Tobias's POV

   "No, no, no." I keep on mutter under my breath hoping this is all a dream. Then it hits me, this is reality.

     "Hannah!" I exclaim and run over to her lifeless body. I kneel down and lay her in my lap and see the bullet hit right through her heart.

    "Come on Han, wake up," I beg,"Please." Suddenly blood starts to drip from her nose making all of the life leave my body. My breathing becomes rigid then a sob escapes my mouth.

   "We need a doctor!" I exclaim.

     "Marlene is already on it." Shauna answers softly.

      "Come on Hannah stay with me." I whisper to my sister's body that was once filled with so much life,"Please don't do this to me." Footsteps then come pounding down the stairs and Marlene followed by a doctor appears. The doctor rushes towards Hannah and starts checking her pulse, heartbeat, and breathing After a couple of minutes he looks up at me with a sad look.

    "What happened to your face? You might want us to fix it up for you.' He tells me. 

     "I don't care about my face." I say hashly,"I care about my sister, is she going to be ok?"

   He stands up slowly,"I'm sorry, but it seems like she's already gone." And with that he walks away. I sit there breathing heavily and staring off into space. A small hand is placed on my shoulder bringing me beack to reality. I look and see Tris kneeling next to me with a sad look on her face. That's when I lose it. The sobs take over as I fall into Tris's arms. I feel her let out a shaky breath then wrap her arms around me. 

  Tris's POV

     As we walk down the compound halls none of us say a word. Tobias is to the right of me and is completly emotionless, but his eyes are filled with so much pain. So much that I am scared he will just break down any second now. 

   We decided maybe it will help Tobias more if we left the compound and went back to our real home. So we just finished packing and we are going to get Mason from Tori. Tobias hasn't uttered a word since after his break down and it pains me to see him like this, it really does. I also can't help but feel like this is all my fault. I shouldn't have let her come with us.

  "Hey guys. Why the long faces? It looks like you just saw someone die." Tori jokes when she answers the door. I hush her and push her into the room.

  "What?" She asks confused,"Was it something I said."

   "Uh yeah it was something you said," I state the obvious,"Tobias's sister just died literally an hour and a half ago." Tori's eyes widen and she let's out a gasp.

   "By who?"

    "Tyler, the same guy who kidnapped Tobias." I answer,"And that's why we are going home."

   She nods and hands me Mason who greet me with a tight hug,"Alright, here's Mason. I wish all the luck to you all."

   I hug her,"Thank you." When Mason sees Tobias after we walk out of the apartment his eyes light up and literally jump into his arms.

   "Hi daddy!" Mason exclaims.

   "Hi buddy." Tobias greets hoarsly trying to act happy, but there is just so much pain it's not really working. 

    "Come on, let's go home." I say softly. 

    On the ride home there was some small talk, but nothing like our normal conversations. There were no stupid yet halarious moments from the Pedrad brothers, no squeals from Christina, no stupidity from Marlene, and no know it all from Will. No one bothers to tell him about how 'it will all get better' or 'she's in a better place' we just stay quiet giving him some time to mourn for his sister.

    When we finally get to the apartment after the long ride we pile out with me holding a sleeping Mason and walk towards the building. Everyone is staying here because it's already midnight. All of us girls are also going to move in with all of the guys considering the apartment is big enough, so tomorrow we will get all of our stuff. Well everyone but Lynn, she is staying tonight but she said she is going to stay at her own apartment because everyone is going to be all 'lovey dovey'. So bascially she is lonely.

    Suddenly out of no where people with cameras pop out of the bushes just like they did last time. They ask questions like 'Four where have you been?' and 'What happened to your face?' That one was referring to the big gash on his forehead and the big, long cuts on the arc of his eyebrow and jaw which he didn't bother to clean up so it's just dried up blood. Tobias just keeps his head down and tries to hide his face, this obviously isn't helping at all. Not today. I grab his hand and try to lead him through this chaos.

