Deep had managed to grant bail for himself and his family. Yamini was frustrated with Manvi and her family for sending them to jail.

"Deep.. aaj court mein uss ladki ko itna jalil karna ki uske paas wapas aane ke alawa koi aur chara na bache!" Yamini said shamelessly.

"Aisa hi hoga Maa.. bas ek baar iss ghar mein aa jaye! Phir zinda nahi chodunga use.. Uski wajah se Arohi ki bhi shaadi toot gayi" Deep spoke with hatred.

They headed towards the court with the lawyer.

At Singhania House

Ruhana was getting ready for the day, she had heard about dowry cases being stressful and that it takes years to get justice. They had to take legal ways otherwise their daughter had to stay with Deep and his family which could be life-threatening for her and they can't afford it.

Vineet kept his hands on her shoulder and she glanced at him through the mirror. He said "janta hun bahut waqt lagega par yahi tarika hai Ruu.."

"Hmm.. uski fikar nahi hai mujhe Vineet bas apni beti ki fikar hai! Jitna main koshish karti hun meri mannu sab bhool jaye ye case.. Aarav ke sawal sab use baar baar wahi yaad dila deta hai" Ruhana said sadly.

"Main samajhta hun Ruu.. victims aur unke parivar waale bahut saalo tak ladai ladni padti hai par yeh jo hai hamari mannu ki bhalayi ke liye hi hai na.." Vineet replies.

Ruhana nodded in yes. She turns to him and gets emotional "aisi shaadi nahi chahi thi maine apni beti ki Vineet! Bhale hi tumhara parivar mere saath nahi tha par tum they.. Yahi umeed maine mannu ko di thi aur jab umeed tooti hai na toh insaan haar jaata hai.."

Vineet held her hand and caressed it lightly "janta hun lekin hum hai na hamari mannu ke saath.."

Ruhana shook her head in yes and they moved out of the room. Ruhana asked "Vineet Aarav ne abtak koi fees nahi li hai.. Tum please aaj ki hearing baad uski payment kar dena"

"Kar dunga Ruu.." He assured her.

There was a knock at the door, they looked in the direction and it was Aarav.

"Good morning.." he said with a smile.

"Morning" they reply.

Aarav enters inside and says "Aap ready hai.. Manvi?"

"Mannu.." Ruhana called her out.

Manvi comes out of the room, Aarav walks to her and glances at her. "Nervous?" he asked.

She nodded yes, he tended to think for a moment. "Manvi.. You shouldn't be nervous.. Kyuki tumhari yahi nervousness, darr ka fayda wo log uthaenge yaad rakho mujrim wo log hai tum nahi" he said.

He further gave her some instructions and even explained a few things to RuVi. "bas baki sab aap mujhpe chod diye..." he said.

Manvi was lost in her own thoughts, today again she has to face that devil family who had ruined her life. Ruhana held her hand tightly assuring her not to get frightened as they stood with her. Manvi looks at her mother and smiles lightly.

They stepped out of the house, Aarav said "Aap sab mere saath car mein chal sakte hai ek hi jagah jaana hai toh auto kyun lena?"

"Nahi Aarav wapas tumhe aate hue chodne mein pareshani hogi.. Tumhara ghar opposite direction mein hai na" Vineet replies

"Koi pareshani nahi hogi Sir.. please chalyie" Aarav insists.

They agreed and sat inside the car with him. Aarav headed off towards the court. He took out his phone and called his assistant "haa.. Main bas aadhe ghante mein court pahuch raha hun! Sab documents aur evidence ke saath mujhe bahar mil" he ended the call after a minute.

He stopped the car in front of the court and they came out of it. Aarav held the case file from his assistance and said "Car park karde"

He nodded and Aarav smiles "chalyie.."

It was the high court of Mumbai, they climbed the stairs and entered the courtroom. Aarav shows them the place and then heads to his place.

Manvi eyed the entrance, Deep and his family entered. She held the bench tightly remembering all the incidents. Ruhana held her hand "panic nahi hona mannu.. Hum hai yahan"

Manvi eyed her and nodded yes.

The judge arrives and everyone stands up in honour. He sits down and looks at the papers. "Proceed.." he ordered.

"Your honour! Mere client Mr. Deep aur unke parivar waalo ko jhoothe dowry case mein fasake unhe police lockup mein torture kiya gaya! Sachai toh ye hai mere client ki wife ka sambandh gayi gair logo ke saath tha! Jab mere client ko iska pata chala toh unhone unhe ghar se nikal diya.. Lekin wo wapas aayi aur parivar ko dhamaya wo unhe jhoothe case mein fasa dengi aur aisa hi hua.." the defended lawyer said leaving Manvi and her family shocked.

