Tris's POV

  "We got the stuff!!" Christina shouts walking through the door of the guy's apartment with Will.

   "If I didn't know any better then I would think you were talking about drugs." Zeke comments. She rolls her eyes and throws us each a bag full of clothes. Christina and Will went to the store to get us clothes for our 'spy' mission as the guys call it. They claimed the clothes would help with our 'spy' abilities. No doubt about it buying eight outfits would cost a fortune, so much to Christina's constant danying Tobias paid for it all.

    We all went to seperate places in the house to change. I opened the bag scared to see what Christina got me, but I was pleasently surprised. She got me some black skinny jeans, a black shirt to go under the black hoodie, and of course she got me some shoes. They were some tall black stiletto boots. Right as I put everything on someone knocks on the door.

  "Knock knock girl." It's Christina. I open the door and she comes barreling into the door.

  "I'm doing your makeup." She states simply and pushes me into a chair while pulling out her makeup bag.

  "Wait, Chris I don't need any makeup. We are only going to be doing some 'investigation'." I protest.

   "To bad. It will only make this look one thousand times better." She counters. I sigh and let her do her magic. After probably a half an hour of makeup brushes dragging and pulling my skin she finishes.

  "Ok my master piece is complete!" She exclaims. I stand up and look into the mirror. My eyes widen and I am convinced this is not me. I have a fierce looking smoky eye with winged liner and fire red lips. My hair is pulled into a high ponytail.

  "You like?" She asks with a smirk on her face.

   "Like? I love!" I exclaims and give her a hug.

   "Come on we have some spying to do. Wait, what are you going to do about Mason. You obviously can't bring him with us." Christina says.

  "Yeah, that's exactly why I dropped Mason off at my house. Caleb is home for a week so he offered to watch Mason for me. You were getting the clothes when Four and I dropped him off." I explain.

  She nods and smirks,"Come on. I'm sure Four misses you seeing that you two are insperable."

   I roll my eyes,"let's just go." I pull her out the bathroom and we walk over to the living room where the entire gang sits there in all black.

   "Yes! They are finally here now we can go!" Uriah exclaims. Tobias's eyes pop out of his head when he sees me. I chuckle and walk up to him wrapping my arms around his neck.

  "Hey there." I whisper while smirking.

   "Hey beautiful." He replies. I lean in and our lips touch. He instantly deepens it.

    "Don't you think one kid is enough for now." Zeke's voice breaks the kiss. Tobias pulls away slightly while groaning.

   "I hate you Zeke." He says with his forehead against mine. 

    I chuckle and kiss his nose,"Come on. We better get going." He nods and takes my hand then and walk over to the group.

  "Okay so what's the plan?" Marlene asks.

    "Well considering the news about Eric and Peter Marcus can be a really big suspect. I say we investigate him first." Will sugests. We all agree.

  "What about-"

   Shauna immediately cuts Tobias off,"No how many times do I have to say it? Lynn didn't do anything, nor will she ever. Just because you do, doesn't mean everyone else has a messed up family. "

   Tobias holds up his hands in defense but I see the hurt in his eyes,"I was just going to say that I can check with Justin. He may know something about Marcus."

   Her eyes instantly fill with guilt,"Oh. Sorry I was just-"

   He shakes his head slowly,"It's fine, let's just go." I look at him apologetic and take his hand. He gives me a half smile and we head to the elevator. 

   "Well I say Four and Tris go to Justin's to see what's up while we go to Marucs's. When we finish our mission go to the Dauntless Diner, we will all meet up there." Uriah says like he is a spy. We all salute then Tobias and I walk over to his car while the rest of the gang to to Christina's. We jump in and drvie off.

  "I should probably warn you about something that I forgot to tell you before. It's about Justin's girlfriend." Tobias starts.

  My eyebrows scrunch together in confusion,"Okay...?"

   "Well apparently they have been together for two year. She also happens to be... Lauren." He says hesitantly.

  My eyes widen,"No way! You're joking aren't you?"

