Chapter FOUR!

Shout out time! Everyone go read watt_geek's story. Thank you! Now for the story..

Tris's POV

"Christina. I need you to bring the group over to my house." I say through the phone.

"Tris. Is everything alright?" She asks worried.

"No. Just come over." I reply

"Ok we will be there in 10 minutes." With that I hang up. I lean back on the couch and look at Mason. He is sitting on the floor staring intently at the TV while his Spiderman cartoons are playing. Which he has a little addiction to. The doorbell rings within 10 minutes. Just on time. I open the door and the group appears.

"What's the matter Tris?" Shauna asks worried. I motion them into the living room and they all get situated. We sit there not talking for a minute. Lynn then breaks the silence.

  "What's up Tris?"

I narrow my eyes at the guys accusingly,"You three told Four about Mason." All of the girls gasp and glare at them. Will and Uriah hold their hands up in defense.

"Uriah and I didn't say anything. It was all Zeke who spilled the beans." I turn my death glare over to Zeke. He shrinks back.

"I'm sorry! I didn't mean to! Four brought up the fact that he knew Mason was your son so I just assumed he knew that he was the father." He defends.

  "You idiot!" I exclaim.

"What is going to happen when he comfronts you about this?" Marlene asks.

  "He already did." I reply.

Christina gasps,"No way! What did he say? Is he going to help you with Mason? Are you two going to get back together? Are-"

"Christina! Shut up. He already did, and let's just say that he wan't to happy about it."

  "Details Tris." Shauna pushes.

"Well to sum it up. He blammed everything on me. He was really angry that I just ran off with Mason without even telling him that he has a child." I say quietly.

"What a jerk." Lynn spits out.

"Yeah. I mean you were scared you didn't know what to do. Let's face it he is really unpredictable at times so you didn't know how he would react." Marlene says.

"You were also doing the right thing. I mean you took him out of a sticky situation that would change the rest of his life." Christina adds.

"Woah woah woah." Uriah butts in,"You seriously can't be going against Four now."

"I mean technically it is all his fault." Shauna says.

Will shakes his head in disagreement,"It is equally both of their faults. The only differnce is that Four didn't know what so ever that he had a child of his own. You left without even telling him about it. Heck you left without even telling him that you were leaving." I look down.

"Why are you guys defending him? Tris is the one that had to go through worse." Christina states.

"Someone has to be on his side." Zeke replies,"Yeah Tris had to go throught the trouble of having to take care of a baby, and don't get me wrong. I'm not saying that it is easy, but Four went through difficulties as well. He was a mess when you left. He blammed everything on himself. He thought he was incapable of love. He tried to force us to stay away from him because he didn't want to hurt us like he thought he hurt you. Don't be blamming all of these on Four."

I sigh and put my head in my hands,"Did I really put him through that much. I'm such an idiot. He was already broken before and now I just rubbed salt into the wound. What do I do to fix this?"

"Let him spend at least a day with you and Mason." Uriah suggests,"That way you can patch up your relationship with him while he gets to know his own child."

I look up,"You think that will work?"

Shauna nods,"That's actually not a bad idea. It will at least make him feel included in Mason's life."

"The only thing is that he probably hates me so he won't pick up any of my calls." I say

Zeke smirks,"Then we bring you to him."

"Do you know where he is right now?" I ask.

"Last time I checked he went back to the apartment." He answers.

"Let's go get Fourtris back together!" Will exclaim jumping up. I grab Mason and his car seat then hop into Zeke's car with the guys. Surprisingly we got there within 15 minutes.

"I thought you apartment was more into the city of Chicago." I say confused.

"Our orignial apartment was, but when Four got famous we moved closer to our friends and to a much bigger apartment." Uriah replies. I stare in awe as we pull into a gate blocking a huge modern looking building with windows all around.

"This is an apartment complex!?" I exclaim.

Will chuckles,"Yeah. When Four brought us here we couldn't believe at first either."

"If you like the outside then you should see the inside." Zeke says. I take Mason out of his seat and follow them to the elevator. They click the top floor and enter a code.

"Why do you need a code for that?" I ask curiously.