   "Hey!" Zeke shouts,"Everyone better back away and get off of this property before we call the poilice on every one of you!" With that everyone scatters away, hoping into their cars and drive off. Tobias sighs in relief and lifts his head.

    "Thanks buddy." He says quietly. Zeke just offers a ghost of a smile if even that. When we reach the inside of the gigantic apartment everyone lets out a sigh of relief happy to be back.

   "Home sweet home," Uriah says and walks over to the kitchen and literally wraps his entire body around the huge fridge,"I missed you the most."

    Marlene rolls her eyes and literally pries him off,"Come on I'm tired let's go to bed."

   "I will see you tomorrow!" Uriah says to the fridge. Marlene just rolls her eyes and pulls Uriah to his room like a little kid. With that we all decide to head to bed. We bid our goodnights and head off.

   "Mason and I can stay in the guest room if you need some space." I offer.

  Tobias shakes his head,"No,Can you stay, please?"

  I smile softly,"Of course." Tobias flips on the light switch illuminating his room. 

   "I will get you something to wear." He says since all of my clothes are still at my house. He comes back a couple minutes later in different clothes and hands me an over sized shirt and a pair of boxers.

   "This is the smallest one I can find and figured you didn't want to wear no pants." He says.

    I smile,"Thanks this will do." He takes the sleeping Mason from me and I walk into the bathroom. I slip on the shirt that goes down to my mid thigh and roll the boxers up three times to get them to stay up. When I walk out I see Tobias has put Mason on the little sofa in the room and gave him a pillow and some blankets.

      "Tobias come here, we need to get your head fixed up." After many attempts of saying he is fine he finally agrees. We walk into the bathroom and I sit him on the edge of the bath tub. I gently wipe off all the dried blood and bandage them up.

  They are going to leave some scars for sure especially the one on his eyebrow. It starts an inch above the eyebrow then goes through the arc of the brow and ends a little underneath the brow.

    We then climb into bed. I end up with my head on Tobias's chest while he is playing with my hair, something he likes to do. After a while he is still playing with my hair and his breathing never slowed down signaling he's still awake. I turn my head and see him just staring out the huge window showing the glowing city from across the bed.

  "Can't sleep?" I ask.

   His eyes move from the window and to over to me,"To much on my mind." I flip myself to wear I'm laying on my belly so that I get a better view of him.

   "You know," I say softly,"I heard it helps to talk about it. Just to get it out of your system."

   He sighs and looks back out the window. He's quiet for a couple of minutes then speaks up,"She was just so young. 12 years old, her life hasn't even started yet and it was taken away from her so quickly. I guess that's just how the way the world works huh? Right when you feel like everything is finally going to be ok, it just rips it all from underneath you." Tears start spilling from his eyes and I gently wipe them away.

   "I'm not going to say everything is ok, because it's not," I say,"But I will help you get through this. We all will you won't go through this alone, I promise."

   A sob escapes his mouth and he laughs harshly while shaking his head and looks up at the ceiling,"I don't know how girls can cry this much and still have their dignity. I feel so freaking weak."

    "Tobias, it's ok to cry. No one can blame you. You just lost someone close to you. So cry, let it all out no one is judging you." He lets out a shaky breath and closes his eyes tightly with more tears streaming down his face. I sit up and take his face in my hands then press my lips to his softly then pull away to look into his eyes.

   "I love you Tobias and we will get through this together." I whisper.

   He nods with tears still on his face,"I love you too." I go back to my orignial position and eventually fall asleep to the sound of Tobias's breathing.

                               *Time lapse*

   I wake up the next morning to find Tobias fast asleep at my side. He looks so peaceful when he sleeps and I wish for nothing more for him to feel that peace even when he is awake. I look over to where Mason is and find him awake. I quietly get out of bed not wanting to wake Tobias and walk over to Mason.

   "Morning mommy!" He exclaims when he sees me. I instantly shush him and pick him up.

   "Shhh good morning, but daddy needs his sleep." I whisper and walk downstairs with him. When I walk into the kitchen I see the entire group sitting at the counter, sitting on the stools.

