Happiness was what you would describe about Karan Luthra at that time. It was the happiest they've seen him and the family was confused. For someone who just had a fight with the woman he loves just a few hours back to be this smiling shocked them all aside from his mom. And even after announcing that he's going way for sometime all while smiling surprised them too. Mahesh asked if his son was fine.

"Yes, dad am fine, look you should all be happy that am actually happy today" Karan said.

"Its strange though because awhile ago, you were miserable when Preeta left this house and now your happy like nothing happened; what the hell is wrong with you? What's going on?" Rishabh asked worriedly.

"Nothing is wrong, am perfectly fine. And this has nothing to do with Preeta, I've decided to do what I should've done long ago" Karan lied.

"Which is?"

"Taking my life back and everything that I lost"

"What you lost?, what do mean?, if it's Preeta then she's here, why do you have to leave?" Sammy asked

But Karan didn't say anything anymore. He went to get his bag, bid farewell to his family, leaving them confused. Mahesh was looking at Rahki who hadn't said anything but he could see that she was knew and was hiding something. Rakhi and Karan spent a lot of time timing talking and no one from the family know what they were talking about. He wanted to know what's happening or better yet what they were talking about.

"Why has Karan left like that? And what did you two talk about?" Mahesh asked and that's when everyone turned to look at her waiting for her to answer.

But Rahki also stood her ground. Karan had trusted her with his secrets and she was gonna return the favour. She first kept quiet but after she said.

"It's nothing and besides he told you he needs time for himself so let it be, he's your son and you should trust him".

"No!, it can't be nothing; you and your son are hiding something or better yet up to something"

"Am sorry but whatever it is, it is his business and yes I know where is he going and why but am not telling any of you because he asked me not to say anything". She excused herself and left. Leaving them confused and unsatisfied.

Karan met with a friend who owns a helicopter. He wanted to reach there early. Perhaps earlier than Preeta who is driving her car and may reach in a few hours. He wants her to find him there and not come to a conclusion that he's following her even though that's exactly what he's doing.

Within an hour he had reached Lovania, he disguised himself because he didn't want people to recognize him so soon. He was here on a mission to win his baby doll back and not take selfies or sign autographs. He wanted to make this about her and not him. He was wearing pants , a dress shirt, a hat, shades and since the pandemic was still a scare he had his mask on so he couldn't think anyone would recognize him with it.

He's been to many places but he has never been to Lovania, he wondered how Preeta knew this place because despite it being far and very hilly, it was beautiful at the same time. With the quietness and fresh air it has, it brings a lot of peace and tranquillity that he needs right now. And he hopes this place can help amend his and Preeta's relationship. Its a special place and he hopes by the time he leaves this place; he will be with the love of his life, his babydoll.
Looking around the place, he realised there were quite a number of people he didn't think he would find in this place but again, it was the only Hotel in this area so of course it would have a lot of people.

"Hello sir, welcome to grandpix Hotel, how may I help you" asked the receptionist

"I don't have any reservations here but I want to spend a few days here"

In the end, he paid for the two rooms that were left because according to the receptionist the rest of the rooms were already occupied. He's lucky he got the last ones. He went to fresh up and asked one of the maids to clean the rooms thoroughly because he had a guest.
He then went to one of the main bars where the entrance was to wait for Preeta. He was feeling so nervous but excited at the same time. He hoped that the receptionist is able to help him like they had agreed.

Karan felt her and looked at the door to see if she's really here; surprising Preeta felt strange as soon as she reached the place however she didn't pay attention to it and she had no idea that there was a surprise waiting for her. Karan was seated at in the corner and the lights there were dim so no one could see or even recognise him. And as soon as Preeta entered he starred at her looking beautiful as always and even though it was at night her beauty could still be seen. Men and women starred her but she was used to this now. She went straight to the reception to ask for a room because she was very tired. She drove for many hours to reach in this place so all sh wanna do is to have a warm bath, delicious supper and then rest.

Preeta was surprised by the receptionist behaviour. Especially with how she was smiling and looking at her.

"Dr. Preeta Arora, you already have a reservation"

"What?, I never made any reservations! What's do you mean?" Preeta asked looking confused.

"Here, these are the keys to room 207"

Preeta took the keys from her looking at her strangely. She wondered who booked for her this room but the only person that came to her mind was Sophia. As she was going she heard the receptionist say " forgive him"

She turned and asked

"Who?"

