Author's note:

hi guys, i want you all to know that i caught some spelling mistakes in  the chapter i posted last night and i mispelled john dory's name so i decided to redo the chapter, i appologize for that and i will be careful to prevent this from happening ever again.

John Dory sighed as he lay wide awake in bed. He turned, sat up and fluffed his pillow then Lay back down on his bed. He closed his eyes hoping for sleep to come to him. Unfortunately, sleep would not come to him. He sighed, then got out of bed and tiptoed to the kitchen being as quiet as he could to prevent waking up his brothers. As he passed each bedroom, he paused and smiled listening to the sound of his 3 brothers sleeping deeply. At least his brothers were able to sleep. Maybe he just needed a drink of water. He made his way to the kitchen, opened the cabinet door,and pulled out a cup. He filled the cup with water and took a sip. He sat down at the table and took another sip of water. He sighed. Well it looked like the water wasn't helping to make him sleepy.

He found himself looking toward the trapdoor and wondering how Rhonda was doing. She she pacing nervously, or was she able to rest? He had to know. Silently he stood up, and made his way to the lift, and pulled the lever. Silently the lift raised from the floor, and went all the way to the entrance of the trapdoor. John dory pushed the trap door open and looked around. It was a quiet night, perfect for camping. John dory climbed out and slowly closed the trapdoor being extra careful that the trapdoor wouldn't slam shut and startle his brothers awake. He turned to where Rhonda was. He smiled seeing Rhonda sound asleep. He gently walked to her and was about to stroke her but stopped himself. He didn't want to startle Rhonda awake. He smiled as he watched her sleep. Suddenly rhonda began to twitch in her sleep. She whimpered a bit as she dreamed.

John Dory began to stroke her gently and carefully. Rhonda's eyes flew open and she panted, looking around.

"Easy girl. It's ok. You were having a nightmare. It's ok I'm here. John dory's here."

Rhonda turned to the voice and became excited seeing John Dory. She licked him excitedly. Happy to see him.

"Easy girl. Down, Rhonda down." John dory chuckled as he wiped the glitter off himself

Rhonda backed up still with a happy look on her face.

John Dory smiled. He gently pet Rhonda.

Rhonda then looked confused. What was John Dory doing outside? Was he not feeling well? Did he have a nightmare?

Rhonda whimpered worriedly and nuzzled john Dory as if asking what was wrong.

John Dory smiled gently at Ronda."I'm ok girl. Just... not getting sleepy. That's all."

Rhonda looked confused. She let out a concerned noise.

"I don't know why I can't sleep girl. I mean the bed is comfy,I'm in my pajamas so..why can't I fall asleep?" He sighed as he sat down. Rhonda nuzzled john dory once more.

John Dory smiled. He cuddled her then stood up. He headed to the door, opened it and went inside.

He was greeted with the familiar surroundings. Many a nights he had slept inside of rhonda. He turned and looked up to where he would always sleep. He climbed the ladder and climbed onto the bed. He lay down and smiled happily. He let out a yawn, already he was feeling relaxed and tired. He would rest for a moment, yeah just a quick nap then he would return to her bedroom, and sleep on the bed. John Dorys eyes gently closed.

"John? John Dory?" A knocking on the door sounded. John Dory turned over in his sleep, snoring.

"John, it's floyd are you in there?"

Floyd opened the door and went inside. "John?" He looked around. John dory had to be here. He never went anyplace without Rhonda.

He heard the sound of a snore and glanced at where it came from. There on what appeared to be some type of bed was John dory, sprawled out in his pajamas.

Floyd climbed up the ladder and shook John dory.

John Dory groaned batting away at Floyd's hand.

Floyd then used his hair to tickle John dorys nose.

John dorys nose twitched and he sneezed ,waking up.

"What... huh?" He looked around frantically, and gasped seeing his brother. "Floyd what is it?"

"John did you sleep in here all night? Branch went in your room to wake you for breakfast and you weren't there."

