Chapter 35

A/N: Ok you guys this is it, the last chapter of this story. I will save all of my thank you crap for the end. Let's just get on with this chapter, shall we?

Tris's POV

"Tris, you alright?" I hear Shauna ask, I look up and see her leaning on the doorway looking at me concerned.

"Y-y-yeah why?" I stutter out,

"Well I mean when I walked in here you were just sitting there with your head in your hands," she says and sits on the couch next to me,"Want to talk about it?"

"Well," I start off with a sigh,"The problem is, I don't know myself. I can't comprehend any of my thoughts right now."

"Maybe it's just pre-wedding jitters, which is completely normal." She answers.

"Yeah maybe. It's just, do you think I'm doing the right thing?" I ask.

"What do you mean, getting married?"

"Yeah like do you think I should do this?"

"Tris, I'm not going to force you into doing anything but you need to ask yourself one question.

"Do you love him?"

"Yes of course I do." I answer almost instantly.

"Without a doubt? Can you see yourself with any other person?"

"Without a doubt I love him. I can't imagine myself with any other person, I want to be with him forever."

"Then there you go, you've got your answer. You just said you wanted to be with him forever, then of course this is the right thing to do. It wouldn't be the right thing to do if you didn't want to continue your life with him. Tris, your obviously nervous every girl on her wedding day is. The fact though is that you love Four and he's obviously madly in love with you. Don't feel like you're making the wrong decision for being with the one you love for the rest of your life."

I nod and think for a little,"You're right. I do love him so much, more than anything. I don't know what I was thinking I guess I almost felt obligated to marry right now because of Mason. I do want to live with Tobias for the rest of my life. I will go on with the wedding."

I hear a squeal at the door. I look over and see Christina, Marlene, and Lynn standing there. I furrow my eyebrows in confusion when I see Lynn, she looks almost concerned. She's biting her lip obviously deep in thought while she's staring off into the distance.

"Lynn, you alright?" I ask.

She instantly snaps out of it,"Yeah sorry I didn't have much sleep last night I kind of blanked out. Nothing to worry about."

I look at her for a couple of seconds then nod,"Ok." Suddenly my mom and dad appear by the door holding Mason.

"Mom dad!" I exclaim while running towards them and giving them a huge hug with Mason squished between us in my mom's arms.

"Tris! You look absolutely stunning!" My mom exclaims while looking at my dress, hair, and makeup.

"You're getting old way too fast stop it! You're not allowed to." My dad says jokingly. I laugh and give him another hug.

"Don't I get one too?" I perk up at the voice.

"Caleb!" I exclaim and tackle him in a bear hug.

He chuckles and hugs me back,"Hey sis. You ready to go?"

I give him a strange look,"It's time already?"

"Yeah! Now come on you don't want to be late to your own wedding now do you?" Marlene says and shoves my bouquet into my hands while Christina fixes my veil. We all walk down the hall and stop in front of two beautiful double doors. The girls stand in front of me with the guys by their sides, then Mason, who is the ring bearer with my mom to guide him down. Lastly there's my dad and me.

"Dad are you about to cry?" I ask as I look at his glassy eyes.

"What? No," He defends. I give him a look and he sighs,"Maybe a little. I mean you can't blame me, I'm practically giving away my little girl."

I smile at him and give him a hug,"I'll always be your little girl though."

Right on cue music starts playing. Slowly the guys and girls start filing out in a straight line, then my mom and Mason which is followed with a bunch of awes of everyone. Finally the music changes and I can hear everyone stand up from their seats. The doors in front of me slowly open and my eyes instantly find the pair of dar, blue eyes I love.

Tobias's POV

The music changes and the doors open revealing Tris and her father. My heart stops when I see her looking more beautiful than ever. After each step she takes closer to me the more I start to lose my breath and I can swear that when she stopped in front of me I literally forgot how to breathe. Tris and I stand in front of each other, staring into each other eyes while our hands our tangled together. I can not believe that she is all mine.

The priest starts talking and that's when I remember something. I'm not ready for this, what am I doing here? I should've talked to her before the wedding. There us no way I'm rushing out of here right now and just leave her here. No way I love her too much to do that. I should just marry her right now, I do love her and even if I don't go on with the wedding I still want to be with her forever. I snap out of my thoughts and look at the love of my life that is standing in front of me.

"You alright?" She whispers to me.

I look at her nervously and then out at the crowd who is staring at us while smiling. I also notice some paparazzi taking pictures and filming also. Well I thought we denied them from coming in, but they're already in now. I look back at Tris nervously.

"Come with me. I have to talk to you real quick." I whisper to her. She gives me a weird look but I take her hand and run out the door of the church with her leaving a state of commotion behind us. As we get out to the steps of the church I sit down on them and signal her to sit down next to me.

"Tobias, what is going on?" She asks confused and slightly on edge.