  He shakes his head,"I wish I was, sadly no. They share an apartment together. It's kind of disturbing if you ask me." I laugh and nod my head in agreement. Tobias turns into a parking lot and shuts off the car.

  "Ok we're here. Follow me. If you dare." He says and wiggles his fingers like it's some haunted house. I roll my eyes and go to open the door, but he starts yelling. I immediatley cover my ears and stare at him like he is crazy.

  "What was that for!?" I exclaims when he finishes screaming.

  He looks at me innocently with his big deep blue eyes shinning like an innocent child,"I wanted to get the door for you." He then steps out of the car, walks around to my side, and opens my door. I grin and give him a kiss in return.

  "Right this way ma lady." He says in a 'posh' accent and leads me to their room.

   "Well thank you kind sir." I say in the same accent. We stop in front of a white door and Tobias knocks on it. The door opens after a couple of seconds revealing the girl I spent my entire life hating.

  She gasps in surprise when she sees Tobias,"Four! Nice to see you again." She runs over to hug him and I can just see him stiffen. When she pulls away she looks in my direction and her smile drops instantly.

  "Tris." She spits and glares at me,"What are you doing here?"

   "We came to speak to my brother." Tobias says. She looks back at him and her attitude immediately changes to 'flirt' mode.

  "Of course. He's in here." She leads us into the living room and we sit on the couch. She calls for Justin and within seconds he appears.

   "Tobias He exclaims when he catches sight of him. Tobias stands up and they do one of those 'man hugs'. Justin's eyes divert to me and he looks surprised.

  "Tris! I haven't seen you in a while." He asks and holds out his hand to shake. I nod my head and take his hand.

   "So I saw the news." He says and sits across from us.

   "Yeah, sorry about that. I was going to tell you, but-"

    Justin laughs and shakes his head,"No need to apologize. I'm just glad my little brother is happy." I look over at Lauren and see that her face is red with anger. Looks like someone is jealous.

  "So what can I do for you?" He asks.

   "Well." Tobias starts,"This is actually about the news in a way."

   Justin looks confused,"The one about you?"

    Tobias bites his lip in thought. A bad habit of his that just drives me crazy,"More so the one about Marcus."

    Justin nods slowly,"Ok. What about it?"

    "Well do you know anything behind it. Like why would he spend a million dollars just to bail Eric and Peter out of jail?" He asks.

   Justin looks deep in thought for a couple of minutes,"No idea."

    Tobias shake his head,"They were talking about how good of a person he is for bailing them out. That it's the reason why he spent that much money just to get them out of jail. That's obviously not the reason though. It's something so much more. I mean he's not a good person, so why would he do it? Has he mentioned anything like this to you?"

  "No. I mean there doesn't have to be a reason behind it. The news are probably about this one." Justin says.

  Tobias looks at him in disbelief,"What?"

   Justin shrugs,"He isn't a bad person." We sit there in shock for a couple of minutes. I have so much I want to say, but I decide to keep my mouth shut and let the brothers sort it out.

  Tobias starts laughing,"Yeah. A good person, that's funny!" When he notices Justin isn't laughing he scrunches his eyesbrows together,"You were joking right?"

  He shakes his head,"No I'm not. He really is a good person."

  Tobias instantly stands up,"How can you say that!? You know what he has done to me. You've seen it, you've heard it. Now you're saying he's a good person!?"

   Justin just nods,"He really is. I mean think about it. Think about all of the good things he has done for this city. For the people in it. I mean you can't really judge him just on how he treated one person."

  Ok did he really just say that? Tobias is about to reply, but I beat him to it,"Just how he treated one person!? That one person happens to be his own son! If he really was a good person he wouldn't have laid one finger on Tobias. Everything he has done in public was just a diguise to hide who he really is. I would love to see you in Tobias's shoes. To have been beaten physically and mentally by this so called 'good guy'. I would love to see you say that about Marcus after eighteen years of torture."

