The new guy grabs Jungkook by the collar of his shirt, fuming in anger and yelling at his face, "How dare you say that?!! Who tf are you to her?! Who know who I'm?! I'm her brother!!!"

"Oppa--" she frowns and tries to stop them but gets interrupted continuously.

"Bruh, you think you'll tell me a stupid lie and I'll believe it? She has no brother--"

"YOU SON OF A BI--"

The new guy was about to punch Jungkook when Yoongi stops them, "You both, stop this sh*t!"

The new guy, furious seconds ago, widens his eyes seeing Yoongi, "H-hyung??"

"Bruh, what's going on here kids?! Why are you both fighting like hell?!" Seokjin yells being frustrated by the chaos while Yoongi gestures him to stop. He sighs and says, "Jungkook, he IS Suju's brother, Kim Taehyung."

Jungkook widens his eyes. Taehyung. Yes, he has heard that name from Soojin before. His cheeks heat up in embarrassment.

"Tae, this is Suju's best friend, Jeon Jungkook"

"Bruh, is this that jerk? Your boy best friend?!" Taehyung says while walking towards Soojin and pulling her in a tight hug.

"Oppa please... Stop it!" She pouts and tells him.

"Suju....," Jungkook whispers her name, making her glance at him, "is he.... Is he really--"

"C'mon Kookie! Can't you see our faces, the similarity? We almost look like twins!" Oh right! Now he gets it. He exactly looks like the male version of Soojin. Those same eyes and same jawline, now he realised why he seemed so oddly familiar!

Jungkook zones out for a while, cursing at himself for his misunderstanding. He wasn't wrong though. He was just protecting her, from an unknown guy that he was unaware of being Soojin's brother. He comes out of his thoughts when he hears Taehyung's bitter remarks about him, "Sissy, you better stay away from this guy! He's not good for you!! Like how dare he huh?!!" He flares up, glaring at Jungkook while Soojin just taps his shoulder, "Oppa please! You don't--"

Before she could finish speaking, he already leaves the room.

And things go by like this for a couple of months. Jungkook and Taehyung being sole enemies. Well, it was not Jungkook but Taehyung who thought like that. Each and every time he would pass by him, he wouldn't fail to give a bitter remark, making Jungkook feel guilty. Soojin was frustrated. She doesn't know whom to support, when the fight is between her dearest cousin and her best friend! She knows Jungkook overreacted but it's not his fault. He was just protecting her, being unaware of Taehyung's identity whereas Taehyung....as always, over-sensitive and protective regarding his baby sister. It's not just Soojin, but the older guys as well, who were frustrated with this ongoing drama.

"You--" Taehyung points at Jungkook, "you better stay away from my baby! I'll break your bones into pieces then--"

Jungkook shuts his eyes and sighs in frustration, being used to hearing these bitter things.

Seokjin groans, "Yah Tae! When would you stop these things huh?"

"Never!!" He sulks up and folds his arms.

"Bruh, you both!!! Just go on a walk, go go!!" Seokjin gestures them in anger and walks away, while Yoongi eyes the boys and rolls his eyes.

Soojin shuts her eyes close. Oh god!! Why? Why did you do this? Please!! Please make it all right! I can't choose between my best friend and my brother!!

A week later:

After dance practice was over, the teens moved to their dorm. Seokjin and Yoongi got into cooking , Hoseok cleaning the room and Namjoon going through his lyric book. Soojin looked for her brother and her best friend but..... Both of them were missing!!! How can it be? Both at the same time? Well, Taehyung had some friends living nearby but Jungkook? Where is he?

She gets worried and secretly steps out of the dorm to look for him. To her surprise, she hears two boys laughing and giggling in the distance. It was around 8 at night and the alleyway was dark, she could only see the two figures coming towards her under the dim light of the streetlight.

"For real bro!!!! You're so cute!! Hahaha!!!"

"Ah hyung!! Stop teasing me!!"

That deep voice and a soft voice.... It sounds too familiar.. she widens her eyes when she realises the source. Tae oppa and..... Jungkook?!!!!! How can it be?!!

She squints her eyes to make her vision clearer. She's too shocked to believe it. When they get closer, it clearly reveals that the two guys are none other than Taehyung and Jungkook. Yes... It's them!!! But how?!! It's a miracle!!

She takes steps towards them and calls out their names, "Oppa..... Kookie...." They both stop laughing and snap their heads in her direction. Soojin observed their red and flushed faces. Are they drunk?! Hey no no! They're minors!!

"Hey Suju ahh!!! Hahaha....see--" Taehyung points at the big packet of rice cakes, "We both won!!" Won? What is he talking about? She frowns being confused, "This guy-- your best friend, is so cute!!!"

"Ah...," Soojin just awkwardly laughs. What's going on with them?! Are they really drunk or what?!

"Hey no hyung!! Please don't tease me.... Hahaha..." Jungkook wipes of tears from his eyes, that possibly formed due to continuous laughing. He huffs to catch up some breaths, "For real Suju... Your brother... Damn!! He's a joker!!"

"Haha, if I'm a joker, you're a Bambi!!"

"Ah okay okay you both," she gestures them, "let's go in."

When she enters the dorm, she sees Seokjin and Yoongi gossiping about something in the corner, right before Taehyung calls out to them, "Hyung! We're back!! And guess what! We both won hahaha!!!"

Seokjin and Yoongi awkwardly laughs, "Ah... Good....," when they notice Soojin, their mouths go dry and they look everywhere except for her eyes. Wow.... She just had to come right now...

"Ah you, Jungkook" Taehyung points at him, "you better protect my baby from every other boy like this, okay? Yea, but not from me!" He says proudly, "My Suju loves me the most!!" He looks at her with hopeful eyes. She couldn't help but smile and nod.

"Okay, Jungkook come with me. I wanna chat with you more!!" Taehyung drags Jungkook with him.

And here Soojin... All left in a maze of confusion. She feels like she's attending a maths class after days of being absent. None of the events are connective with each other. She stares at Seokjin and Yoongi and observes their suspicious behaviour. With their backs turned to her, they're back to their gossips, much like those women of a neighborhood. It has to be them! They must have done something.

"Jin oppa, Yoongi oppa... You both have done something, haven't you?" She crosses her arms over her chest as she stares at them.

Seokjin and Yoongi freeze at their spot, hearing Soojin. They stare at her, unsure if they want to share it. They glance at each other and sigh before speaking. "Yeah, we did," Yoongi says poking his inner cheek, "c'mon!!! Their bickering was paining my ears!! I couldn't even sleep properly!!" He groans, "Jungkook you are this, you are that," he mimics Taehyung.

Soojin giggles, "but what exactly you did? What were they talking about winning?"

"Ah, we just told them we're out of rice cakes to cook tteokkbokki, your favourite dish. We told them, who would go to the CVS and bring a packet first, loves you the most. And yeah..... The war began...," Seokjin explains.

"I called Jungkook back so that Tae could reach first, but...," Yoongi smirks, " I took out money from Tae pocket and put it into Jungkook's pocket so that he can pay for it."

Soojin raises her eyebrows and claps, "Woow.... Genius. From where did you get these ideas, huh?!!"

Both the older guys glance at each other and smirk, "Worldwide Handsome and..."

"King Yoongi duo"

And the three break out laughing.

Finally, everything was alright and peaceful now. Soojin felt like her life is complete. It feels magical and both chaotic living with these guys. But with them, she finds her peace. She starts getting over those traumas and miseries of her childhood. She is happy, genuinely happy. She never felt like this before.

I hope it always stays like this. My brothers, they're my everything.

But will life be fair with her? Or is there another hurricane coming by...?
