~the day of the trip~

We all waited outside the university with our class. And boy was it huge. We were put into partners so we were safer.

I was for one excited for the trip and being Kokichi's partner. Kokichi on the other hand didn't say anything. He just looked down. I decided to leave him be for now.

Hopefully he'll talk at least a bit.  Even just a word would be enough for me...Please talk to me...

Everyone was staring at the large building and chattering excitedly amongst themselves. But all Kokichi would do is look in the distance thoughtfully.

But the more I looked at him, the duller his eyes seemed. It made me sad to see him like that. Sad to see him so empty and emotionless.

"Okay students! Now that we're here at the University I'll need to set some ground rules! First, No switching partners at any point. Second, stay with your partner at all times.

And lastly, have some fun! Just don't burn the school down or cause any sort of property damage. Please. Okay then. Now that we've gotten that out of the way, go enjoy yourselves!"

After announcing the rules to us, we were given visitor passes and allowed to wander the University. Ms. Yukizome waved to us as we entered the building and our adventure began.

As soon as we walked into the building, we were greeted by hundreds of stares and whispers. Some of us acted impulsively and very loudly spoke our mind.... "Hah! Of course they'd be admiring some as beautiful as me!"  (I'm sure you all know who that was.)

"Look away degenerate males! You're making Himiko uncomfortable!" And the others just ignored it. Kokichi didn't seem to care either way. I pulled him away from the crowd and their whispers and stares.

As we walked away from the crowd, I pulled him closer to me. Maybe it was protective instinct, or maybe I just didn't like the attention on him.

Either way, I was going to protect him. He didn't have a choice in the matter. Heh, I must sound so overly protective right now.

When we were in the clear I let him go. No reaction to it. Just silence and a dull stare. As we curiously walked through the walls Kokichi got stares and people whispered.

'Yeah. There's no way I'm leaving you alone now.' I pulled him closer again and glared at anyone who dared to be talking about him.

Then a guy with blond hair came up to us and looked at Kokichi. "Hey, aren't you the kid from the car crash? Hmph. You don't look very traumati-" Before he could finish I punched him, knocking him to the ground.

Then a small guy came running. And when he saw us stopped. "I'm sorry did he say something rude?" This guy seemed nice enough. "He made an insensitive comment torwards Kokichi...so I punched him."

"TOGAMI! Learn some manners, jeez! You should say you're sorry." The brown haired guy said. The guy I assume is 'Togami' stood up,  clearly pissed.

"And why should I apologize? He's the one who punched me! Do you have any idea who I am?!" The brown haired guy was pulling his arm back.

"No. I don't know nor care. Just leave Kokichi alone." I pulled Kokichi and walked away. As we walked away, even more people stared. It was getting pretty annoying.

As we were walking, Kokichi made me let go of him and bumped into someone. A person with long black hair and red eyes. Not someone I'd like to be around.

He looked down emotionlessly. (Is that even a word?) "So this is where you were..... Junko was looking for you. I'll take you to her class.." He picked Kokichi up and started to walk away.

"Hey! Wait!" I put my hand on his shoulder and he turned around and gave me a blank stare. "What?" "I can't let you just leave  with Kokichi. I have to be with him." I gave him a cold hard glare. No reaction.

"Fine. C'mon. Sigh How boring." He put Kokichi down and lead us to Junko's class. He literally just opened the door and pushed us in. "Junko. They're here." Suddenly a girl jumped up from her seat and ran over to the door.

"Finally!" She pushed us to the front of the room and pulled everyone's attention to us. "Ahem! Attention everyone! They're here!"

"Please welcome my "son" and his.. Uhh...boyfriend I guess!" she smiled excitedly. "Wait what!? I'm not his boyfriend!" I tried to explain but she didn't let me. "Why are you in denial? I mean you obviously like him and who knows! He probably likes you too!"

Then at that moment Kokichi threw a knife at her and said two words. "Die bitch." she dodged it and it went to the wall. It definitely excited her though. "OOH! Someone's in a good mood!"

Before she could try to provoke him anymore, a voice came from the crowd of students. "Okay Junko. I believe that is enough. You've proven that you were up to the bet. Congratulations." It came from an extremely pale girl. She looked wealthy.

She walked torwards and smiled. "Hello. My name is Celestia Ludenburg." she bowed. "And you are?" "Oh. Rantaro Amami." She seemed to recognize that name from the look on her face, but must've dismissed the thought.

This has seriously been a crazy day huh? I wonder what will happen next.....