"Your husband"

"My husband?, but am not married"

"The receptionist smiled and said

"He said you would say that but its no problem, am sure he's gonna be happy to see you".

Preeta didn't say anything instead she was confused because she didn't understand what this woman saying. She knows she's not married, well technically she is but whatever it was, she doesn't know what to call it. And Karan can't be here because he's in Mumbai so who is the man the receptionist was talking about.

Flashback

"Sir, there are only two rooms  left and are both for singles. He wanted a room with double twin beds but this is even better. Karan wanted to share a room with Preeta hence he wasn't gonna let her occupy another one.
So he knew he needed a plan, so he showed himself to the receptionist and as soon  she saw him. She almost shouted with excitement but Karan told her not shout because he wanted privacy.

"Karan Luthra?, it's you! Am your biggest fan, please can I have a photo with you and an autograph"

"I will do that but in exchange I need a favour"

"Anything you need sir"

"Thank you!"

He got his phone and showed her a picture of Preeta.

"Is she your girlfriend?, she's beautiful.

"Yes!, I mean she's my wife and she coming here; however we have some problems and she's not aware that am here. But I want to amend our relationship because I love her very much. When she comes please give her keys to my room and don't tell her its the only room  available as others are occupied please; I promise that it won't cause you any problem with you job".

End of flashback

Preeta left to go freshen up and rest but was having a strange feeling about everything in this place. It was like he was here but couldn't believe it because she left him in Mumbai and only Sophia knew about her whereabouts.

The feel inside was just refreshing and even though it was cold outside, inside it was just warm. Being away from everything and the stress, she was sure this place was gonna  help her get the peace that she wanted. She had her shower, ordered for supper and as she was going to sleep. She had someone on her door trying to open. She was scared, she thought of screaming but realised the room was sound proof. She was going to call for security but before she could say thing; she saw a figure of someone she thought she left in Mumbai. She was so shocked and scared at the same time.
A lot was going on inside her mind.

"Karan!, is that you?" She questioned surprised

But he didn't say anything because he was just staring at her. He was mesmerized by her because he has never seen her show this much skin. Preeta was looking beautiful and sexy, if only he removed that robe; the things he would do to her but he's a gentleman. He entered and locked the door. Preeta now got scared; what did Karan look a like want with her and why is he in her room?.

"Who are you? And what do you want with me, am going to call security" she threatened

"Its me babydoll, it's me look at me; it's Karan"

She left Karan in Mumbai; how is he here? And how did he know she was here?, only Sophia knew where she went.

"No, I left you in Mumbai, how did you get here and how did you know I was here?"

Karan thought of lying to her but he wasn't. He was here to win her over and there is a saying that goes 'truth always sets you free' and its what he's gonna go with.

"Sophia told me"

And as soon he mentioned Sophia's name, she had no doubt that its him but also felt betrayed because she told her not to tell anyone. Karan realised that and told her not to get angry towards Sophia because it was him who persuaded her to him tell.

"I promise Sophia won't tell anyone where we are" he told her

But she didn't care about that, so she asked.

"Why are you here?", "What do you want?"
 
"I......I,...I wanna to talk to you", about us"

"And you came all the way here just to do that?"

He nodded his head. And Preeta felt impressed. In fact now she feels happy that he is here, and she knows exactly what he wants from her but she's not gonna make it easier for him. He's gonna work for it.

"You shouldn't have come here because there is nothing to talk about"

"No baby, there is and know it, you left without saying anything. Preeta I love you, I love you very much and I know you know thatI do and am never letting it go"

Preeta was leaning to the opposite wall and wasn't moving, she was only starring at him while he kept moving towards her. When he reached where she was he held her face locking eyes with her. He took her hand in his and then placed on his chest and asked

"You hear the beats of my heart?, they beat for you and its never gonna stop. Please have mercy on this poor heart". Preeta I want you to know that I found love in you and no other love will do. You know every time I look at you smiling; you chase all of the pain away. And babydoll forever and a while in heart is where you belong. I love you".

They were now looking into each other's eyes, with only an inch separating them. And if one them could lean in a little they their lips will be locking but they were just staring at each other. Preeta was feeling butterflies in her stomach and all the love because he was pouring all his love to her she felt weak. She had no doubt that he loves her and she does too. He starred at her lips and started leaning into her and she wasn't moving either.
