Manvi opens her suitcase and makes space inside the closet to keep her clothes and accessories. She takes out one set and saree which she wanted to wear to her parents' house. She had to look good as it was her visit to her parents' house after the marriage.

Arohi enters the room and says "bhabhi.."

Manvi turns and smiles "haa Arohi Di"

Arohi smiles at her and then her eyes fall on the set. She picked it up and said "are bhabhi ye toh kitna acha necklace hai"

"Hai na.. Mumma ne mere 20th birthday pe banwaya tha!" Manvi spoke.

"Ye toh bahut hi pyaara hai.. Kaash aisa mere paas bhi hota lekin mere maa baap hai ki kuch sochte hi nahi hai mere liye" Arohi complains.

Manvi takes the necklace from her and smiles "koi baat nahi aapki shaadi hogi na toh main Deep se kahke aapke liye aisa hi banwa dungi"

"Wo toh thik hai bhabhi! Lekin na bhai bilkul nahi sunte hai meri itne saal se ek scooty maang rahi hun dilate hi nahi hai.. Mere sab doston ke paas scooty hai" Arohi spoke sheding crocidle tears.

"Main unse baat karungi! Wo dila denge aapko" Manvi said and keeps her things in the wardrobe.

Arohi sighed deeply and walks out of the room. Manvi gets ready as Chintu will be here in any minute to take her home. She calls Deep and said "Aap shyam ko aayenge na ghar?"

"Haan Manvi main time pe pahuch jaunga tumhe lene" Deep confirms and ends the call.

Manvi moves out of the room and Yamini says "bahu"

"Ji maaji" Manvi asked.

"Ghar jaa rahi ho na.. Toh lautte hue Arohi ki scooty ki booking bhi karwa aana" Yamini said.

"Main kaise? Deep karwayenge na?" she asked.

"Abhi toh shaadi hui hai..! Uss bechare ko office mein kitna kaam hai kyun pareshan karna hai usko? Tum apne ghar jaa rahi ho na aur waise bhi shaadi mein hamari Arohi ko kuch nahi mila tumhare ghar se" Yamini taunts.

Manvi was shocked hearing her words. Wasn't that enough that her father gave to them? She wanted to reply but remained silent as she didn't want to create any scene.

Chintu comes and says "Manvi Di..."

Manvi turns, Chintu commences towards her and hugs her tightly "Di... aap kya gayi society se mujhe toh koi puchta tak nahi chintu aaj kiske ghar ka kaanch toda"

Manvi smiles hearing him. They parted the hug, Chintu touches Yamini's feet and takes her blessings. After a minute, they leave for Manvi's home.

Within half an hour they reached home, Manvi hops off the bike and runs into the house. The door was open, she shouts "mumma papa..."

Ruhana comes out of the kitchen and Manvi hugs her immediately. Ruhana caressed her head "mannu... kaisi hai meri beti?"

"Bahut achi hun mumma" She said.

After a minute they parted the hug and Ruhana kissed her forehead "aaj toh kitni hi pyaari lag rahi hai.. Deep kaisa hai? Sab kaise hai waha pe?"

Manvi smiles and said "Sab ache hai mumma.. Papa kaha hai?"

She points towards the room and replies "jabse tum gayi ho na room se nikle hi nahi hai.. Aaj toh office bhi nahi gaye"

Manvi goes to her room with cat paws, she stops at the door and sees her father looking at the photo album. She goes inside and hugs him from behind. He was surprised at her sudden act, she glanced at him and smiled "missing me?"

Vineet pats her cheeks lightly "bahut zyda"

He held her wrist and pulls in front of him. Tears slip down her eyes recalling how he had sold the village plot for her marriage. Vineet wipes her tears and asked "kya hua?? Ghar pe kisine kuch kaha?"

"Nahi papa.. Bas aapki bahut yaad aayi mujhe" she said and keeps her head on his lap.

Vineet kissed her head and asked "Toh kaisa raha pehla din sasural mein?"

"Bahut acha tha.. Wo rasam ke liye mumma ne receipe bheja ache se ho gaya! You guys are always my savior" she said meaningfully and this was enough for him to understand she is aware of the dowry money.

"Mannu.. Mai.." he paused.

Manvi held his hand and said "aapne jo kiya aapka farz tha papa.. I am sorry meri wajah se wo ghao ki zameen"

"Wo toh humne issi din ke liye toh li thi na mannu..! Aur ab sab khatam ho gaya na.. " Vineet said.

Manvi nods yes and both of them move out of the room. Manvi sits at the dining table and RuVi feeds her with their hands her favorite food.

Manvi made a face "bas bas.. Aur kitna khilaoge mujhe?" she asked

"Abhi khale jitna khana hai shyam ko jamaiji aayenge na sab khatirdari unki" Ruhana said

Manvi sighed deeply "haa.. Haan thik hai!"