John Dory frowned. "I uh.. had a hard time falling asleep so I went into Rhonda to try to settle down so i could sleep in bed  and I guess I fell asleep."

At that moment the door opened and in came branch.

"Is he in here Floyd?" branch asked as he looked around, he gasped when he saw joh n dory and ran over to hug him. "John! Oh thank goodness I was scared when I couldn't find you." Branch exclaimed relieved to see his brother

"Sorry for scaring you bro." John dory said as he slowly climbed down after Floyd climbed down the ladder.

"Just had a bit of trouble sleeping so I decided to check on Rhonda and I ended up falling asleep in my old bed."

"Next time leave a note so that I know where you wander off to next time." Branch said. "Come on let's go back inside I'm making breakfast. How does eggs and sausages sound?"

"Sounds good John dory said."

John Dory followed his brothers back into the bunker. He could not fall asleep inside Rhonda again. He just couldn't. No matter what he was going to stay in his bedroom.

John Dory frowned as he lay awake in bed. He groaned and sat up. Why was he still not able to sleep. Why was it that he wanted to sleep but he just couldn't fall asleep. He sighed as he sat up in bed. He began to pace in his room.The idea of going back to see rhonda was so tempting.. but if he did he would go inside rhonda and end up asleep on the old bed that he was used to sleeping on.

Wait a minute... was that it? Was he so used to sleeping on his old bed inside of rhonda that that was why he couldn't sleep on his new bed in his new room. If that was the case what should he do? Should he tell branch?

No way ,branch would surely become upset if he found out. Maybe if he snuck over to rhonda and slept for a few minutes... no way would that work he'd end up sound asleep and wake up still in Rhonda.. he sighed as he paced on the floor. What could he do? Maybe if he went outside for a walk, he could tire himself out. No way it was too dark outside. He sat on the sofa and groaned. He then began to pace around the room. He sighed wishing he could go outside to take a walk. Maybe he could eat a snack. If it didn't make him tired maybe it would help him come up with an idea. He went to the kitchen and started to look for a snack to eat.

"John Dory? What are you doing up so late?" John Dory turned around and gasped. There standing by the doorway of the kitchen were branch, clay, and Floyd.

"Bros, what are you doing up so late?" He asked he had nor expected his brothers to still be awake.

"Floyd woke up because he got the hiccups while he was sleeping and clay woke up feeling thirsty and I just couldn't seem to fall asleep. What about you john?" Branch asked.

John Dory knew there was know way to lie out of this so he took a deep breath of air and sighed.

"I'm having ...sleeping problems." He admitted

Branch became concerned."Is the bed too hard?" He asked worriedly. Had he messed up with john dory's bed.

"No,no the bed is soft and comfy it's just...." John dory sighed. "i'm so used to sleeping in my old bed inside of Rhonda. I didn't think sleeping in my new room on a new bed would be so hard. I thought id be able to sleep without any trouble ."

Clay smiled. "Believe me when I say I know how you feel. It took my a while to adjust to living in the hole n fun golf course."

"How come you didn't tell me." Branch asked.

John Dory sighed. " I just literally figured out my sleeping problem. Also i  don't want to bother you with my problems, i can figure them out myself and I really didn't want to wake you up during the night and say. 'Hey sorry to bother you so late at night but, I'm having some trouble sleeping because I'm used to sleeping in Rhonda.' " John Dory looked down sadly and sighed.

Branch gently walked to his brother. "John it's ok. Look. It's only been less then a week since you moved in. And I get it you're used to your old bed and you practically lived in Rhonda. Look. I know it won't be easy to adjust. But I will help you get used to your new room."

"Really?" John Dory asked.

"Yes.." branch said smiling at john dory. Floyd let out a hiccup. "right now let's get clay some water Floyd a cookie and then we can help you fall asleep in your bed." branch said as he got a cookie for floyd and a cup of water for clay.

Floyd nibbled on his cookie and clay drank his water and just like that the hiccups were gone and clay smiled he no longer felt thirsty.

