Pete's POV
We arrived at the capital of Tommy's World. Tommy City.
Boy, was it humongous... probably because I'm an egg.
It was a very flamboyant city. The buildings were tall and colorful. The people were friendly. The flowers at the park were blooming. The street lights were bright and the cars were just marvelous.

This is the opposite of London. I wish I could live here my whole life.. but not live as an egg of course. Maybe, I can bring Karen, Emma, and the lads o'er here!

My thoughts were stopped when I heard a loud grumble. My stomach. Kevin and Doc looked at my direction with funny grins on their faces.

"Hey, you're probably hungry, let's get something to fill up that tiny wittle egg belly of yours!" Kevin poked me and laughed.

Rex barked, I guess he was hungry too.

"I know where to eat, my friend owns the place!"

Kevin lead us inside a small diner.
He found an empty booth that we can all sit on.
I looked at the menu and sighed because I'm too small to eat any of these meals. I don't think I'll be able to even eat a kid's meal.

Doc looked at me and noticed my sad face. "I can give you some of my food, I'll just cut it into small pieces for you... dude."
"Thanks" I chuckled.
Man, he was awkward... but not as awkward as me.

Then, a pretty brunette walked to our table and gave Kevin a hug.
"How's it going Kev? It's been long since you've came to my diner."

I guess this was the friend Kevin was talking about.

"I'm sorry, I had lots of things going recently... I missed you Sally."

Sally gave Kevin another hug and petted Rex. She finally looked at the rest of us.
"How rude of me, my name is Sally Simpson... I've never seen you here in the city."

"Yeah, I live inside a cottage located in a forest... it's by the Great Lake. I'm a doctor, just call me Doc." He winked at her.

Sally blushed and nodded her head. "Sounds like a great place, Doc."

Kevin looked down at me and new that Sally didn't know I was actually a man in an egg's body. He knew that she thought I was a regular egg.

"Sally, do you have time? There's someone I need to show you."

He slowly grabbed me and lifted me up to Sally's face. She looked like she was about to faint.

"Don't faint! And don't panic... The Pinball Wizard turned my friend into an egg, Doc, Rex, and I are going to help him."

"Hi I'm-" That's all I managed to say before she interrupted me.

"You look familiar..." She gasped and took me away from Kevin's hands.
"You're Pete Townshend!" She said loudly, everyone in the dinner turned to face us.

"Shhhh!" Kevin said. He looked at the people inside the dinner.
"Pfft. That's not Pete Townshend! It's just an egg!" He said, making the people giggle.

A fat old man walked up to Sally.
"Ms. Simpson! Stop fooling around and get back to work!" He gave us an evil look and walked to the kitchen.

Sally sighed and took our orders.
"Ok is that all?"

We all nodded our heads.

"Alright, I'll be back with your food." She smiled and walked to the kitchen.

Kevin was staring at her for a pretty long time. Like he wasn't paying attention to Rex biting his curly hair. Hmm. He obviously likes her.

"Looks like someone's got a crush!" I smirked at Kevin, making Doc laugh.

"Who? Sally? No we're just friends..." He started to blush.

"Then why are you blushing, lover boy?" Doc said pinching his cheeks.

"Shhhh-Shut up! She's coming!" Kevin said embarrassed.

Sally walked to our table with plates of food in her hands.
"A cheeseburger for Kevin, chicken salad for Doc and Pete... and I found some dog food for Rex!" She rubbed Rex's belly and he licked her in the face.

"Thanks Sally!" Kevin said in a soft voice.
"THANKS SALLY" The Doc and I said, mocking Kevin's voice.

He gave us a death glare.

Sally giggled and went to take someone else's order.

We ate while talking about Kevin's crush and how we are going to find the Pinball Wizard.

Eating while being an egg feels really uncomfortable. I can't wait to be human again.

When we finished eating, Kevin gave Sally the amount of money he needed to play for the food. She thanked him and waved goodbye to us.

As we were headed out, Kevin walked to Sally and gave her a quick hug.
She blushed and asked Kevin if he wanted to go to the park someday with her.

"That's sounds great! Maybe this weekend?"

"Of course! And you can bring Rex too!"

Kevin nodded his head and they waved goodbye to each other. Ahh young love.

As we were walking around the city, I was thinking how the lads were doing. They're probably writing some great lyrics and maybe, making a new album!
