Tris's POV

   "Evelyn?" Tobias asks shocked.

    She grins,"Hello son." Everyone in our group, besides me, stares at Tobias then Evelyn then back to Tobias and back to Evelyn. It's kind of creepy how they are doing it in sync. Like they are some kind of robots.

     "Wait I'm confused." Uriah bursts out randomly.

     Zeke rolls his eyes and outs his hand on his shoulder,"Well my dear brother let me explain something to you. When you meet someone and are attracted to them you-"

    "NO!" Uriah shouts and covers his ears,"I wasn't talking about that. What I meant was I am confused about this whole thing. Like what is this whole Allegiant thing? Oh and most importantly, why are we here?"

   Evelyn raises her eyebrow and looks over at Uriah. Just in that simple act I see how Tobias can be related with her. He uses the same facial expressions as her,"You sure do have a lot of questions don't you?" She asks Uriah.

   "Well." She starts before she can say anything,"We will explain everything soon. First let's show you around." Then Evelyn, Amar, and Tori lead us through the compound. I'm blown away. This place is amazing and I completly forgot that we are like 100 feet below the ground here. They show us places called the pit, the training room, control room, the cafeteria. The place though that catches my attention the most is the chasm. I am instantly drawn to the splashing water below you as you stand on the ledge looking down. It seems so... peaceful. They lead us back to the training room and we all take a seat facing the three of them.

   "Now we are about to explain everything. Hold all questions until the end. Got it?" Evelyn asks and we all nod.

    "We are the Allegiant as you already know. We built this organization to go against the other group, the one that we saved you from. They plan to over throw the government and be in charge. So basically if that happens and they are in charge they will run it like a dictorship. Obviously we don't want that to happen, so we are here in secret to defeat them before they get to the government. Obviously they are already pretty far into their plan, because they have Marcus on their team and he is already really high in the government. Which is a problem for us." Evelyn explains.

     "What do we have to do with any of this?" Shauna asks. Looks like someone doesn't get the statement 'hold all questions until the end'. Although I was thinking the same thing she just spoke before me.

    "We needed to find some people that would be brave enough, strong enough to be apart of our team. We have been watching all of you for a couple of years now. That is why you were taken, which we appologize for. They had a 'spy' come into the compund and got the information about all of you that's why they took you. They knew that all eight of you would be able to stop them." Amar answers.

    "Can we ask questions now?" I ask.

     "That is a queation, but yes we are done." Tori says.

      "How long exactly have you been watching us?" I ask.

       "Eight years give or take." Tori answers.

       "So you have been watching us since we were in middle school!?" Tobias asks in shock.

       Evelyn nods,"We've known about their plan for a while. We watched a handfull of kids, but the eight of you really stuck out to us."

      I cross my arms,"What makes you think we will agree to this?"

     She glares at me,"Protection. We aren't forcing you to join us, but if you don't, when you walk out of this compound you will be as good as dead. Now that you know all of this information they will stop at nothing to kill all of you. With us you will learn to fight, shoot, throw knives, even face your fears. Let's face it, you need us." I sit there glaring at her. We wouldn't be in this mess if it wasn't for them. We never asked to be apart of this.

   She smirks with victory,"So. Do we have a deal?"

   "We don't really have a choice here now do we?" Tobias snaps.

    She keeps the smrik plastared on her face,"Very well then. Welcome to the Allegiant. You may go now. Tomorrow morning meet us here at 10:00 to start your training. Oh and for now all of you will have to share the same room just for tonight then we will get your perminant rooms." She hands us all a key. Wow this is going to suck! Being stuck in a room with all of these people. Especially with Zeke and Uriah. I won't smell to good that's for sure.

     When everyone is walking out the door Evelyn stops Tobias,"Stay here for a second." He looks over at me and grabs my hand telling me to stay with him. I smile and we walk over to Evelyn with Mason in my other hand.

    When Evelyn sees me she glares at me,"May I help you?"

    Before I can say anything Tobias cuts her off,"If you wish to talk to me then she is staying as well."

    Her eyes move down to our attached hands then back up to my face. Once again glaring. I get the feeling she doesn't like me. I mean you feel it to right? Yikes,"This is the girl that just left you for two years? I can see you two made up."

    Tobias glares right back at her,"Yes this is her, but she's not like someone I know who left for almost my entire life."

    She doesn't respond. Her eyes just move to Mason,"So this must be my grandchild."

