Manvi picks up the broken glass and places it on her wrist. She was about to harm herself but RuVi enters the room. Ruhana rushes to her and throws away the piece of glass from her hand.

"nahi...jaungi main ghar paise mangne... let me die... let me die" she shouted aloud.

She rolls her eyes around. She could hear his threatening voice. She covers her ears and cries. "Nahi... nahi"

Ruhana held her face and calmed her down "mannu.. Shhh...! Deep yahan nahi hai bas main hun aur papa hai"

Vineet gets her medicine and a glass of water. "ye bacha.. Kha le"

She takes the medicine and drinks the water with trembling hands. She hugged her mother as she was frightened and held her arm tightly. Ruhana caressed her head and assured her "kuch nahi hoga ab.. Wo deep tujhe haath bhi nahi laga sakta.."

She looked at Vineet helplessly, how will they convince her to speak to Aarav about all this?

She closes her eyes and soon falls asleep under the medicine effect. Vineet walks out of the room with tears in his eyes.

Ruhana found her sleep, she places her head properly on the bed and covers herself with the blanket. She places a soft kiss on her forehead and recalls her own words.

"mannu.. Tere papa na bahut pyaar krte hai aur mujhe vishwas hai Deep bhi tujhse utna hi pyaar karega"

She moves out of the room and finds Vineet standing next to the window. She walks to him and placed her hand on his shoulder.

He turns and the guilt was clearly visible on his face "kya kiya maine Ruu. Apne haathon se apni beti unn logo ko saup di! Meri phool jaisi bachi ka kya haal kar diya hai.." he said with pain reflecting in his voice.

"himmat rakho Vineet.. Sab thik ho jayega" she said trying to stay strong.

"kuch thik nahi hoga Ruu.. Ye bahar ke ghav toh bhar jayenge lekin jo chot dil pe lagi hai na meri bachi ke wo kabhi thik nahi hogi! Maine khud apni beti ki zindagi kharab ki hai" he blamed himself for condition of his daughter.

Ruhana denies "nahi Vineet dhoka to humhe bhi diya na unn logo ne.. Aur tumne to usko uss narak se laake uski zindagi bachai hai na.."

The horrible sight doesn't let him sleep at night. "haa.. Pehle hi sab samajh jaata to ye haal bhi nahi hota meri beti ka kaise Aarav ko sach batayegi? Dekha na abhi..." he asked her.

"baat to karni hi hogi aur yahi rasta hai inn sabse bahar aane ka warna ye shaadi ka bojh zindagi bhar dard dega hamari mannu ko" Ruhana said.

He nodded yes.

A couple of days passed by, and they wanted to speak to Manvi but whenever they tried it only gave her a panic attack and they couldn't give her more pain.

Manvi was sitting near the window and watching kids playing outside. The doorbell rings, and she feared of Deep and his family again coming to take her back so she instantly runs to her room.

Vineet watched her go, he sighed deeply and went to open the door. He was surprised to find Aarav standing at the entrance.

"aapne apna irada badal diya hai kya?" he asked straightly

"nahi... wo hum mannu... i mean manvi se baat kar hi nahi paa rahe hai" Vineet said.

Aarav smiles at him, Vineet steps aside and Aarav enters inside. Ruhana comes out of the kitchen.

"maafi chahta hun aise bina bataye aa gaya" he apologized.

"koi baat nahi hai!" Vineet said.

"Aaravji... wo darasal" Ruhana spoke but Aarav interrupted.

"ji mat lagayie.. Sirf Aarav kahiye"

Ruhana smiles lightly "Aarav koshish ki lekin mannu.."

"main koshish karun?" he asked.

Ruhana exchanged a glance with Vineet.

"dekhiye aapko mujhpe bharosa karna hoga.. Tabhi aapki beti mujhpe bharosa kar payegi.. Haan agar aap kuch nahi krna chahte unn logo ke khilaf to main chala jaata hun.." Aarav spoke

"nahi nahi aisi baat nahi hai bas darr rahe hai pata nahi kaise react karegi tumhe dekhke mannu" Ruhana said.

"aap unse baat kijiye" Aarav replies. Ruhana nodded and went to Manvi's room.

She was sitting on the bed and just staring at the wall. Ruhana said "mannu.."

She rolled her eyes toward her "haa mumma"

"wo lawyer aaya hai.. Tujhse baat karna chahta hai" Ruhana said.

