This will be updated with every new chapter I write.

A

Abominations: A term given to Jacob's experiments that went wrong. They usually live have a long life span, but it is a life filled with pain.

Ambassador: An adult apprentice deemed worthy enough and trusted enough to teach other apprentices around the world. They are completely loyal to the Elders.

Apprentice: A child that possesses an extraordinary power. They are taught by the Elders, teachers, or ambassadors on how to control their power.

B

Bands: A silver band that fits around the wrist that gives the wearer the ability to go anywhere in seconds. Often irrates the skin of the user's wrists.

Brink: A term used to describe the descendants of those that used the Gemini Drug. They got their name after bringing the human race to the brink of extinction. They live as outcasts in the forests, caves, and old abandoned buildings.

C

Controller: A term used by Raven to describe adult apprentices.

E

Elders: The original six that were naturally born with powers. Mentors to children that have powers. Their true age is unknown, but believed to be five hundred years old.

F

Flaven Berries: A hybrid plant created to end world hunger, but instead caused a flu epidemic.

Flavens Flu: symptoms include sweating, yellow boils, nausea, and fever. Dangerous to the very young and very old. Usually caught by someone who has eaten Flaven berries or contact with someone who has Flavens Flu. 

Ferox Research Facility: A research facility originally run by Nons to experiment on gifted children. Taken over by Jacob Crowfield shortly before the war and was the cause of one the bloodiest battles during the war.

G

Gemini Drug: A drug created in the late 21st Century by Jacob Crowfield to unlock a gene believed to give people superhuman abilities. Its side effects of insanity, mutations still affect the users descendants hundreds of years later.

Gift Absorption: Those that can take life force briefly absorb the powers of another gifted person if they take their life force.

L

Leda: Leda formally known as the Sahara Desert until 2099 when it was turned into a city by Malcolm Sphera.

Level E Zone: A city or town that used to be inhabited by Nons. They were evacuated during the war after a tip-off that a battle between Apprentices and Brinks was imminent.

Life Force Sharing: Those that have the ability to take life force also the ability to share life force they have collected with someone who has the gift of mind reading.

Lo: The town Raven grew up in. Used to be known as the capital city London. At least 40% is overrun with trees and overgrown weeds.

N

Nons: A term used by those with powers to describe those without powers.

P

Peritia: A game played between 2 or more Apprentices with the same gift. The game is usually set up by the Elders or Ambassadors, the rules are often changed on their whims.

S

Sacred Laws: There are four sacred laws that the Elders put in place when they came to power.

• Apprentices are forbidden from having children.

• It is a crime punishable by death for Ambassadors, Apprentices or Nons to have contact with the Brinks.

• A Non is required by law to contact the nearest in authority if they suspect a child has a gift.

• Apprentices are prohibited from going to any Non community without the consent of the Elders.

Sphera: A metal life form created by Malcolm Sphera to spy on people. They can rearrange their shape and body at will. Their  alliance is with the Elders.

Spugs: A hybrid with the body of a slug, but the legs of a spiders. They eat fruit and vegetables, and insects.

Surrepo: A green syrup made from earthworms and stinging nettles.

W

War Memorial: There are two memorials, one for the Nons and one built by the Elders to remember dead apprentices.
