Queen Amalia glows in blue to meet Ukrainian President in Herraden

QUEEN AMALIA was back on her home turf of Herraden today after a whirlwind couple of weeks in all corners of the globe. The wife of King Miguel stunned in blue as she joined her husband to welcome Ukrainian president Petro Poroshenko to Herraden.

Queen Amalia of Herraden, 30, is regarded as one of the most beautiful and stylish royals around.

Stepping out today she greeted the president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, 52, and his wife, Maryna Poroshenko, stunning in a blue dressa ensemble. 

Along with her husband Miguel, 31, Amalia welcomed the Ukrainian first couple to the Palacio de la Zarzuela, their official residence in the outskirts of Herraden.

After a busy couple of weeks including trips to Geneva and the Caribbean, Amalia looked glowing and relaxed, wearing a tight, navy blue figure-hugging dress.

Opting for a summery makeup look, the mother-of-one wore her signature smoky eye in shades of subtle shades of purple and pink, with a nude-pink lip.

The Herradenish royals were welcoming the Ukranian president and his wife to the palace as part of their state visit to Spain.

The Ukranian First Lady opted for a look contrasting to that of Amalia’s more laid-back, summery approach, wearing a bold, 80’s style black fitted midi dress.

Featuring statement shoulder pads Maryna accessorised the elegant look with a stop necklace and heeled court shoes.

"There she is, Queen Amalia 'tis a pleasure to see you again" said Antonia who curtsied infront of her old friend once she had walked down the stairs.

"Oh Antonia, I've missed you so much" Amalia acknowledged who hugged her friend.

"I've missed you to, oh and I'm under strict instructions to give you a big hug from my mom." Antonia said.

Antonia then hugs her friend and the two of them chat for a few moments, catching up on various things. When Antonia's bag's had been loaded into the car.

"So Antonia, are you ready for a new life?"

"Hell to the yeah, bring it on."

"Let's go."

Then Antonia and Amalia got into the car and sped away to the palace.

A few minutes later they arrive outside a door, just down the corridor from Amalia's suite. "Where are we?" Antonia asked.

"Go inside and see."

And so Antonia walked inside to find herself in a beautiful room, complete with 4 poster bed, a couch and a small table, it also had 2 other doors going off it.

"Is this mine?"

"Uh-huh, I thought you might like it you were somewhere a bit closer to me, so I had them do up this room, through that door there is your bathroom, complete with a shower as well as a bath and through this door..." Amalia said.

Amalia then leads her friend through the second door and into a walk in closet, much like the one Amalia had in her own room.

"Is this seriously mine?"

"Yup, I remember how you said you liked mine, so I had them build this, its almost exactly the same, I've even bought you a few new clothes."

"You didn't have to do that."

"I know, it's just a couple of gowns for you state events and such."

"Thank you Amalia, thank you, thank you, thank you".

"You're welcome, well I bet you're tired from the plane so I'm gonna let you get settled in, maybe have a nap and then later I'll tell you the game plan for the next few days."

"Cool, see you later."

"Bye and Antonia."

"Yeah."

"It's good to see you again."

"You too."

Amalia then left and went back to her own suite where she sat on the couch and curled up, reading a good book, after a short while her mobile rang, she answered it and it was Miguel.

"Hello Sweetie, can you hear me?" Miguel asked.

"Hi Honey, yeah I can hear you, what's up, where are you?" Amalia asked.

"I'm in Moscow, I went to a museum earlier." Miguel said.

"That's great." Amalia said.

"So how is everything in Herraden?" Miguel asked.

"Great, my first 6 months have gone well, no significant problems and Tonia is being the sweetest baby ever."

"That's good, so what are you doing in the near future?"

"Not much, just getting used to a new P.A."

"Antonia, finished up her business in America then."

"Yeah, she flew in a couple of hours ago."

"You're happy to have her back aren't you?"

"Yeah, I missed her."

"So is there anything else?" Miguel asked.

"Ummm, yeah there's a state banquet in 3 weeks for the Prime Minister's birthday, I was hoping you could come back and attend." Amalia said.

Miguel and Amalia then say goodbye to each other, leaving Amalia to go check on baby Antonia.

A few hours later, after she had given Antonia enough time to settle in Amalia went to see her friend, knocking on the door first before being allowed in.

"Hey Antonia, how you settling in?"

"Great, this room is ridiculous."

"I know right, I designed it similar to my suite 'cause I remember you said you liked it."

"You are amazing, you know that right?"

"Well duh, I am the Queen."

The two friends then laugh before going to sit down together on the couch.

"So, seeing Miguel will have to wait until he gets back."

"Get's back from where?" Antonia asks.

"He's got a business engagements in Moscow for a few days."

"Oh okay, well that means the queen gets to run the palace while the king is away." Antonia said.