She gets up from the bed "Lawyer?" she questions.

"haa.. Jo hua sach sach bata dena tabhi tujhe uss rishte se azaadi milegi' Ruhana replies lightly patting her cheek.

"chal aajaa.." she held her hand and took her out of the room.

Aarav sees her and smiles gently. Ruhana makes her sit on the couch and Manvi held her arm telling her not to leave her alone.

Ruhana sits down beside her, Aarav said "hey.. Aarav Malhotra.. Aapke papa ne mujhe hire kiya hai aapko divorce dilwane mei"

She looked at him "chahti ho na jinhone aapko ye ghav diye.." pointing toward her burned hand "unhe saza mile aur jis insaan ne tumhe takleef di.. Tumhare maa papa ko bhi pareshan kia use bhi saza mile..." he asked softly

She recalls Deep's words. Aarav understands it "listen to me... tumhare papa ke rehte wo insaan kuch nahi kar sakta tumhare saath! Mat socho agar tumne kuch kaha to tumhare maa baap ka sar sharam se jhuk jayega ya samaaj unka barishkar kar dega... bas itna socho us aadmi ko saza deni hai jisne tumhe takleef di"

She closes her eyes for a moment. Aarav said "ya tum wapas waha jaana chahti ho? Phirse maar khana chahti ho?"

Vineet was about to say something but Ruhana stopped him with her eyes. She gets up from the couch and goes towards the room. Aarav eyed them seeking permission to follow. Ruhana nodded in yes and Aarav went to her room.

Aarav looked around the room and smiles seeing the pictures hanging on the wall. He removed one of the photo frames from the wall and moved closer to her. He forwards it in front of her, she glanced at it and it was her teenage picture with her parents.

"I guess tum 16 saal ki hongi isme.. Hai na?" he asked.

She eyed him silently, he made a face and asked "12 saal ki thi?"

"Hmm.. kitna gussa kar rahi ho isme zaroor tumhare papa ne daant lagayi hogi tumhe bahut bure hai na tumhare papa.." he assumes and she glared at him.

"Papa ne nahi daant lagayi thi aap aise hi kuch mat kahiye aur papa bure nahi hai" She replies.

Aarav smiles "dekha.. Tum chup thi toh main kuch bhi bol raha tha! Usme kitni sachai thi ye tum hi mujhe bata sakti thi ya tumhare papa.." he said meaningfully.

Manvi glanced at him, he kept the picture away and further added "isliye jabtak tum mujhe sach nahi bataogi main unn logo ko galat sabit nahi kar paunga.."

RuVi was standing at the door and listening to everything. They were surprised by the way he had explained her.

He said "jaldi nahi hai Manvi tum jitna waqt chahe le sakti ho lekin jitna waqt logi utna hi wo log tumhe hi nahi tumhare maa baap ko bhi pareshan karenge.."

She doesn't respond and he sighed deeply. He turns and takes a step ahead "rukiye.." she said.

He smiles lightly and turns back hiding his smile "ji.."

"Batati hun aapko sab.." she said and a ray of hope reflected in her parents' eyes.

Aarav takes out papers from the bag and grabs the stool from the side. He sits down and asked "batayie.. Main sun raha hun"

She was silent, she held the bedsheet tightly. Aarav said "chalo main aapse sawal karunga.. Aap bas jawab dena thik hai na?"

She nodded yes..

"Jab tum shaadi ke baad waha gayi thi.. Sabse pehle kya hua tha jo tumhe laga thik nahi tha" He quesions

"Mujhe nahi malum tha unn logo ne papa se 20 lakh ki maang ki hai.. Pata chala toh unhe confort kiya tha maine.. Phir unn logo ne kaha ki.." she tells him how they convinced her it was for her own benefit.

"Phir wo scooty ki booking ke liye kaha tha.. Aur maine nahi karwayi toh unhone beemar hone ka natak karke mujhe office nahi jaane diya phir koi mehmaan aaye main kaam karun toh office nahi jaa paayi.. aur meri job chali gayi" she further added with tears brimming down her eyes.

"Aapke papa ne bataya aapne apni savings sab ek sath withdraw ki thi.. Wajah?" he asked.

"Wo.. scooty ke paise.." she replies leaving Ruhana and Vineet shocked at their places.

Vineet sighed deeply, he closed his hand into a wist. Ruhana held his hand and said "shant raho Vineet.."

Aarav questions her about something which shivers her to the core.