Aarav laughed and everyone stared at him. The judge eyed him and said "Mr. Malhotra.. Aap!"

Aarav gets up and apologises "Sorry your honour lekin main Mr. Singh ka same recorder har baar sunta hun! Isliye thodi hassi aa gayi mujhe"

"I can prove it Mr. Malhotra" he said.

"Main.. deep ke neighbour Mr. Jaideep ko bulana chahunga" Mr. Singh said.

The neighbour came to the witness box and he asked "Mr. Jaideep 15 aug ki shyam aap jab deep ke ghar gaye they to kya hua tha"

"ji.. Bhabhiji chai leke ayi thi aur mujhe giradi thi phir kaha room mein chalke main doh lun daag.. Aur main gaya phir bhabhiji bhi aa gayi aur mujhe apni bahoo mei le liya unhone" he said shamelessly.

Manvi had tears in her eyes hearing this. She glared at Deep who winked at her saying get ready for more humiliation.

Aarav stands up and cross-examines him "acha toh jab meri client ne aapko bahoo mei liya to aapne to unhe dhakka dia hoga!"

"haa... tab toh uske sarpe chot lagi thi" he replies.

Aarav shouts "ji nahi! chai aapne khud gurayi thi.. Jab manvi ne aapko room dikhaya aapne usko andar kheecha.. Zabardasti aap krne ki koshish kar rahe they!"

"nahi aisa nahi hua tha"

"aisa hi hua tha! Meri client ne aapki patni ko warn bhi kiya tha iss haadse ke baad.. Chahun toh abhi aapki patni ko court mei pesh kar sakta hun main" Aarav protested

Vineet smiled hearing him, before coming to the court Manvi had told him about some more incidents.

Mr Singh tries to say but Aarav provokes Rajdeep and confesses "haa.. Sach hai! Maine deep ke kehne pe kiya ye sab"

Aarav smiles "no more questions your honour.. Ye bas meri client ko badnaam karna chahte hai!"

"Your honour ye mere gawah ko provoke karke kuch bhi bulwa rahe hai!" Mr. Singh argued.

"Mujhe aapki tarah neeche girne ka shauk nahi hai mr. Singh! Main mere client ke pita Mr. Vineet Singhania ko bulana chahunga" Aarav said.

"Proceed," the judge said.

Vineet gets up and walks towards the witness box. Aarav asked "aap mujhe batayenge 16 June ko jab aap apni beti ke sasural pahuche toh aapne kya dekha?"

Vineet still can't forget that horrifying incident he had witnessed. He tells about Deep hitting his daughter with a belt.

"Wajah?"

"Wo chahta tha meri beti mujhse 5 lakh leke aaye.. Jo wo apne promotion ke liye dena chahta tha apne boss ko" Vineet replied.

"Your honour.. Mere client ke pita pehle hi unhe bahut dowry de chuke hai! Uske baad bhi inn logo ka lalach khatam nahi hua.." Aarav argued.

The argument continued for an hour and the judge gave another date. Mr. Singh smiled "Aarav.. Aise hi date pe date padti jayegi! Ye divorce milne mein saalo lag jayenge kyun apna waqt barbaad kar rahe ho?? Ye log raste pe aa jayenge"

Aarav glared at him and said "tumhe iski fikar karne ki zaroorat nahi hai.. Deep aur uske parivar ko saza main dilwake rahunga"

He walks off the court. Manvi was just shocked at the allegations Deep had put on her. She stared at him with anger, Aarav came to her and whispered in her ear "gussa aa raha hai na.. Lekin ise apne andar mat rakho! Jitna andar rakhogi khudko takleef dogi.. Ek thappad lagao zorke taaki logo ko pata chale galti kisiki thi!"

Manvi looked at him with teary eyes, he smiled at said "Do it.."

Deep saw her and came to her. He smiled "I am sorry andar jo bhi hua.. Lekin agar tum ye case nahi karti toh ye sab nahi hota... aage dekho kya kya karta hun main! Ye toh bas shuruwat hai! Itni si baat ka itna bada itna bada issue bana diya hai tumne" he said with no guilt in his eyes for his deeds.

Aarav looked into her eyes and held her hand. He made her slap him and stepped back. Manvi was just shocked at this, Deep fumed in anger. He was about to slap her but Aarav came in between.

"Koshish bhi mat karna Deep.. warna yahi maarunga tumhe aur phir yahi faisla ho jayega!" Aarav warned him.

Deep gets annoyed and leaves from there. Aarav goes and gets the car. RuVi and Manvi sat inside and they headed back home.
