As soon as Preeta entered Luthra house; everyone's eyes turned to the door to look at who just arrived. Some guests recognized her while others didn't. And that didn't stop them from staring at her. Many of them complemented her beauty and her fashion sense. Hearing all the nice things said about his girlfriend only made Karan Luthra proud. He knew he had the best and most beautiful woman in his life and swore never to exchange her for anything. For little Karan, as soon as they entered; he ran towards his dad who was standing at the far corner of the sitting room. He hugged him and after he went to his great-grandma and sat next to her.

Preeta was approached by Mr. Luthra who was delighted and happy to see her attend his birthday. He then took her with him to meet his friends and some family members.

"This is Dr. Preeta Arora, our Major Business Partner at Luthra Cooperation".

"She's the one that rescued your company from being taken from the bank right?". Mr. Thakur's wife asked; whose husband happens to be good friends with the Luthra family only that his wife talks too much at times.

Mahesh didn't like how she asked but he nodded his head as a way of answering her question.

"She's so young"

"And beautiful too", another one said.

"Are you single?" Mrs.Thakur asked again and her husband become embrassed while others looked amused.

However, she didn't care about what people may think. She shrugged her shoulders and said.

"I like her and my son isn't married yet, so she would be a good for him".

Mr. Thakur apologized to Preeta however Preeta only smiled and was amused by this woman's boldness.

"Thank you but am seeing someone" Preeta said looking at Karan with the sweetest smile on her face.

Mahesh wasn't expecting her to say that, so naturally he felt disappointed and sad. He always thought and hoped that Preeta and Karan will one day sort their differences and get back together as he knew that Karan loves Preeta but now that she's seeing someone else; he feels disappointed.

Preeta realised that Mahesh's mood had changed and then asked if he was okay.

"I am fine my dear; I guess am just surprised because I always thought you and Ka.... but Preeta was quick to distract him before he said Karan's name and people around them were looking at them very eagerly. She and Karan had agreed to keep their relationship a secret and she wasn't gonna let Mahesh rise any suspicions among these people.

She may be known and even appear in Newspapers as Dr.Preeta Arora the owner of Annabel Holdings and Arora Hotels and Restaurant because that's okay with her however she isn't ready for the whole world to know her as Karan Luthra's girlfriend.
Karan being a star celebrity would mean attention and she's doesn't like it because she hates cameras so even though she's aware their relationship won't be hidden for long. Right now they are willing to do anything to keep it private but again she and Karan had agreed to tell their families about the status of their relationship soon. So she hopes its today.

"Uncle it's your birthday today and I want you to be happy. Don't think too much besides I have a surprise to tell you and Auntie Rakhi later today. Rakhi smiled and said how she can't wait for it. Even though Rakhi wasn't sure what was going on between Karan and Preeta since Karan didn't say anything to her when he came back from his trip, she knows that he went after her and a while go, she saw how Preeta was staring at Karan when she said she was seeing someone. She hoped that what she thought was the truth and knew her husband will be very delighted once he found out the truth too because more than anything, Mahesh wants his children to settle down and have their own families too.

Elsewhere, Karan was seated by himself but all his thoughts were on Preeta because he couldn't stop staring at her. Preeta was still talking to Mahesh and his friends; and every time Preeta smiled, he smiled too. He didn't even hear or see Dianne and Sophia approaching until Dianned tapped on him and said.

"For a guy who wants to keep his lady love and his relationship a secret; your really doing amazing".

"Am I that obvious?", He questioned.

"Of course you are, ever since she entered this house; you've been staring at her, smiling when she smiles and blushing too. Your looking like a fool Karan. And any smart person would pick up on behaviour but thank God everyone in here in dumb and we are the only smart ones", Dianne said proudly.

Karan was stunned and shocked at the same time but didn't say anything other than smile, sometimes he wondered how Dianne and Preeta became friends because they are totally different but he is also aware how much these girls love and protect his baby doll, and for that, he appreciates and loves them too.

They were quiet for a few seconds until Sophia said

"Karan, I know that you and Preeta are finally back together but how much do you love her", both Sophia and Dianne looked at him seriously.

"Why are you asking me?, and isn't Preeta the one supposed to ask me?"

