Chapter 32

A/N: Hey everyone! Please read my AN down below, it's kind of important. Thank you, now onto the story!

Tobias's POV

"Do we really have to go to this?" Will asks.

"Yes! We have to go to our high school reunion, it's important. Why don't any of you guys get that?" Christina asks frustrated.

"Because we don't want to see any of them again and if we wanted to we would, but the only people I actually liked in high school are here right now." Zeke answers.

"Pleaseeeee we have to go!" Christina begs.

"Fine! We will go, but we aren't staying the entire time. We will go there, say hi to the people we really don't care about anymore, and then leave. That's it." Tris compromises. Christina cheers in response while the rest of us groan.

"Come one guys lighten up, this will be fun! Maybe even Lynn will find a boyfriend!" Christina exclaims.

"Ha! Funny, you should be a comedian..... No" Lynn replies.

"Awwww is my sister still afraid of boys?" Shauna taunts.

"No, actually I am not. Do you wanna know why I haven't had a boyfriend? It's actually because-"

"Stop," Marlene cuts her off," No fighting. Let's just get through this reunion without any arguments, and then when we get back home you can fight all you want." I roll my eyes and look at the building in front of us. Our old high school. I think back to the way I acted, the things I did, and internally cringe. Throughout high school I was probably a jerk to every one of those people in the building.

I look back at the group and see that everyone is fighting again. Oh and in case you were wondering, no we didn't just leave Mason at home. He's at Tris's parents' house.

"Guys." I say, no one answers.

"Guys." They're still arguing.

"Guys!" I exclaim. Everyone stops and looks at me,"Stop fighting and let's just get this over with." They all nod and start to walk in the building. I sigh in relief and follow them in.

When we walk into the familiar cafeteria I see that it's filled with people sitting at huge round tables. Some are having awkward conversations, some are arguing, some are screaming about how they haven't seen each other in a long time, and some are laughing and having a good time.

As I look around I remember a lot of these faces. I remember the people I picked on, I remember the people I used to joke around with and played alongside them in football, and I see a lot of the girls that would throw themselves at me. I used to think that they were just girls and I can use them in anyway I wanted to, but seeing them now I realize how dumb I used to be. Some of them brought their husbands and are showing their friends pictures of their kids and homes.

"Are you guys ready?" Christina asks excited. We all nod. I wrap my arm around Tris's shoulder and we follow the group into the mass of people. When everyone sees me they all have mixed emotions on their faces. Some of them have looks of disgust and hatred, some of them have looks of happiness, and some of them just look happy to see me because I am famous.

"Come here." Christina says to the eight of us and leads us to a table with people sitting around it.

"Well if it isn't the fearless nine." One of the guys at the table says. That was what people called our group at the end of senior year.

I take in the the features of the four people, two guys and two girls, and seem to remember who they are. The guy who spoke was Tanner with whom I played on the football team with. He used to be good friends with Zeke, Uriah, and I. The other guy was Jack. I do remember that he was one of the poor souls I would pick on back in the day. The two girls were Claire and Bailey. Back in high school they were some of the girls that would throw themselves at me and I do remember taking up their offer a couple of times.

"Woah Tanner is that you!?" I exclaim.

He smirks,"In the flesh and blood." I must say he hasn't changed much. He still has his short blonde hair which is spiked up and he seems to have been keeping in shape.

"Dude! How have you been!?" Zeke exclaims and pulls him into a man hug.

"You know I've been great. Got a stunning wife at home who is watching my beautiful two month old baby girl."

"Wow man! Congrats!" Uriah exclaims.

"Please, sit down." Claire says gesturing to the nine seats open. Christina is the first to move and after a couple of seconds we all sit down as well.

"What about you three. How are you doing?" Christina asks them.

"Well Jack and I got married a year ago." Bailey says while hugging onto his arm.

"And I just got out of a long term relationship." Claire says.

"Oh my gosh. I'm so sorry!" Christina exclaims.

She just waves it off,"It's alright. We both wanted different things. Anyways, I'm happy to see you all are still together."

"Oh yeah I heard the news, about How Tris and Four are going to get married!" Bailey exclaims. This is to much like girl talk. I've never liked girl talk.

"Yeah, tomorrow actually." Tris says with excitement in her voice.

"That's awesome. You know I'm glad you are finally settling down," Jack says obviously directed to me,"You know I was sorry for you."

I sit there shocked,"Sorry for me? I felt sorry for you. All of those years picking on you must have sucked."

"Oh yeah they did, but I thought about it and realized that there was a reason you were like the way you were. I realized you must have been dealing with something in your life, but I didn't want to intrude by asking you about it. So I just let you go through with doing the things you did." Before I can say something someone else from another table speaks up.

"Yeah well I will never forgive him. Even if he did have something going on in his life that doesn't mean he can treat us however he wanted to." Other people start joining in. Some on my side and some against me.

"And that's our cue to go." Tris says and pulls me out of the building with our friends on our tail.

"Wait where is Lynn?" Uriah asks. We look around then spot her walking towards us slowly while smiling down at something on her phone.

Shauna gasps,"No way! Did you get someone's number!?" Lynn just blushes which answers her question. Well at least someone had fun. I must say, I hate high school reunions.

------------------------------------

"Remember don't do anything stupid." Tris says for the millionth time.

"I won't."

"And don't drink to much."

"I won't."

"And don't-"

"Tris. I got it, I won't do anything stupid. I promise,"I reassure her,"Just have fun with your girl friends and don't worry about me."

"It's not you I'm worried about, I trust you. It's Zeke and Uriah who tend to make you end up in stupid situations." She replies.

"Babe, I promise you I will keep them under control. Besides I got Will to help me out as well, go have fun." I say while nudging her to walk down the stairs. She looks at me for a couple of seconds then sighs and starts to walk down. I grin in satisfaction and follow her down.

"Hey girl you ready?" Christina asks at the door with Shauna, Marlene, and Lynn next to her.

"Yeah I'm good." She answers.

"Have fun. I love you." I tell her while giving her a kiss.

"I love you too." She replies and follows the girls out into the elevator then dissappears behind the doors.

"Finally! Now we get to start with your bachelor party!" Zeke exclaims from the living room and walks towards be with Uriah and Will trailing behind him.

"We have everything planned out for you already." Uriah states proudly while slinging his arm around me.

"Ok well I promised Tris I wouldn't let you guys force me into doing anything to insane." I state.

"Do you really think that will happen?" Will asks with his eyebrows raised.

"Yes because I have you on my side." I defend.

He lets out a laugh and shakes his head,"It's funny you would think that."

"Come man. It's your last day as an unmarried man and tomorrow you will be commited forever. You have to have some fun tonight." Zeke exclaims while jumping up and down.

"What did you plan on doing tonight. anyways?" I ask them.

"Well we talked it over and I thought it would be fun to have a night like in the movie Hangover." Uriah says with excitement.

"Are you stupid? In what world would that be a smart idea?" I ask.

"He never said it was a smart idea." Will points out.

"No. I'm not getting drunk tonight. I will drink one or two beers, after that I'm done. No getting drunk. No exceptions." I demand.

"Ok ok we got it, buzz kill. We won't do anything fun." Zeke says.

"Good. Come on let's go I don't want to be out to late." I say and we all walk out the door.

The last thing I remember is taking a shot, the rest of the night is a complete blank to me.
