Elsa tossed and turned, her eyes were adjusted to the darkness and she observed her cousin's room inthe dark. It reminded her of Anna's room, back at home.

Thinking about Anna made her feel homesick again, Elsa ignored the bitter feeling. She opened her phone and put her favourite song. As the music and lyrics entered her mind, Elsa realized how tired she really was and fell to a uneasy sleep.

Next morning

"Morning!!"

"Waaah!" Rapunzal jumped clutching her heart.

Jack and Flynn highfived eachother after getting their desired result. They turned back to the tv, where the football game was going on.

Rapunzal's face puffed up in anger and she picked her favourite magazine Glam and whacked them both onthe head.

"Ow, what does that for?" Jack said rubbing his head painfully.

"The spare key I gave you was for emergencies, not to watch your  games on our tv" Rapunzal scolded them, whacking them again.

"We're sorry mom. Please don't tell dad" Flynn teased.

"But Flynn we don't have one" Jack said pretending to be heartbroken and they both cracked up laughing. Giving eachother another high five.

"Wait till Merida wakes up. She will teach you two a lesson" Rapunzal threatened heading towards the kitchen but tripped over the pile of suitcases.

"Oh and we brought the rest of the suitcases with us this morning" Jack informed annoying Rapunzal to the extreme.

Yesterday the six of them had created a solution that to keep the "less important" and in another words the heavier ones in Jack and Eugene's apartment since they lived inthe same building but Jack and Eugene lived onthe 8 floor so more easier to reach.

Rapunzal stood up rubbing her arm as she headed into the kitchen preparing a nice Saturday breakfast for friends which didn't inculde Flynn and Jack.

"Good morning" Elsa greeted passing Jack and Flynn who's eyes were still onthe screen.

"Morning " They replied briefly glancing at her before going back to the screen.

"Morning Punz" Elsa greeted her cousin who was frying eggs.

"Elsa! Morning!. Did you sleep well?" Rapunzal questioned giving her cousin a bright smile.

"Yea, I managed. Is your maid sick or something?" Elsa asked quizzicaly looking around.

Rapunzal sighed, as she put the fried eggs onthe table and faced her cousin.

"Elsa, I think we need to talk about a few things.." She said sitting down and gesturing Elsa to do the same.

Elsa nodded looking intently at her cousin, "Look Els, i think it's great you want to stand on your feet but life here isn't that easy you see. We are responsible for everything here" Rapunzal paused looking at Elsa.

"We don't have servants so we need to clean the house, do the laundry, cook our meals, wash the dishes, pay the bills and do everything on our own" Rapunzal whispered and Elsa gasped.

"You mean no servants at all" Elsa asked shocked.

"Well they are really expensive and to be honest I prefer to do things my own way. Merida says I am a perfectionist" Rapunzal giggled.

"Your roommate Merida is kinda scary" Elsa commented nervously and Rapunzal giggled again.

"That's everyone's first impression of her but in reality she is the one of the sweetest and caring person I know. She will warm up to you soon. Don't worry" Rapunzal reassured and Elsa nodded with a hint of unsureness.

"Everything will be alright cousin, just give some time" Rapunzal said and they shared a hug.

Few hours

Jack and Flynn's apartment

"Yes mum. I am coming over inthe evening. Ok bye" Merida said ending the call.

"You are really gonna move out?" Flynn asked opening a bag of chips.

"Uh huh" Merida replied grabbing a handful.

"I mean that apartment isn't big enough for the three of us besides the only reason I was living with Punz because I didn't want her to live alone. Ya know she doesn't even have her parents here and what if she got sick inthe middle of the night" Merida said trying to defend her action.

"You can drop the act Mer. We all know how much of a softie you are" Flynn teased and Merida raised her fist but was cut off by Jack running into the apartment and dramatically falling onthe floor holding his face.

"My eyes!!" Jack screamed.

"Let me guess you ran into them while they were watching the Titanic?" Flynn asked bored.

"Well that's the only reason I am sitting here" Merida commented munching on her chips.

"I don't get it, it's not that bad. Why do you guys hate it so much?" Flynn asked and both eyes widened.

"How can someone as awesome as a redhead fall in love with a guy named Jack!!" Merida pointed out.

"And how can a guy named Jack sacrifice himself for a redhead!!" Jack shouted as well causing Flynn to jump.

"It's like breaking the law of the universe!!" They shouted in unison.

"Geez...I get it!" Flynn shouted standing up causing the bag of chips to fall and spill onthe ground.

"See!! Now look what you made me do!"

Well that's a typical day with Flynn, Merida and Jack. Anyway you might be wondering, where is Hiccup?. Well here he comes.

"Hello my friends who are always fighting" A cheerful voice greeted them from the doorway,.

"Hi Hic, you look awfully cheerful how did your date with Susie go?" Merida asked confused.

"Yeah weren't you suppose to break up with her?" Jack asked taking a seat.

"I did did" Hiccup said grinning. Usaully Hiccup felt bad breaking up with someone cause he was a nice guy but right now his cheerful expression scared the rest.
If u can't imagine their expressions than I am sorry you can't enjoy this scene.