"Your right about that Karan but as her friends we have a right to know besides we are only looking out for her, you've hurt her before remember that? You have to promise us that you will never hurt her. She's been through a lot because of you", Dianne said.

Karan turned and faced them holding Sophia's hand and said.

"I promise you here and now that am never ever gonna hurt her. She's my life and I love her very much, am in love with everything about her. Preeta opened my heart to everything. She changed me for a better person and I can't live without her. Hurting her will mean hurting myself, I don't want to even think about it. And lastly, we have a child I wanna protect with my life. Do you believe me now?"

"Well, I believe you and Karan thanks for loving her, for bringing that beautiful smile back. I don't know if you've known this but for whatever reason Preeta has always loved you and now am sure she loves you even more, so please don't ever hurt it her again because I swear to God, if you do; I will destroy you". Sophia threatened him.

Karan hugged Sophia and thanked her for always being there for Preeta. He promised her again not to hurt her but love her always. While hugging each other they saw flashes meaning someone was taking photos but they didn't mind at all.

"If those are paparazzi, am sure your gonna be labelled his girlfriend. Since we came to seat with Karan, I've observed a few people looking at us and whispering" Dianne told Sophia.

"We are not dating and I don't care about what they think, do you Karan?"

"Not at all besides, my babydoll will be protected. It's better they think it's Sophia. I know Preeta hates cameras and all that attention that comes with it", Karan answered.

"But Karan you must also be ready that anytime your relationship will be discovered by the media. You have to talk to Preeta on how you will handle it because you won't hide it forever. You're a star celebrity, news always write about you the good and and the bad. Your always shipped with every girl your seen with and now am sure it's gonna Sophie here", Dianne said laughing.

After a few minutes Preeta joined them and as soon as she came and locked eyes with Karan, the others seized to exist. They smiled at each other reminiscing their times together. Hadn't there been an audience, Karan would've kissed her. With how they staring at each other; they made Sophia and Dianne uncomfortable.

"You fools, can you stop?, if you wanna fuck go get a room", Dianne muttered.

Preeta told her softly but couldn't stop staring at Karan and Karan was enjoying himself.

Shrishti, Sammy and Kritika also joined them and asked what was happening here.

"You don't know?", Dianne asked surprised.

"Know what?, what have I missed?". Shrishti questioned

"I know what's going on" Sammy said

"Me too" said Kritika.

"Well I don't so tell me what's going on".

"Shrishti I expected you to be up to date, you ever on Twitter and instragram, how come you haven't known what's been trending since yesterday? ", Sophia asked.

" I lost my phone my phone yesterday and am getting a new one tomorrow. I was supposed to get one today but I've been busy. See all these decorations were done by me and I was also too tied. That's why I didn't come home yesterday but slept here at Luthra house".

"In that case, when you get a new phone you will find out". Preeta answered.

Preeta then greeted Sammy and Kritika who were smirking and laughing at Shrishti.

"Karan, can I speak to you privately? " Preeta requested.

"Sure baby, let's go".

"Baby?, what the hell is going on?, why is he calling her baby? Has something happened? And if yes when?" Shrishti asked confusedly.

"Whatever your think, is the truth my dear". Sophia told her

"Oh my God, you mean they are back together? How? and When?" She asked excitedly

"Yesssss", she shouted excitedly and everyone turned to look at them.

Sammy showed her Karan's post he had posted on instragram. Then Sophia told them everything including the trip to Lonvania.

"He followed her there and spent all those day together?, then why did you lie to me that she had left for work?", Shrishti asked Sophia.

"Am sorry Shrishti but that's what she wanted everyone to believe. Anyway this is what we all wanted right?, they are together as they should be".

"Of course am happy that my sister is finally with the man she has always loved and she, him and my little champ will be one happy family".

When time for cutting cake had come, everyone was present but Preeta and Karan were not anywhere to be seen; so Mahesh asked their friends where they were.

"Uhm...., they went to talk I will call them", Kritika offered

But Kareena asked her to stay as she was pick her gift for Mahesh and would call them.

The door to Karan's bedroom wasn't locked and Preeta and Karan were seated next to each other talking. And that's how Kareena found them. She was going to knock but then heard Karan ask Preeta something that surprised and excited her at the same time.