"Tris. I have to ask you something and you have to answer honestly no matter what." I state.

"Ok?" She says with her eyebrows raised.

"Did you go through a little bit of doubt before you walked down the isle?" I ask her.

She looks worried for a second,"Did Shauna tell you?"

I shake my head,"No I just know you and I can tell when you've been second guessing something."

"I'm sorry Tobias. I love you so much and I-" I lean in and kiss her to shut her up.

"Tris. Let me speak." I say still an inch away from her face.

She nods,"Ok sorry, go ahead."

I smile slightly and lean back,"I'm going to be completly honest here. Do you know why the guys and I were late coming here?"

"I'm guessing you weren't doing what Lynn told me you guys were doing were you?" She asks.

I shake my head,"No we weren't. Lynn was kind enough to get us out of a sticky situation we were in."

She nods while biting her lip,"You were drunk last night weren't you?"

I nod,"I'm sorry Tris I really am. I promised myself that I wouldn't let the guys get me drunk this time, but I'm so freaking stupid to think that. I really wanted-" This time she shuts me up with a kiss.

"Tobias. I'm not mad at you, I kind of figured that you would've gone drinking anyways. I was just being a little controlling due to my nervousness for today. It's normal for you to go out and have fun the day before the wedding so don't think you did anything wrong."

"But that's not the only thing I wanted to talk to you about."

I makes a face and stares at me,"Please tell me you aren't about to tell me that you cheated on me."

"No!" I respond immediately,"I would never. It's more so what happened when we woke up this morning."

"What? You woke up on the other side of town?" She asks jokingly.

"Actually in a ditch in the middle of Oregon." I reply sheepishly.

"What?" She asks in disbelief.

"That's why we were so late. Luckily we had Lynn on the phone to help us. It's a long story and I will tell it to you later."

She nods taking this in,"You're here that's all that matters. You obviously went through a lot to get here."

I stare at her shocked for a couple of seconds,"You're not mad at me?"

"If you didn't tell me I would, but you did so I have nothing to be mad about. I can tell that you're sorry, so I forgive you."

"Theres just one last thing which is mainly why I brought you out here." I say hesitantly and look away. I can't say it while looking at her.

"What's wrong?" She asks nervously.

"I'm not sure if I'm ready to get married."

"So that's why you brought me out here?" She asks and I nod still not looking at her.

"I mean think about how immautre I am. I went out the night before my wedding, gotd drunk, and then blammed it all on my best friends. A mature person would take the blame, but I didn't do that. Instead I yelled at my friends and told them that I never want to have anything to do with them when we get back. Tris I love you so much and I always want to be with you, but don't you want to wait to marry me when I'm mature? Or maybe even marry someone who is mature right now..."

"Tobias look at me," Tris says while taking my face and forcing me to look at her,"You are in no way immautre. You blammed your friends because you were in a moment of panic. Admitting that you were wrong and claiming that you 'immature' proves that you are actually very mature. As for the guys, don't be mad at them. They were just trying to let you have fun on your last day of not being married. They only want what is best for you. Even though they mess up, a lot, they have the best intentions. I love you so much Tobias and I still will be honored to marry you. If you decide you're not ready, well then we will wait till you actually are. All I know is that I want to spend the rest of my life with you."

A smile appears on her face making one appear onto mine as well,"You really want to deal with me for the rest of your life?"

"There's nothing I'd rather do." She replies while leaning closer into me.

"Well who am I to let down a beautiful woman?" I ask while closing in the gap between us. I pull away and look at her in the eyes,"Well, what are we waiting for? We have our wedding to attend to."

*Later on in the church*

"Do you Tris Prior take Tobias Eaton to be your lawfully wedded husband?" The priest asks.

"I do." She replies with a huge grin on her face that still makes my knees weak even to this day.

"Do you Tobias Eaton takes Tris Prior as your lawfully wedded wife?"

"I do." I say, my cheeks hurting from smiling so much.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride." With that I pull her close to me and crash my lips against her. Cheers erupt but I can only focus on the most important person in my life. We pull apart from after what seems like forever.

"I love you Tris Eaton." I whisper in her ear as we turn to face the guests.

She turns to me with a bigger grin than before,"I love you too Tobias Eaton."

*Sorry! Another time laps to the wedding reception*

"Look at you two!!!!!" I hear Christina exclaim Tris and I turn around and see the entire group running towards us. We get engulfed into one huge group hug. I look over at Tris while she looks at me. We both start laughing while our friends are squeezing us to death.

"The wedding was so adorable!" Marlene coos.

"Yeah, even Lynn cried."

"Shauna!" Lynn exclaims while slapping her arm,"I told you not to tell anyone!"

"Oops sorry, it slipped." She replies nonchantly.

"Mommy! Daddy!" Mason exclaims while running out of Tris's mom's arms and jumps into both Tris and my arms.

"Hi baby." Tris greets and kisses him on the forehead.
