She shouted for help but none appeared, she pushed him away with all her energy and moved out of the room. She run to the corridor and he again appeared in front of her. He slapped her hard on her face "Aaj tum mere saath ghar wapas jaogi samjhi! Warna yahi tumari ijzat utar dunga main"

She was in disbelief hearing his words, he held her hand and began to pull her. She struggled to release her hand from his grip.

Manvi looked at the direction of the garden and everyone was dancing on the loud music. No wonder anyone heard her scream.

She jerked his hand off and ran towards the garden but he managed to capture her again. He threatened her "don't force me to be cruel! Pyaar se samjha raha hun ghar chalo"

She gulps down her throat and looked at him with fear. She refused to go "nahi.. Jaungi wapas"

He slapped her and she landed on the floor. He pulled his belt out "tamasha chahti ho na.. Yahi sahi"

He was about to hit her but someone grabbed it. It was Aarav and he fumed in extreme anger "kamine insaan yahan bhi pahuch gayaa tu"

Sneha saw them, she turned off the music and asked everyone to move towards them.

Sneha ran and picked up Manvi. She was shocked to see blood oozing out from her side lip and she felt guilty of leaving her alone.

"Ohho.. besharam ho tum yahan college reunion ke bahane iss lawyer ke saath maze kar rahi ho!" Deep said harshly.

Vivek shouted "Abe o zuban sambhalke baat kar samjha warna yahi zinda dafan kar dunga"

"Meri biwi hai main Jo chahe Kah sakta hun kar sakta hun" he argued

Aarav smiled "biwi hai toh biwi ki tarah rakhta use.. sabke samne jalil nahi karta! Isse Pehle main Bhool jau main lawyer hun nikal yahan se" he threw away his belt.

Deep glared at Manvi and held her hand again. Aarav pushed him away and everyone threatened to beat him.

Deep leaves the place and she had tears in her eyes. She hugs Aarav out of emotion and he is left bewildered. He finally caressed her head and consoled her "shh.. sab thik hai wo gaya aur tumhare sab dost hai na yahan"

She parts away remembering the situation. "Aap..yahan?"

"Haan darasal wo kuch papers sign karwane they" he said.

Sneha spoke "aap dono chalyie hamare Saath waha pe baithke discussion kijiye"

Everyone moved to the garden, Manvi sat on the bench and Aarav sat down beside her. Sneha got the first aid kit, Aarav asked her to go and enjoy, he will manage.

Aarav took out the cotton and asked "kar dun?"

She eyed him and nodded yes. He cleaned the blood from the side of her lips and she stared at him.

"Chalo ye toh ho gaya ab tum ye sign kardo" he said and took out papers from his bag.

She held them and signed it. Aarav took it back and kept it back inside his bag.

"Chalta hun aur haan yahan enjoy karne Aayi ho toh karo enjoy zindagi baar baar Khush hone ka mauka nahi deti Manvi.." Aarav said softly and left from there.

She smiled lightly hearing his words. Sneha eyed her and pulled her to the dance floor.

She hugged her from behind "thik hai na?"

Manvi said yes. She eyed at the exit door and Aarav had been speaking to one of the lecture of the university. He greeted her and then left the place. Sneha whispered in her ears "waise banda hai toh cute"

Manvi eyed at her, Vivek interupetted "itna cute hai toh shaadi karle usse"

Sneha laughed as he got jealous. "Kar leti lekin tumse ho gayi na.."

They began to have cute argument and Manvi smiled seeing them together.

The next day, they explored the city. Manvi moves to the end of the cliff and stands there looking at the view beneath her. Sneha and Vivek walked to her, she took a few steps forward and Sneha shouted "nahi.."

Manvi turned and eyed at her in confusion. Sneha scolded her "paagal hai kya tu? Gir jayegi aur aage jayegi toh..."

"main suicide nahi kar rahi hun" she said as she understood their concern. She walked a bit ahead and sat down. Sneha smiled a bit as she completely forgot Manvi is use to taking such risks.

he friends called them, Sneha said "chal mannu..."

"mujhe kuch der yahi baithna hai.. tum log chalo aage" she replied.

Sneha agreed and went with Vivek as Manvi assured her she will be fine.