   "Good morning!" They all say at the same time with muffins stuffed in their mouths.

    I chuckle and take the seat next to Uriah and put Mason in my lap,"Morning." I take two muffins from the middle of the counter and hand one to Mason who gobbles it down in five seconds, literally.

   "Careful baby you are going to choke." I tell him and try to stop him from shoving the whole thing in his mouth.

    "No I'm not." He defends.

     "Well you could." I say.

     "But I won't." He says back.

     I shake my head,"You're so stubborn." He just gives me a big cheeky grin in response.

     "I blame Uriah for that." I say.

     "What? Why me!?" He exclaims.

     "Because everything is your fault." I answer. He opens his mouth but before he can say anything I put my hand over his mouth.

    "Shhhhhh," I say dramtically while shaking my head with my eyes closed,"Don't fight the truth." He just slaps my hand away. I smirk and take a bite out of the muffin.

    "How's Four doing?" Shauna asks me.

     "Wowwww Shauna," Marlene says,"Way to make it depressing."

    "Hey I'm just asking because I genuinely care. That's just the type of person I am." Shauna defends.

    "Well to answer your question. He's not doing to well, obviously considering his sister just died yesterday," I say,"Oh and please be nice when he wakes up and Zeke and Uriah, don't make any dead jokes today."

   Zeke puts his hand over his heart,"I'm ashamed you would think I would do that."

   I roll my eyes,"Seriously though. Just be nice and caring."

   "Aye aye captain." They all say at the same time while saluting. They all look at each other and start cracking up. Suddenly we hear footsteps and they stop laughing making the room completly silent and just stare at Tobias when he appears in the doorway. Really? That is a way for him to feel uncomfortable which doesn't help at all.

   He looks around confused,"What?" All of the sudden they jump up and ask him if he's hungry, if he wants anything to drink, etc... I shake my head and facepalm.

   "Guys," No answer,"Guys," Again no answer,"Guys!" I shout and everyone turns to me.

   "Give him some space. You're not making him feel better, just uncomfortable." I say.

    "Heh, oops." Christina says nervously and they all scramble back to their seats. Tobias rolls his eyes and takes the seat to the left of me and to the right of Zeke.

   "Guys, I will be fine no need to act like I'm some kicked puppy." Tobias says when he realized everyone was staring at him again.

   "Just know, we got yo back bro." Will says in a 'gangster' voice and when he hits his chest he winces. The almighty Will everyone!

   "Never do that again." Lynn says while shaking her head.

   "Hey don't talk to ma bro like that!" Uriah says in the same way.

   "Don't talk to ma sista like that!" Shauna says playing along.

    "No Shauna, just no." Lynn says while shaking her head.

    "Hey! I was defending you." Shauna protests.

    "Yeah.. I wouldn't recommend doing that again." Lynn suggests.

    "You can't tell me what to do. I am older." Shauna says like a little kid.

     "Ladies, ladies." Zeke says in an 'insperational' way making them stop,"Just treasure this moment you have together, because you knows what could happen. One day you can find your sister dead. Then boom no more sister."

    "ZEKE!!!" Everyone but Tobias yells. Zeke's eyes widen and he literally pounces on Tobias giving him a big hug.

    "I'm sorry buddy you know I didn't mean it. I wasn't-" The stool then starts to lean back with both of their weight. Then next thing I know they both fall backwords onto the marble floor with Zeke ontop of Tobias making him groan from underneath. Ladies and gentlemen the helping hand award goes to... Zeke! *note the sarcasm*.

A/N: Phew! finally finished, I must say this was a tough chapter to write. I had to sit in my room with sad music on to kind of 'inspire' me. Yeah just a little fact about me when I'm wirting: I always listen to music when I write and it really helps with ideas, but the trick is it has to be the same mood as the chapter. If you are writing a sad chapter with a happy song, it just doesn't work. So literally this entire chapter I listened to Fix You by cold play, Afire Love by Ed Sheeran, also Latch, but not the real version Kodaline covered it and I'm literally obssessed!