A little later, John dory was sitting on his bed and his brothers were in his room.

Clay smiled. "I have just the thing to help you john." He pulled a book out of his hair. "This is the perfect bedtime story. Sometimes when I can't sleep. I'll open the book read it and next thing I know I'm being shaken awake being told. 'Wake up sleepy head.' By viva."

John Dory shrugged. "Let's give it a try."

"Hopefully, it does the trick." Clay said as he opened the book and started to read it out loud.

A few minutes passed and clay found it so hard to keep his eyes open. His eyes started to close. "Clay? Clay? Clay!"

Clay snapped awake. He looked around and blushed. "The story always makes me feel sleepy. So did it work john?"

"Not exactly but I think it worked on them" John Dory replied pointing at floyd and branch who were sound asleep on the floor.

Branch was curled up next to floyd who softly snored.

Clay sighed. He slammed the book shut loudly waking branch and Floyd with a start.

"I'm awake!" Branch cried out.

"Huh? What?" Floyd looked around and pouted. "Come on clay I was enjoying my dream."

"Naptime's over you two. we're supposed to help John dory fall asleep. Unfortunately the story didn't work on john dory."

Floyd blushed. He then coughed. "Well  I know sometimes when I can't sleep or I'm restless I do this. "Floyd took a deep breath and let it out several times. "This calms me down and makes me feel sleepy."

John Dory sighed and tried to breathe calmly but he still wasn't feeling sleepy.

John Dory sighed. "It's no use. I can't sleep. I'm never gonna be able to fall asleep and I'm gonna be so tired I won't be able to focus."

Branch paced around the room thinking. He then stopped ,he gasped. Maybe they could make his bedroom feel like he was inside of rhonda "I got an idea! Clay, Floyd follow me." He hurried to the lift.

Clay and Floyd looked at each other and followed branch out the bunker to Rhonda.

Rhonda was asleep when she heard the sound of someone approaching her she

Opened her eyes and got excited seeing branch.

"Rhonda hi girl. Whoa easy girl." Branch cried out as Rhonda began to lick him excitedly. He wiped off the glitter and said. "Rhonda I think I have a solution to help John dory sleep in his room..." Branch then began to whisper something to rhonda rhonda nodded her head and stood still.

Branch Went to the side of rhonda, opened the door and went inside. Floyd and clay felt confused but followed branch.

They saw branch gather a string of lights and John dorys pillow and blanket.

"Branch what are you doing?" Clay asked.

"I'm bringing these into John dory's room. Hopefully these familiar items will make John dory feel more at home and help him sleep.

Branch returned with the items he collected along with floyd and clay and with john dory the strung up the string of lights the way John dory liked them.

Branch smiled."there we go. This should feel more like you're in Rhonda now."

John Dory got in bed and sighed happily it felt like he was inside of rhonda. He yawned his eyes feeling heavy.

"Branch it's working. He finally yawned. Now his eyes are closing. " Floyd whispered

John dorys eyes began to close. "Thanks branch." He drowsily said with a yawn and before he could say another word his eyes were closed and he was sound snoring

Branch smiled. "Come on let's get back to our own beds. Or we're gonna be exhausted in the morning.

Clay sleepily walked to his bedroom followed by floyd who was beginning to tiredly rub his eyes. Floyd and clay were asleep the moment their heads lay on their pillows.

Branch went into his room, got under the covers and closed his eyes, falling asleep.

The next morning branch opened the door to john dorys room and smiled. There was his brother still sound asleep under the covers snoring. John dory began to stir his eyes opened and he sat upand rubbed his eyes. On seeing branch he smiled. "Morning branch.i slept great last night."

Branch smiled. "Morning john dory. I'm glad to hear you had a good night's sleep."

"Your idea worked perfectly branch. I was able to sleep peacefully in my room." John dory said. "Well I'm gonna go check on rhonda." He said as he headed to the lift.

Branch smiled as he headed into the kitchen to brepare breakfast for himself and his brothers. Today felt like a fried toast day, he decided