Manvi closed her eyes and enjoyed the silence of the nature. She heard a voice "ek step aur aage gayi toh neeche jaogi"

She turned and it was Aarav. She was surprised to find him, she asked "Aap yahan?"

"kal ye ek paper rah gaya tha wahi sign karwane aaya hun" he replied but actually he was here to keep an eye on her. He doesn't want Deep to hurt her again and weaken her more before the next court hearing. The more she stays away from him and his family, it will be best for her to give statement in the court.

He said "zara sa balance gaya toh neeche.. wapas aao"

"kuch nahi hoga.. aur ye risk nahi lenge toh sukoon kaha se milega" she replied.

Aarav smiled "aur issi tarah agar dil aur deemag mein baitha darr, takleef hum nahi kahenge toh sukoon kaha se milega??" he asked leaving her complete silence.

She understood what he meant, she got up and was about to miss her balance. Aarav grabbed her hand on time and pulled her back. She eyed at him and he said "main umeed karta hun iss baar tum court mein sab sach kahogi aur unka maan rakhogi jo issi tarah tumhe sambhal rahe hai.. tumhe girne nahi de rahe hai"

He walked away leaving her in dilemma.

Sneha called her again and Manvi walked towards her. The trip came to an end in the evening, and they headed back towards home. Sneha and Vivek dropped Manvi to her house, she smiled and went back into the house.

The door was opened as it was time for Vineet to return home from office. Ruhana stepped out of the kitchen and her eyes fell on the bandage on her forehead. She moved to her with fast steps and kept her warm hand on her cheeks "mannu... ye chot kaise lagi?? Giri tum haan? Ya de..." she paused when Manvi eyed at her silently.

"wo insaan waha bhi pahuch gaya.. bahut ho gaya ab toh main" she was angered but Manvi told her Aarav saved her again. Even her friends supported her and threatened him. Ruhana smeared her head "jaake change karle.. tere papa aate honge phir hum saath mei khate hai kuch hmm.."

She nodded and went to her room.

After about 15 minutes Vineet returned from office. He saw Ruhana a bit worried, he quickly changed and asked her the reason for it. She informed him about Deep's cruel act. He didn't react much to it, she asked "tumhe pata hai?"

He shook his head positively "Aarav ka phone aaya tha usne bataya sab mujhe aur kaha hai hum react na kare"

Ruhana eyed at him "toh kya ab mannu apne doston ke saath kahi jaa bhi nahi sakti hai! Ye deep.." she had lost her patience now. If it was in her hand, she could have killed him for trying to again destroy her daughter's dignity.

"gussa mujhe bhi aa raha hai Ruu yahi Deep aur uske parivar waale chahte hai.. Manvi darr jaye aur kabhi kuch kah hi nahi paaye.." Vineet said.

She closed her eyes for a moment, she said "I want him and his family in jail Vineet!! Divorce ho jayega par phir koi aur ladki hogi.. saza toh hamari beti ko hi milegi na?"

"bharosa rakho Ruu.. sab thik hoga" he assured her they will be punished for their act.

"kaise? Aarav case chod dega.. wahi aakhiri umeed hai.. naya lawyer phirse wahi sab.." Ruhana was worried as the case would be stretched further.

"aur kya kar sakte hai hum?" he said helplessly.

Manvi heard their conversation and Aarav's words again echoed in her ears. 

Another date of the court hearing. RuVi and Manvi reached the court, they saw Deep and his family standing there with some kind of confidence in their eyes of again winning today's arguments. Ruhana eyed at Manvi and said "ghamand hai inhe iss baat ki.. tu apne darr ki wajah aaj bhi kuch nahi kah paayegi mannu.. phir kuch mahine nikal jayenge aur iss tarah thak harke hum case wapas le lenge.. phir main tere papa toh kya koi bhi tujhe uss narak se bahar nahi laa payega mannu"

She looked on at her mother with moist eyes. It's not that she doesn't want to speak the truth but she is unable to overcome that fear. Ruhana cupped her face "I know.. aasan nahi hai but namumkin bhi nahi hai! agar aaj tum chup rahi ho sach haar jayega aur jhooth jeet jayega.. faisla ab tumhare haath mein hmm" 

She shook her head positively and they headed into the courtroom.