Later on, they sat down on the couch and had a conversation. Ruhana looks at the time and it was 6 pm, she asked "Mannu puch na Deep se kabtak aayega?"

"Ji mumma abhi phone karti hun" she gets up from the couch and goes to the dining table where her phone was placed.

She picks up the phone and calls Deep, after a few rings he picks up the phone "Deep kaha rahe gaye hai aap?" she asked.

"Bas pahuch gaya" He replies.

Manvi ends the call and within 15 minutes Deep arrives. RuVi perform the peg phere rituals, Deep take their blessings and says "aap chinta bilkul mat karna aapki beti ka ache se khayal rakhunga main"

"Yakeen hai Deep.." Vineet said.

Manvi smiles, and she hugs her parents. Ruhana hands her some bags, Manvi said "mumma ye??"

"Kuch tohfe hai tere liye aur parivar ke liye" She said.

"Mumma kya zaroorat thi?? Shaadi mein itna sab kar liya hai na" Manvi said a bit angrily.

"Mannu.. Rasam hai! Karni padti hai khali haath nahi jaate jab pehli baar mayke aate hai shaadi ke baad" Ruhana exclaims.

Manvi sighed deeply, she finally agrees and leaves with Deep. She boards the train with Deep, she recalls the first meeting with him.

Manvi gets pushed by a man standing behind her. Deep stand behind her and she smiles "thank you Deepji aap sach mein mere papa ki tarah hai wo bhi jab mumma ke saath aise travel karte they na.. Unke aise hi protect karte they"

Deep looks at her with a smile "ye toh mera farz hai.."

The train stops and they move out of the train. They reach home which was 10 minute's walk from the railway station.

Yamini and Arohi take the bags from their hands. Manvi was just shocked, instead of questioning about their day or even asking for a glass of water they were interested in the gifts her parents had sent.

Arohi liked the dress which her parents had bought for her. She said "ye toh bahut hi achi hai.. Bhabhi ye main rakh rahi hun"

"Lekin ye..." she paused when Yamini said "haan beta rakhle"

Deep denies "Arohi ye manvi ka hai"

Arohi makes a face and gets angry "bhaiya! Aap toh abhi se badal gaye ho.. Mujhe kuch nahi chahiye isme se ab" she pushes away everything.

"Arohi Di.. aap naraz mat ho ye dress aap rakhlo mere paas waise bhi bahut hai" Manvi said as Arohi was upset.

A smile appears on her face "Thank you bhabhi!" she takes the things and goes to the room excitedly.

Manvi goes to the room and changes, she recalls the events that took place. She had a doubt her in-laws were greedy. Deep comes to the room and says "Manvi.. Kal mujhe late ho jayega office mein bahut hi zyda kaam hai"

Manvi turns to him and smiles "ji.. Deep meri bhi chuttiyan khatam ho gayi hai kalse mujhe bhi office jaana hoga"

Deep thought for a moment "thik hai toh subah mere saath hi nikal lena" he said

Manvi hugs him tightly at least he is understanding. "Thank you! Lekin maaji se baat?" she asked.

"Kuch nahi kahengi maa..." Deep said and then they called it a night.

The next morning, Manvi gets up and freshens up. She gets ready for the office and then goes out of the room to prepare breakfast for everyone. 

"are bahu itna ready hoke kahan jaa rahi ho?" Yamini asked

"office.. nahi gayi toh job chali jayegi meri waise hi shaadi ki wajah se bahut chutti ho gayi hai" she replied. 

"lekin bahu abhi shaadi hui hai na mehmaan aayenge tumse milenge" Yamini spoke

"wo toh roj hi hoga.. unse kahiye sham ko aaye main office toh jaungi" Manvi replied

"chalo late ho raha hai" Deep said and both of them leave for the office. 

Yamini sighed, Arohi made said "dekh rahi ho maa.. kaise tumhara kaha taala inhone!" 

"ye Deep bhi na ek din nahi hua bahu ke rang mein rang gaya hai" Yamini fumes in anger. 

It has been a month and everything was running smoothly in her life. There wasn't any demand from Yamini.  She tried her best to manage her home and office. Deep admired the way she handled everything. 

It was late at night and she had been working on something important "Manvi so jao" Deep said in concern

"nahi Deep do din mein mujhe submit karna hai.. bahut hi zaroori hai ye mere liye agar sab acha raha toh mera promotion ho jayega" she said with a smile on her face. 

"toh main madad karun?" he asked

"nahi Deep ye mere ethics ke against hoga.." she replied

"ohho tumhare ye ethics.. I am proud of you" he said and kissed her forehead lightly. Yamini heard the conversation and a smile appeared on her face.
