Floyd was walking around trollstopia, he inhaled and exhaled. It was a great day. He smiled as he waved at val, holly, synth, laguna and everyone in trollstopia. He smiled to himself. This was a great day. Floyd noticed striped smileys stall and walked over to it.

"Hello there floyd." Striped smiley said as he noticed Floyd approaching.

"HI there striped smiley. Any new sweets today?" Floyd asked.

"Sorry not since last week. I'm working on a delicious new candy though. Anyways pick any candy you want."

Floyd looked at his options then he saw a bag.

"What's that?" He asked.

Striped smiley smiled. "Ah I forgot about this. Its...uh...huh well I can't remember what candy it is but."

"Can I have it?" I'm willing to..."

"Here you can have it Floyd." Striped smiley smiled handing it to floyd. "Free of charge."

"Thanks Striped smiley." Floyd peered inside the bag. Inside the bag were small lavender colored candies Floyd took one candy out and was about to unwrap it when he had an idea. He could share the candy. But who should get the first piece. Val?

Holly?

Poppy?

Viva?

Boom?

Hype?

Trickee?

Ablaze?

Synth?

Laguna?

John Dory?

Clay?

Bruce or...

Branch! Of course he had always let branch have the first piece of candy he got back before the band split up. Picking up his bag of candy he headed to the bunker.

In the bunker, the brothers were chatting when they heard the sound of the lift coming down.

"Looks like Floyd's back." Clay smiled.

Floyd walked towards his brothers and smiled. He greeted each one with a hug starting with branch and ending with john dory.

"Hey Floyd. How was your walk?" John Dory asked.

"It was great. I got some candy today and I really want to share it with you and our friends." Reaching into the bag, Floyd pulled out 4 pieces of candy and gave one to each of his brothers.

Spruce looked at the candy. "This reminds me of the candy grandma used to get us remember john?"

"Yeah it looks similar."

Clay took candy and put it in his mouth.

"This is really good." He said.

Branch looked at the candy carefully."

"Branch it's fine floyd got it from striped smiley. Right bro?" John Dory asked turning to his brother who nodded.

Branch sighed. He had a hard time eating candy from striped smiley ever since he tasted the chocolate that turned his tongue green. "If it makes you nervous branch I can..." Floyd began to say intending to eat one of them branch shook his head and ate his candy.

Floyd smiled. "Well I better get to giving the candy out to everyone.

Floyd headed to the lift with the candy pulling the lever to the lift, slowly the lift rose up to the surface and Floyd headed to give the candy to all their friends. He gave candy to everyone in trollstopia. As he returned home he looked at his bag and saw there was only a handful of candy left. With a shrug he decided he'd eat one tomorrow and and put the candy someplace safe.

As he walked to the bunker he bumped into Clay who looked panicked.

"Clay? Are you alright? What's wrong?"

"I *hic* got the hiccups and *hic* they won't stop I *hic* tried all my usual cures *hic* but none of *hic* them work."

"Come on let's get to the bunker. We can figure this out there." Floyd took his brothers hand. As he led Clay to the bunker he noticed that almost every troll was hiccupping. What was going on? Floyd wondered.

As he and clay got into the bunker he became aware if hiccupping. Clay gasped. "You guys too?"

"It's *hic* not just us *hic* almost all of trollstopia *hic* has these hiccups." Bruce said.

"It's like a*hic* hiccuping illness*hic* happened and *hic* everyone has it." John dory said.

"Branch said " John Dory it's not a *hic* hiccup illness those *hic* don't *hic* exist."

"Besides *hic* Floyd doesn't have *hic* hiccups." Clay said.

Branch sighed. "We gotta keep trying these *hic* hiccup cures. Surely *hic* one of them will work"

Floyd with his bag of candy walked into the forest to think of hiccup cures. He sighed what if the hiccups never... no stop thinking like that Floyd all hiccups eventually go away. He told himself just then there was a growl and Floyd turned to see a predator. He ran as fast as he could but he tripped and many piece of candy spilled to the floor. The predator ate a couple and Immediately the predator began hiccupping. Floyd gasped his brothers had eaten the candy and now they all had hiccups if a piece of candy made the predator get the hiccups then that meant.... The candy was the culprit the candy gave all the trolls the hiccups. Floyd was horrified. He was the one who gave the candy out. Quickly he ran towards smileys stall but bumped into someone.

It was smiley. Floyd gasped.

"Smiley the candy it..."

"Oh Floyd I made a mistake I let you have the hiccupping candies. I forgot all about them. I knew I should have gotten rid of the candies but..." He paused seeing floyd sit down sadly.

"Oh floyd."