   Justin and Lauren sit there in shock. Oh yeah I forgot she was here. For once she wasn't running her mouth. Tobias shakes his head and grabs my hand leading me out the door.

  "Come one we're leaving." He mutters and slams the door behind us. The car ride is quiet for a while then Tobias speaks up,"Thank you Tris."

  I look over at him,"For what?"

  "For defending me back there."

   I smile and rub his hand that isn't on the steering wheel,"Of course. I couldn't let him sit there and say that."

   He shakes his head and stares at the road in front of him,"I just- I can't believe him. Maybe I'm-"

  "Don't be to hard on yourself Tobias. I think that Marcus just made him believe all of that. We both know how convencing he is. I'm sure Justin will come to his senses soon and realize how rediculous he is being." I comfort.

   He nods,"Yeah maybe you're right." Just then Tobias's phone rings. The voice on the other side is loud and I instantly realize it as Zeke. He is on the phone with Zeke for a couple of minutes then hangs up.

  "So apparently they are on to something. They are at my old house spying on Marcus and they want us to come with them." Tobias explains and I nod in agreement. When we arrvie we park his car down the street so Marcus doesn't realize it. We walk quielty in the yard and see the group hiding behind a window. We croutch behind them and they still don't notice we're there.

  "Hey guys. What do you see?" Tobias whispers behind them. They all jump up especially Zeke. He jumps back and falls on his head.

  "Oh my flying pickle!!! What the-" When he sees Tobias and I he glares at us,"You gave me a flipping heart attack!! Do you know how evil that is!/ I was this close to-" Tobias covers Zeke's mouth with his hand making his voice come out in incoherent mumbles.

  "Shut up will ya!" Tobias whispers/ yells. Zeke glares at him. Next thing you know Tobias starts jumping around while shaking his hand,"Ewwwwwwieeeee!!!! I got Zeke spit on me! I need someone to chop off my hand now! Help I'm going-" His eyes widen and his hands clamp over his mouth. We all look around in alarm. Suddenly we hear footsteps. He falls to the floor and we hide deeper into the bushes.

  We peak through the bushes and the front door opens and Marcus appears outside. He looks around narrowing his eyes. Will gasps signaling he is going to sneeze. Our eyes widen in alarm and all of our hands fly to his mouth. He sneezes, but it's masked with our hands. Tobias's eyes widen and he starts shaking his hand while mouth 'ewwwwiiieee'. I giggle noticing that his hand was the one actually covering his mouth underneath all of ours.

   We look back over at Marcus and see him staring intently at the bush we are behind. We put our hoods on and lay close the floor so he won't see us. Finally after what seems like an eternety he heads back inside. I sigh in relief and we run over to the cars. Zeke and Shauna end up in Tobias's car with us.

   The four of us meet the rest of them at the guys' apartment. When we all get in the safety of their home we burst out laughing.

   "We're alive!" Uriah shouts.

    "We almost died!" Marlene exclaims.

    "What was it you wanted us to see?" I ask once everyone has calmes down.

   "Oh well Marcus and Jeanine were talking to two people. We didn't know who they were at first, but when they turned around we noticed it was Eric and Peter." Shauna says.

   "What the heck is happening?" Tobias asks.

    Christina shakes her head,"Something tells me what happened in high school was child's play compared to this." Tobias's phone starts ringing and he looks at the number in confusion.

  "What?" I ask worried.

   He looks at me with his eyebrows knitted together,"It's your brother. Why isn't he calling you?"

   I smile sheepisly,"I kind of lost it."

  He laughs at me,"Of course you did."

  He looks back at his phone and answers it,"Hey Caleb what's up?" He listens to whatever Caleb is talking about. He looks like he's seen a ghost and he instantly drops his phone.

   "Four? What's wrong?" Everyone starts asking.

     I put my hand on his shoulder,"Tobias." I whisper,"What's wrong?"

   "It's- it's Mason."

   "What's wrong?" I ask panicked.

   "He's- he's missing."