"For security reasons. The top floor is the most expensive level and home to the famous Four. If we didn't have a code for the top floor people would be barging in." Uriah explains. The door then opens revealing the most beautiful place I have ever seen.

The apartment has beautiful dark brown hardwood floors. The walls are a very light gray to where in the light it looks white. The place is decorated with black furniture. There is also a big spiral staircase leading to upstairs which has a balcony over the living room. The thing that really draws me is the huge window in the middle of the living room. I walk over to it and get a clear view of all of Chicago.

 "Wow." I gasp,"This is amazing."

  "Isn't it?" Will asks.

"Why would he buy an apartment that is so high up?" I ask,"Four hates heights."

"He does." Zeke conforms,"He mentioned once that being this high up reminds him of you because you were so brave." I sit there in awe. He risked living with one of his fears just because it reminds him of me?

"Apparently Four isn't back yet so we will give you a tour of the rest of the place." Uriah says. I nod as they lead me around. Everything as expected is just as amzing as the entrance. May I say this is big for an apartment. It's even bigger than a lot of houses. They even have an indoor swimming pool with blue lights! Inside an apartment! They then stop infront of a french door.

"We have saved the best for last. This quite possibly the best room out of the entire house. We thought it was only fair to let Four have it since he bought the place." Will says and swings the doors open. It really is breath taking.

The room is huge with a black bed and furniture with a flat screen TV. The floors are white marble. To match with the rest of the rooms it has a big window, but it sure is the biggest out of all of them. The window goes from the floor up to the ceiling. The window is the wall. If I thought that the living room's window had an amazing view this one is even better. You can see all of Chicago and The edge of the suburbs where the rest of us live.

"Defiantly the best room." I agree. Uriah nods then instantly makes a face,"What?" I ask.

"I have to go to the bathroom!" He exclaims and runs out the door. (A/N: Sorry I just had to do that. They never go to the bathroom in books, movies, TV shows. I mean they have to go sometime.)

After a couple of minutes Uriah runs back into the room. I raise my eyebrows,"You ok there?"

  He nods,"Yep! I'm good."

"Hello!? Anyone home!?" A voice shouts. A voice I know all to well.

"Yeah! Be down in a minute buddy! We have visters!" Zeke shouts back down.

I look at them nervously,"What if he won't want to talk to me? I mean if I were him I wouldn't want to either."

Will shakes his head,"He said he wanted to be apart of Mason's life. If he really does want to then he will talk to you."

I sigh,"Okay... Let's go." We walk downstairs and find Four sitting at the kitchen counter shaking his head at a magazine. Apparently he senses someone is here because he speaks up.

"I don't see how these people are some how around me at all times I mean can I have-" He stops when he looks up and sees me. His eyes instantly drift to Mason who is sitting paciently in my arms.

"What are you doing here?" He asks. I try to speak but nothing comes out. He tilts his head to the side and raises his eyebrows for an answer. Luckily Uriah comes to my rescue.

"She came here to try to fix things between you two."

"And to give you a chance to be in Mason's life." Zeke adds.

Tobias turns to me,"So first you run away because you don't want me in his life. Now you come to me trying to be in his life."

"So you don't want to be apart of his life?" I ask

His eyes widen,"No of course I do. You are just so confusing."

I nod,"So I've been told. Please just spend the day with Mason and I. I'm not expecting you to forgive me. I just want to give you the chance to be the father in Mason's life." He looks over at Mason.

"Do you want to hold him?" I ask. He looks up hesitantly at me but nods. I grin and walk over to Tobias. He picks Mason up gently like he could break any second. Mason looks up at Tobias and instantly takes a liking to him. Once he give one of his signature smiles the same one breaks out onto Tobias face. I then get a smile on my face watching them. Mason has the same exact smile as his father.

"Adorable isn't he?" I ask. Tobias doesn't look up from him. He only nods.

"So." I push,"Are you coming?" He stares at Mason for a little longer then looks up at me.

"Okay let's go." He grabs his jacket and phone then starts to head out with Mason still in his hand.

"Well that went better than I thought." I hear Will say as we get in the elevator. Yeah. I guess it did.
