Ruhana walked to the hall and saw Manvi sitting next to the window looking outside at the kids who were playing. It has been a month since they brought her back from that hell but the charm and smile were lost. She didn't even step out of the house as she was scared of society, their tantrums, and fears of facing humiliation. The doctor had told us every girl suffers from anxiety, depression, and PTSD post-domestic violence thus Ruhana never forces her to do anything. 

Vineet visits a lawyer's office, sits down, and places the documents in front of him. The lawyer opens it and just reading the first few lines closes it. 

"I am sorry lekin main ye case nahi le sakta hun" he refused

"kyun?" he asked

"dahej ka mamla hai Sir.. court ki hearing se pehle hi aap apni complaint wapas le lenge aur apni beti ko bhej denge ghar toh main kyun apna samay barbaad karun?" he said

Vineet sighed deeply "aisa kuch nahi hoga" 

"Aap guarantee dete hai iss baat ki? badnaami aapke aur parivar ko sehni padegi aur aapki beti paise hi itna kuch seh chuki hai ya toh khudkhushi kar legi ya wapas laut jayegi" He said with his experience 

He takes a deep breath and gets up "agar aapki beti hoti toh kya aap bhi yahi karte? ladte nahi uske liye?" he questioned him. 

The lawyer looked at him silently. He leaves the office and closes his eyes helplessly. 

Deep's home

Arohi's inlaw had came for a visit. They placed everything on the table and folded their hands.

"yeh rishta yahi khatam Ankush ji" Hrydansh father said

Deep stared at his friend "yeh kya badtameezi hai aise kaise rishta tod sakte ho??  Agle mahine ki date fix ho chuki hai na"

Hrydansh said "tumhari biwi ne tumhare upar dowry aur domestic violence ka ilzam lagaya hai Deep!  Sagai mei bhi bhabhi nahi thi"

"wo sab jhooth hai! Sach toh yeh hai uska chakkar kahi aur chal raha hai isliye to mere bete ko chodke mayke chali gayi" Yamini said shedding tears. She was concerned for her daughter.

"Deep pehle tum bhabhi ko ghar le aao phir hum sochenge Arohi aur meri shaadi ka.." he said as he didn't wanted his family name to be ruined. He left with his family and Arohi fumed in anger.

She shouted "bhai aapki biwi ki wajah se mera rishta toot gaya!!  Aap abhi ke abhi unhe ghar leke aayie.."

Deep sighed deeply.

Singhania Niwas
Vineet returns home, he glanced at his daughter for a moment and then eyed Ruhana.

"Kisi lawyer se baat hui?" she asked.

"Hui lekin koi dowry case nahi lena chahta hai..." he replies as lawyers feel in society pressure girl's family will back off and in the end, it will be all worth effortless. Ruhana understands and hopes to find a genuine person. 

"Jald se jald dundho.. Mannu ko iss shaadi se bahar nikalna hai warna wo log phirse aa jayenge yahan tamasha karne" Ruhana said.

"Haan police waale ne bhi kaha hai lawyer jald se jald le aau taki court mein case file ho sake" Vineet replies.

Ruhana thought of having dinner in the restaurant today. She moves to Manvi and said "mannu.."

She turns her head and eyed her. "Aaj hum bahar khana khayenge teri favourite jagah! Jaake ready ho jaa" Ruhana said with a smile.

She denies "mumma.. Aap aur papa chale jao"

"Tere bina hum gaye kya kabhi bahar?" she asked.

"Lekin.." she protests.

"Rehende do Ruu.. zabardasti mat karo uska mann nahi hai toh hum nahi jayenge" Vineet said softly.

Ruhana held her hand asked "kyun darr rahi hai tu? Kya jo hua usme teri galti thi??"

She nods in no.. she cupped her face "darna toh unhe chahiye! Jinhone galat kiya.. Tumhara iss tarah ghar mein rehne se toh kuch thik nahi hoga na?" she explained.

"Par.. aapko aur papa ko toh sunna padega na? Aap dono ke galat faisle ne ye.." she said with teary eyes.

Vineet approaches and pats her head "usse humhe koi farak nahi padta hai mannu.. Please chalo" he said.

She agrees with their happiness and goes to the room to change. RuVi had a sigh of relief, Vineet said "Tum bhi change kar aao"

"Haa.." she walks towards the room.

After half an hour, they move out of the house. They walk towards the street end to catch an auto. The neighbors watch them from their windows, balcony, and while passing by.

Manvi held Ruhana's arm tightly and she keeps her hand on hers.. "Sab thik hai.." she assured her.

Vineet stops the auto and they sat inside. "Andheri le lena.." he said and the auto moved. Within half an hour they reached the place, they stepped out and walked into the restaurant.

Manvi looks around and admired the view. Ruhana asked her to order, Vineet smiles "usse kya puchna.. Set menu hai uska haina mannu?" he asked.

She shook her head yes. The waiter comes and takes the order. The food arrives in 20 minutes, they ate the food.