     "Yes this is our child." He replies with coldness filling his voice and completly ignoring the wole grandchild part. 

     "He looks exactly like you when you were this age." She comments.

      "I'm surprised you remember considering you just bolted out of my life." He spits out.

     She looks at him like he is insane,"Of course I remember. Look Tobias, I'm sor-"

     He cuts her off,"No don't you dare say you are sorry. If you were so sorry you would have come back for me instead of leaving me there with that monster. What did you want anyway?"

   She has a flash of guilt in her eyes, but it goes away quickly,"I wanted to talk to you about your sister."

    His eyes widen,"Crap. She is okay right? Because-"

   Evelyn cuts him off,"She is fine I got her out before Marcus or Justin could find her. We aren't sure if they were going to do anything to her so I just got her just in case."

    "Where is she now?" Tobias asks with a hint of protectiveness in his voice.

     "She's here. She's staying at my place." Evelyn answers.

      "She's knows your her mom? I mean you left when she was little." Tobias says.

    "Where do you think your siblings stayed when they were gone for four years?" She asks with her eyebrows raised.

     "That's where they went!?"Tobias asks shocked.

      She nods,"That's when I kind of had the clue that maybe Justin isn't as kind as he seems to be."

       Tobias nods his head slowly,"Yeah. I haven't really had time to process that."

         Evelyn smiles a sad smile and changes the subject,"Well I will let Hannah know that you are here. Also I'm sure you don't want to drag your child through all of this so Hannah can babysit him when you are training." With that she turns and walks out the door.

     "Come on Tobias. Our friends will be wondering where we are." I say. He nods and we walk out the door together. Mason holds out his hands for Tobias. He smiles and picks him up and gives Mason a kiss on the forehead.

    "Ah ha! There you are!" Zeke exclaims and runs towards us,"Everyone is in the cafeteria let's go." When we walk through the doors of the cafeteria we are met with the shouts and laughter of everyone around us. We follow Zeke over to the table where our friends sit and I sit beside Christina and Tobias.

   "It's about time you get here." Christina says. I roll my eyes and wrap my arms around Mason when he climbs into my lap. Uriah races over to the table with a tray of food. He slams the tray on the table with a wild look on his face.

    "They have Dauntless cake here!" He exclaims. Tobias and Zeke's eyes widen like a kid in a candy shop and exchange looks. Shauna and i exchange looks knowing that our boyfriends will lose it.  After a couple of seconds of Zeke and Tobias just staring at each other they literally stumble out of their seats and run over to the line pushing people out of the way in the process.

   Uriah sits in his seat smiling at the cake like its his child. He grabs his fork and right as he is about to take a bite out of his cake, Marlene takes her hand and takes a huge chunk from his cake stuffing it in her mouth. He stares at her like she just killed a puppy.

   "That- that was my cake." He pouts.

    She nods,"And boy is it good." When he is distracted she grabs the rest of the cake and stuffs it in her mouth. His eyes get even wider and now looks at her like she killed a whole liter of puppies.

   "Marleneeee!!" He pouts.

   "Love ya!" She exclaims. Right before he can say anything else Tobias and Zeke come back to the table out of breath and the biggest slice of cake.

    "Man fattie." I mutter. Tobias looks over at me and lifts up his shirt to reveal his amazing six pack.

    "Am I really that fat?" He asks with mock hurt.

    "Extremly." I joke while smiling. 

    He sticks his tounge out and holds up an extra fork,"Then I'm guessing you don't want to share with me?"

   I quickly snatch the fork,"I never said that." If Tobias offers to share his Dauntless cake with someone you better take that offer, it only happens once in a lifetime. His eyes move over to Mason who is looking at the cake in amazemnt.

    Tobias laughs and gives him a fork while ruffling his hair,"Don't worry I didn't fordet about you." Mason's eyes instantly light up and he dives into the cake.

   Uriah looks over at Zeke who is very consumed in eating his cake. He slowly moves his fork toward Zeke's cake, but he slaps Uriah's hand without looking up,"No touching my cake." Uriah pouts and goes back up to the line to get some.

    "You wanna get me some? Thanks babe!" Marlene shouts to him as he is walking away. All she gets from him is a flick of his middle finger. I shake my head. Boys and their cake....

A/N: Yes!!! I finally updated!!! This was more of a filler chapter in a way. The next one should be better. I'm just kind of having a slight writer's block about what each chapter should be about. I will get through it though I promise! As usual thank you all for reading!!! I love you all!!!
