Max: well Um.... Why don't we go look around

Max leads as her face was bright red, her heart was thumping and she can feel the rush of blood

Max: well there's supposed to be a party for the vortex club coming soon, maybe you'll be invited?!

Y/n: I'll pass, not into partying with jocks and assholes, I'll rather watch my slasher movies

Max giggled as she thought the same thing, She never done that before

Max and him stroll around as his presence caused more people to stare at him

Max: so what can you tell me about your family? If you don't mind?

Y/n: my grandma Ava, she's an angel and has always been there for me.... She lived here for years with my great grandparents, they held over 60 acres of land til this day..... unfortunately I was 5 when they passed away peacefully

Max: what about your father?

Y/n: never knew him, my mom just dated a guy and after they broke up, she was pregnant of me, she told me that he doesn't matter in my life and I shouldn't worry about him

Max: your mom...?

Y/n pauses as max sees sadness in his eyes

Y/n: my mom passed away from cancer a few weeks ago, there was nothing we could do for her, she took me to Arizona where we spent the last days together, then grandma and me had her cremated, I simply wandered around doing a few things before I came here

Max: I'm so sorry, I didn't mean too...

Y/n: it's okay *steadies breath* I made peace with it long ago, I still miss her to this day, the same cancer took away my grandpa long ago as well

Max: I'm sorry, I should've been....

Y/n: hey it's alright.... Besides I love talking with you

Y/n then noticed how close they are, max and him look at each other

Y/n: you got cute blue eyes

Max: you have such an amazing personality!

They started to lean in together as the bell rings as max groans

Max: "fuck you Bell"

Y/n: shall we?

Max: we shall, we're going to mr Jefferson's class

Y/n: lead the way

Max and him walk as she was staring straight ahead

Max: "shit I nearly.... I almost kissed him"

This still repeats in her mind as they walk to class, with Max every so often looking at Y/n