"This is all my fault. Everyone has the hiccups and it's all my fault."

Striped smiley helped floyd up. "Oh Floyd it's not your fault I gave you the candies."

Floyd sighed. "My brothers and everyone are going to be upset with me. I didn't mean for everyone to get the hiccups I didn't even know..."

"Floyd please calm down. Your brothers and everyone will understand. Right now you need to go home and...trust me everything will be alright."

Floyd turned to striped smiley. "Is there a cure or an antidote.?" Maybe if there was an antidote Floyd would be forgiven. But then striped smiley said. "There is a cure: it's time. The hiccups will eventually go away it may take a day or two but.. you better get home now."

Floyd sighed and h returned to the bunker.

He took a deep breath and silently made a wish.

He coughed and his brothers, who were still hiccupping turned to him.

Floyd sighed. "Guys I I found out what gave you the hiccups." Floyd gulped nervously.

"It.. it was.." Floyd felt so nervous.

"What is it *hic* Floyd what*hic* gave us the hiccups?" Bruce asked speaking as gently as he could.

"It was the candy. It's what caused you and everyone to get all hiccuppy. I swear I didn't know I'm so sorry bros I didn't mean to cause all of trollstopia to get the hiccups." Floyd looked down closing his eyes. He heard hiccups and a footstep he looked up to see John dory looking at him.

Joh. Dory pulled Floyd into a hug. "It's ok bro. It was an*hic* honest mistake anyone could have made, even*hic* me. Look I'm not too happy about having these hiccups but *hic* I don't blame you. Come here bro." Satying that he hugged floyd who relaxed. He looked at his other brothers. "I guess as soon as the hiccups are gone I'm going to have a lot of apologies to say. I just hope everyone will be as understanding as john dory is."

"I'm sure *hic* they will *hic* if they could *hic* forgive creek *hic* they can forgive *hic* you too. And by the way *hic* I don't blame *hic* you for the hiccups. I *hic* wonder why those *hic* were even made."

Floyd hugged branch then turned to his two other brothers.

Bruce and Clay walked to floyd and hugged him.

"Does this mean I'm forgiven?" Floyd asked

"You bet." Clay replied with a big hiccup.

"How many candies are..." there was a knock at the door and branch opened it

"Hi there. I'm sorry to interrupt but I want to know how many of the candies are left?" Striped smiley said.

Peeking into the bag Floyd saw that there was only one piece left taking a deep breath he popped it into his mouth and ate it he found the candy really sweet.

"Floyd how*hic* how many pieces *hic* are left?" John Dory called.

"None now." Floyd replied.

"Wait now? Oh no *hic* Floyd did you.." Branch began as he turned to his brother.

Floyd went to smiley and handed him the bag he let out a hiccup. "I *hic just ate the *hic* last piece *hic*" He handed the bag to striped smiley "at least *hic* no one will ever *hic* be able to eat these *hic* *hic* hiccupping sweets. *hic*" Floyd covered his mouth.

"Oh boy now we *hic* all have the *hic* hiccups. Clay sighed.

"At least *hic* I can *hic* *hic* wait these *hic* hiccups out with *hic* you. *hic*" Floyd smiled.

Two days later  John dory smiled as he approached his brothers. "Hey bros guess what? I don't have the hiccups anymore."

Bruce smiled "same here they stopped a few minutes ago."

"Same here." Clay said..

"Mine just stopped. a few seconds ago." Branch said..

Floyd hiccupped. "But mine haven't. Well I *hic* I'm just glad your hiccups have  *hic*stopped *hic* hopefully everybody else's *hic* *hic* hiccups have *hic* stopped."

John Dory looked at the trapdoor and smiled. "Well maybe in a couple minutes they'll stop."

There was a knock on the trapdoor and branch opened it he smiled seeing poppy.

"Everybody's hiccups are gone." She said smiling. 

Branch smiled "I'm glad. Now that our hiccups are gone I can give you this." Saying that he kissed her on her lips.

Poppy giggled and hugged him .

Floyd smiled. "Hi poppy *hic* sorry but *hic* the hiccups see i.uh i.I.. may have unintentionally caused a hiccup outbreak. I *hic*kinda..."

"Unintentionally ended up with striped smileys hiccupping candies." Floyd was stunned.

Poppy chuckled."striped smiley told everyone today."

"Was anybody *hic* mad?" Floyd asked

"Nope." Poppy said

Floyd sighed with relief "that's good. I feel pretty embarrassed about giving everyone the hiccups. I was worried that everyone was going to be upset with me."

"Um Floyd you don't have the hiccups anymore." Poppy said

Floyd gasped excitedly. "Hey they're gone  I don't have the hiccups anymore."