Just then Manvi's colleague saw her, she shouts "Manvi.."

She eyed her and it was Sneha. She gets up and comes to the table "kaisi hai yaar?? Shaadi ke baad toh tum gayab hi gayi ho? Job chod di.. Phone karo toh tumhare sasural waale phone utate they.."

Manvi gets silent, she glanced at her parents. She smiles at her lightly "bas... aise hi"

Sneha then rolled her eyes towards her parents "sorry maine aapko dekha nahi.. Kya kuch der ke liye main isko apne saath leke jaa sakti hun?" she asked.

"Haan beta le jao" Vineet agreed.

Sneha held her hand and takes her out of the restaurant. Ruhana was worried "Vineet... use kyun jaane diya?" she asked.

"Are dost hai uski purani.. Abhi uske liye uske liye important hai socializing karna.." He said.

He gets up and makes the payment at the counter. They walk out and saw Sneha and Manvi at the Chat corner.

Sneha tells her something and Manvi smiles a bit. "Chalo.. Thodi si muskurat toh aayi uske chehre par" Ruhana said admiring their daughter.

Sneha comes to them and said "Aunty uncle.. Hum movie dekhne jaaye? Main usko ghar wapas drop kar dungi"

Ruhana and Vineet thought for a moment. Ruhana agrees "haan le jao aur suno shaadi ki baat mat karna uske saamne..."

"Ji aunty.. Mujhe samajh aa gaya jab usne job chodi thi apni... aap pareshan na ho" Sneha assured her.

Ruhana hands over some money and her phone to Manvi "ye rakh.."

She nods and goes with Sneha to the nearby mall. RuVi heads back towards their home as Sneha was Manvi's childhood friend and very much trustworthy.

Sneha asked "bata kaunsi movie dekhegi?"

Manvi said "koi si bhi.."

Sneha goes to get the ticket while Manvi purchases the popcorn and drink. They enter the theatre and watch the film. Manvi whispers in her ear "Sneha main washroom jaake aati hun"

"Interval mein chali jaana" Sneha said.

"Nahi rok paungi" Manvi spoke. Sneha nods and Manvi walks out of the theatre. She goes to the washroom and someone pulls her inside locking the door. She panics and was about to scream but the person places his hand on her mouth and threats her "Shhh..."

Tears slips down her eyes as it was Deep. He was fuming in anger and said "meri behen ki shaadi tooti teri wajah se.. aur tu yahan pe... movie dekh rahi hai sharam nahi aati haan??"

He takes his hand off her mouth and she takes heavy breaths. A fear passed through her spine, and she realized her phone is in the theatre. He held entangled his fingers with hers and pushed them behind. She winched in pain "Aah... mumma.."

"Shh... chup chap mere saath ghar chalogi tum samjhi yahan koi tamasha nahi warna abhi yahan tumhare saath wo sab karunga jiske baad ghar jaane ke layak rahogi nahi" he threatens her. He opens the doors and drags her out from there.

She was trying to free her hand but his grip was tight.

Sneha thought "itna waqt kyun lag raha hai manvi ko"

She picks up the things and moves out. She comes to the washroom but found it empty. She gets worried and searches for her in the mall but couldn't find her anywhere.

"God.. kaha gayi ye?" she didn't know where to look for her. She comes to the basement and hears her loud scream.

She runs and shouts "mannu... mannu.."

She sees Deep pushing her inside the car. Sneha runs and screams "hey chodo meri dost ko"

"Biwi hai meri.." he shouted. Sneha glares at him, she eyed Manvi and her head was bleeding.

"Kameene.. Tune meri dost ko maara.." she shouted at him. They began to argue, Deep sees the security entering and he didn't want again to go to jail. He sits inside the car and dozes off.

Sneha looks around and sees Manvi trembling standing at the corner. Sneha approaches her and kept her hand lightly on her face. She jerks away and runs away from there. Sneha shouts "mannu rukkk.."

She follows her but in a second she disappears. Sneha immediately calls her parents and informs them about everything.

Manvi was running on the streets as she gets a PTSD attack. She imagines Deep following her, the car in front of her horned. The person pressed the break hard but it was too late. She gets hit by the car and lands on the road "aah.." losing her consciousness.

The man comes out and immediately keeps her hand on his lap "mam.. Mam.." he taps her cheek. He places his hand on her wrist to check her pulse and a sigh of relief she was still alive.

He looks around but couldn't find anyone around. He lifts her up in his arms and places her inside his car. He tucks the seatbelt and stares at her innocent face which had fear.

He goes to his side and dozes off towards the hospital. Within 15 minutes, he halts the car in front of the hospital and horns hard.

"Ye har dusre din aa jaata hai yahan pe!... lawyer hai ya masiya" the compounder said coming out of the hospital with the stretcher.

He steps out of the car and said "meri tareef baad mein kar lena pehle.. Inhe andar leke jao aur treatment karo sarpe chot aayi hai inke"

He lays her on the stretcher and sees some fresh marks on her body. He snaps the pictures on his phone and goes inside.
