Chapter 15
We were currently driving to the dog breeder's house. Freddie was chattering to himself excitedly next to me, dad was driving and humming along to the soft music coming from the radio, mum was also in the front reading him the directions for the house and I was in the back listening to music on my iPod. I skipped to the next song. "American Beauty, American Psycho" by Fall Out Boy. I started screaming the words loudly out the window. An old lady shuffling past with her trolley noticed me. She stared in fear and horror, before walking away as quick as her little legs could carry her. Laughing, I turned my attention back to my family who were all staring at me with puzzled faces (well, except for dad who had his eyes fixed on the road). After about five minutes we arrived at a HUGE country house. As soon as mum rang the bell I could hear dogs yapping from behind the door. It opened, and a Middle Aged lady smiled and welcomed us into her home. The massive utility room was where the dogs were kept. In the corner was a large pen containing four brown and white puppies, all sleeping and tucked up with each other. The woman, who I found out was called Kate, opened the pen which woke up the dogs. They ran over as soon as they saw us.
"So are you looking for a boy or girl?"
"Well we were hoping to get a boy..." Mum asked.
"Of course, we only have one so you are in luck," she said carefully picking up the biggest puppy. It was adorable! She shut the pen again and took us into the living room with the boy dog.
The minute she set it down, the dog ran over and sniffed Freddie. He giggled and gently stroked it.

"I know! What about Charles? You know, like King Charles?" I suggested. We were driving home with the dog on my lap, thinking of names.
"Well...we'll see. Do you have any ideas Freddie? He is mainly your dog."
"Um...what about Spencer?"
"Aw, Spencer! That's cute!"
"Yes it is. Spencer then, is everybody okay with that?" Three "yep"s were replied. We soon arrived home and set Spencer down in the hall. He ran around crazily, sniffing everywhere. We had to put down a bit of newspaper in the kitchen as he wasn't allowed outside until he'd had the last of his injections tomorrow. The first think he did was wee on the floor in the dining room.
"No Spencer!" Freddie yelled, causing mum to rush in and Spencer to rush out before he got caught.
"Why did I agree to this?" Mum sighed, cleaning up the mess and going to find the puppy. Luckily the next " thing" he did was on the newspaper. The rest of the evening was spent playing with him. We had already bought food, bowls, a bed and also a small chewy bone, a small tennis ball and a 15cm tug rope. It was so cute! I decided to leave Freddie to play with Spencer and went upstairs to go on wattpad until dinner.
A/N sorry for the short chapter, but I just really want to go get to the next part in the story-are you ready for a huge twist? ;)
