Kenyatta hospital was jamed with patients. The fit ones moved from one place to another in search of what I couldn't understand. Despite of the large population, it was silent as always.

I sat quietly on a bench waiting for my turn. I was holding a wooden tag written NO.18. I still had a long way to go. The first patient was being attended to by the doctor as the rest of us sat our mouth sealed. Jade had taken Lincolin to his doctor as I remained behind to dance to my own music.
  
A wail of a lady divided my attention to the entrance. She was walking slowly with her hands caressing her back, stopped at one point threw her arms in the air energetically, stumped her feet and nodded her head in pain. That's a mother! I thought to myself.

"Nurse! My waist is on fire, my legs aren't doing their work anymore and this thing inside me is angry!" She yelled while rubbing her waist.

Her appearance said it all. She was a young woman in her early twenties and was followed by a young man whose reactions were worrying. He was carrying a safari bag and I just guessed he was her husband. I wish I could have been like her. Being accompanied by my husband for a safe delivery.

Two nurses hurried past our bench and held her leading her out of our sight. I sighed and brought back my attention. Life comes from far.   I felt bored, the patient was still in with the doctor and I wondered what they were discussing about.

An urge to hold another self meeting  burnt within me bringing about a shiver. I felt like  reuniting the four before my turn but another thought hit my mind making me hesitant.

What if they demand for something I can't afford?

I recall the last time I held it, none of them was ready for a defeat except for the blood who agreed on anything and everything they said with a broad smile. It was healthy for them anyway. I swallowed hard and closed my eyes for a start. I gathered them together then the meeting came to a start.

For the first time the body was relaxed. It was happy for the reduction of the desire. It was now reduced to 30%. A great improvement!
The punishment was not too much as before and this made it leap for joy.

Heart ooh poor heart! It's demands were not fulfilled yet. It still demanded for the same thing as before. It also complained of too much burdens imposed on it and this wasn't of any help.

The mind on the other hand still demanded for something to keep it busy. That thing was yet to be found or let me say invented. Being in the presence of Clane each and every minute worried it. Two names were also clearly written on it the stranger and Lincolin. It couldn't get off them.

The blood still stood on its decision, it would go with their cooperation.This time, there were no chaos as before but the heart refused to follow any of them. It was ready to stand on its on.

A decision made by the heart, not even the mind can change it.

    "Number 18!" A voice cut my meeting short.

  Did I take that long? I muttered to myself stretching out.

I knocked before pushing the door open and a sweet scent of perfume hit my nostrils with vigour. I inhaled before letting my eyes wonder around the small but beautiful office in amusement. The walls were Painted green different from all the hospitals I had ever visited before. The room was neatly arranged with piles of files  carefully placed on a big table that separated two black chair facing each other. Some other files where arranged on a long shelf according to their numbers and colours giving it a pleasing appearance.

  " You may have a seat please", the doctor's voice went but  concentrating on a certain paper.

  "Thanks sir," I thanked him pulling the chair.

  " Your name?" he asked with his eyes still glued on the paper immediately I dropped my butt on the chair.

  " Shannon Kami Wanjala sir", I replied in a monotone.

" Repeat please, I couldn't hear you",he went again.

  " Shannon Kami Wanjala", I  said but this  time in a loud tone.

He raised his head and my eyes came into contact with his blue ones. Rehy? What a surprise!
