"Mum, why didn't you tell me that Preeta was back?, Is she here?, Preeta!" Shrishti called as soon as she entered her house. She went to the bedroom they used to share with Preeta but there was no sign of Preeta. She became sad and wondered if Sammy had pulled a prank on her. Her mum had followed her and saw how disappointed she was. "Come here sweetie", Sarla told her. She came and sat next to here. Sarla told her that her was back but wasn't staying with them. Shristi jumped with joy; for a second, she thought Sammy was lying but her sister is finally back. "Where is she? And why isn't she here?", Shrishti asked eagerly. Sarla had to tell everything to Shrishti who was very surprised. "Holy cow!, mum are you sure?, Preeta is that rich?", she questioned her mum; who only nodded. "And she's the one behind helping Luthras?, are they aware of it?", Shristi asked surprised. "Sadly no and, I don't know how they will take it; I hope they don't think she's taking revenge", Sarla said worriedly. "No mum my sister isn't a vengeful person, she's the most kind and generous I have ever known, so I hope Luthras understand that", Shristi muttered. She asked about her nephew and Sarla said that, she has the most handsome grandson anyone would ever ask for. And Shristi told that his parents are beautiful and handsome people so of course their child would be handsome too. But she felt sad for not having been around when Preeta and her son visited. However Sarla told her that as soon as Preeta was back from Dehli, she will come see them and Shrishti got excited.

Preeta took a late night flight from Delhi and reached Mumbai at around 4:00am in the morning but decided to go at her mum's place and surprise her instead of going at the Hotel she was staying at. Jhanki opened for her and was surprised to see her at their door this late. Preeta told her she just arrived from Dehli but she's feeling tied. She asked for a cup tea and while Jhanki was preparing for her; she asked if her sister was back. "Yes, she came back two day back; should I wake her up?", Jhanki asked but Preeta told her to let her sleep. She wants to surprise both her sister and mum. After, she had taken tea, she was so tied; so she asked aunt Jhanki if the spare bedroom wasn't occupied and Jhanki nodded and told her that she was gonna prepare the bed for her. "Thank you Aunt Jhanki", Preeta said.
As soon as she went to bed, sleep took over because she was very tied. Jhanki came to check on her and realised she's already asleep and smiled. However, she didn't go back to sleep since it was coming to almost 5:30am. She decided to do her house chores and later use that time to catch up with Preeta because she missed her so much. Jhanki always favoured Preeta more than Sarla's other daughter because she always reminded her of the daughter she lost many years ago and now she can't to hear from her how her life was when she left.

When Shrishti woke up, she smelt something good from the kitchen so she went there and found that Jhanki had prepared so much for breakfast and questioned if they were celebrating something but Jhanki kept didn't say anything. But instead told her how she knows that today is a good day and that, they will be very happy. Jhanki then asked Shrishti to help her prepare the table and also to add an extra cups and plates. When Shrishsti questioned her; she didn't say anything but to do what she had asked her to do. Shrishst became suspicious and wondered why Jhanki was acting strange and why prepare so much. She got caught up in her thoughts that she didn't hear a knock from the door until Jhanki tapped on her and told her to open the door. When she opened, she saw a brunette woman at the door and a little boy she has never seen anywhere. There was also a car that was parking at there house. There was a woman she couldn't tell who it was but decided to ask the one on her door who she was but before she couldn't say anything, the lady who was parking came and called her name with a huge smile but still Shrishti couldn't tell who she was. She starred at her for a minute trying to remember where she has seen her because the image was there but couldn't place where she has seen her. "Shrishti, how can you not remember me?, it's me Sophia" the lady told her. "Sophia Bhatt?, is this really you?", Shrishti asked overwhelmingly. "The one and oly", Sophia answered. And she hugged her there and then. Shrishti couldn't believe her eyes, she last saw her years back and didn't see this time when she met up with Preeta. She hadn't even known that until Sammy told her that according to their investigator Preeta was last seen with Sophia. Sophia and Shrishti were also friends but she was closer to Preeta because they were/are the best of friends.