"Its Hiccup's evil clone!! Kill it. Kill it!!" Merida shouted raising a couch pillow.

"You used my trick!!" Flynn grinned, jumping in excitement.

"It was the best trick ever!!. She didn't even try to kill me" Hiccup cheered and fist bumped Flynn.

"Well that's surprising considering her parents have high names inthe profession of wrestling" Merida pointed out.

"I know!, I told my parents that I would prefer a little more atheletic type. They got me a girl who's parents used to be wrestlers and she is training to be one" Hiccup said hitting his head.

"Well I have dinner with my parents today. I am 90 percent sure. There is going to be a new family with a boy of my age." Merida said shaking her head.

"Oh and I need to check my apartment as well. Today Maudie went to clean it up and then I need to get some more furniture. Moving out is so hard" Merida groaned.

"Hard for you?, if I ever have to move out. I need to find a apartment with a affordable rent. Then if it is close to work or not and then if my roommate is a weirdo or not." Jack disapproved of Merida's definition of hard.

"Your moving out,?" Hiccup asked confused.

Merida sighed, "it's not like I want to move out but Rapunzal's apartment has only two bedrooms and Elsa needs it more than me besides I have my own apartment so why not to make it easier for them" Merida explained getting up.

"Does Rapunzal know about this?" Hiccup asked,.

"Not till now, I will her tonight, maybe tommorow...no on Monday" Merida muttered confused. She still didn't know how to break it to Rapunzal. They had been roommates for 3 years now. They had shared countless memories, fights and had been there for eachother in hard times like when Rapunzal's  heart had been broken or she felt homesick or when Merida had fights with her mother but The time had come for these days to end but it was best for everybody.

With Rapunzal and Elsa

"And we can buy a closet for you and put it...." Rapunzal looked around confused. For the first time her apartment looked small to her.

Her apartment was huge for her alone, perfect for two poeple but small for three.
There wasn't any place to put Elsa's suitcases and there were only two rooms. Rapunzal inwardly sighed, frustrated with the sudden changes but managed a bright smile.

"Why don't we figure out some other things, first?" Rapunzal said taking Elsa's hand as they both sat down onthe sofa.

Elsa's reply was cut off by the door opening and entered the four friends. Who had decided they were really hungry now.

"Hi" the four greeted in unison giving friendly smiles to Elsa as they took their usual places.

"How are you, today?" Merida asked sitting beside Elsa.

Elsa smiled and replied " I am good now, thanks for asking".

To which Merida gave a small nod and they both turned back to their friends.

"So Elsa what are you going to do on Monday?" Rapunzal asked.

"Yeah non of us of being gonna be here till the evening since we all have to go to work" Merida pointed.

"You all have jobs? But why?" Elsa asked confused. Didn't their parents pay for their things while they lived on their own. Isn't what living independent is called?

The group shot their heads towards Hiccup, who was best in explaining things.

Hiccup sighed, " well when you have a job, you get money monthly and then you buy stuff from that money. It's the way of life. Everyone..mostly everyone has a job. I am a artichect, Flynn is a banker, Rapunzal is a fashion designer, Merida and Jack are animators."

"Well I have a degree in journalism" Elsa said.

"But considering your questions, I don't think you have much experience inthe feild of life" Flynn said trying his best not to offend Elsa.

"No offense but you kinda sound like Rapunzal when I first met her in college. Asking weird questions" Jack added innocently.

Something about Jack's comment made Elsa relieved. She wasn't the person to act like this. Her super perfect cousin was like her once.

"Well what can I say, I am a newbie to reality. Thanks to my parents who always kept me locked inside my home" Elsa said with a hint of sarcastic anger in her voice.

"I am sorry, I didn't mean to make you sound like a idoit" Jack apologized seeing Elsa's aggressive side.

"We apologize on behalf of Jack. He is acts like a doofus mostly" Hiccup said hitting Jack onthe back of his head.

Elsa shook her head, " No I am not mad at what Jack said. I am  angry at my parents and at myself. I always thought they were doing what's best for me. I never questioned their decisions. I never had a say in my own life decisions and look where I ended up. I am 24 and have no idea about the real world because I was always locked in my own world which they created for me. We live in a small town, where my father is treated like a king. I never even payed for my dresses or shoes even. They all later were sorted by my dad. All those luxuries!!. Look what they have they done to me" Elsa cried out in frustration.

For some reason she felt she could trust them besides it felt so much better finally letting those words out.

"Hey parents are just trying to protect you and sometimes they get carried away but we shouldn't always rely on their decisions because there would come a time that they won't be there for us and that's when it can trouble you but you still have time you can change" Merida said patting her back, after all she knew how Elsa felt.

"And as I said before, we are here for you!. It isn't going to be easy but with the right poeple it sure will be a memorable journey" Rapunzal cheered and others nodded with supporting smiles.

"So does anybody has any ideas?" Rapunzal asked.

Well second chapter and I know really boring. But the story will unfold slowly you can't expect everything to be open in two chapters.

Fun fact of the story : Rapunzal and Jack used to date in college but it hardly lasted a month but decided to stay friends