Shrishti was very happy to see her because it has been such a long time since she has seen her but she was interested in knowing about the whereabouts of her sister so, she asked where Preeta was as she wasn't seeing her with them. She didn't even give much attention to the boy and Dianne. All her attention was with Sophia. "What do you mean?, Preeta is here and we are here to see her", Sophia told her. Shrishti was shocked, her sister wasn't here otherwise, she would've been the first to know. But then remembered that Jhanki has been acting strange, does she know something?,she questioned but then remembered that she hasn't invited the guests in. And that's when she saw the little boy. She starred at him and then asked Sophia, she nodded not to startle the boy because Shrishti was too excited which would scare the little boy. She knelt down to be on his level and introduced herself as his aunt but little Karan was being sceptical because she didn't know this woman and she was very tall compared to the aunties he knows; Dianne asked him to say hi to aunt Shrishti and that she is his mum's sister who is here. Shrishti was so happy to have finally met her nephew who was handsome just like his dad. "Preeta and Karan have a very beautiful son", she said and the rest agreed with her. She was still surprised that her sister was here.

It was still early in the morning; her mum wasn't here because she had gone to the market however she wondered if she knew Preeta was here but denied that, she knew that if her mum was aware then she couldn't have gone out.
She decided to go see if Preeta was really here, checking the bedroom Jhanki told her Preeta was sleeping in and she couldn't stop her tears from falling when she saw her sister sleeping so peacefully and soundly. She couldn't believe that she was finally here. She remembered their times together, the bad and the good times; she knew that her sister was always there for her and sacrificed a lot especially when their father passed on. All those memories came back and tears continued to fall from her eyes, she smiled and walked to the other side, she looked at her face and caressed it. A tear fell on Preeta's face and that's when she woke up. The sisters starred at each other and after gave each other an emotional hug. "Preeta, it's so good to see you; I thought I would never see you again. You've got no idea how I have misssed you" Shrishsti told her while crying. "But I always come back and I did" Preeta answered. They sat on bed and faced each other. Shrishsti asked Preeta why she never called back yet she had promised to do so however Preeta askec her for forgiveness for it was intentional but was scared that she might inform Sammy where is was and Sammy would tell Karan. She told her how she wanted nothing to do with Luthra family.

"What about now?, your already involved because mum says, your gonna help them with their company. How do you feel about it? Shrishti asked and Preeta said, she ready to meet the Luthras and that whatever happens will happen. Shrishti then congratulated about her son and complimented him about being hand some like his dad. "Thank you" Preeta told her. "Uhm, Preeta I want to ask you something",Shrishti asked hesitating. "What is it?", Preeta asked. "How do you feel about Karan?, after all he's your son's father" Shrishti asked. Preeta took long to answer but she did "I don't know how I feel and I also don't know what will happen when we finally come face to face tomorrow", Preeta answered truthfully. She then went into the bathroom to fresh up at the same time Shrishsti too went back in sitting room to give company to the guests as they wait for Preeta.
When Preeta came to the sitting room, her son immediately left his seat and went to her shouting mummy mummy!, Preeta engulfed him in a hug and asked him how he has been. He was just happy to see his mum, whom he hasn't seen for a whole week. They sat down but little Karan sat on his mum's laps, he told her what he did during the week.

Like many young kids who don't keep quite about stuff, he told his mum he has other uncles, aunties and grandmas and a grandfather and that's how Preeta knew that Sophia took her son to Luthras, she wasn't angry but she asked her why? And Sophia told her that his nanny wasn't back that day and they couldn't leave him alone. Preeta looked puzzled and asked if Karan knows anything and if he recognised her, Sophia said he did and even told Preeta that, the Luthras know Karan's mum is the really president of the company. "How did they know that?", she asked and Dianne who has been quite said because you named him the share holder and you wanted one of Sammy or Rishabh to represent him so they asked and we told them the truth. You put us in the difficult spot Preeta". "Anyway I knew this would happen though i never anticipated that, it would be this soon. I guess it's time I revisited my past" Preeta said. From there, they went to have their breakfast prepared by Jhanki and in between, they talked about different stuff. Preeta told Shrishti about her life in the States and how she became rich. From there, they talked about business and Preeta asked her friends if every thing was ready for tomorrow and was also showed the guest list of which the whole Luthra family was invited. And seeing that name does something to her. Deep down, she's scared for tomorrow but life is what it is and she can't do anything about it. Whatever happens tomorrow will happen.

That's it for today; also I thought Preeta should meet her sister before the inauguration because she will need her family by her side. This is a big accomplishment for her and family is always important as well as their support.
Also not the best update but in the next chapter the Luthras will finally meet Dr. Preeta Arora .😍
