A few days later, Manvi was sitting on the couch and a movie was playing on the television.

She was still recovering from her wounds, Ruhana comes out of the kitchen and places her hand on her shoulder. She gets scared for a moment "nahi"

Ruhana said "main hun mumma"

She sits down beside her and Manvi keeps her head on her lap. Ruhana caressed her head lightly, tears were dropping down her eyes.

She picks up the ointment and applies it to her wounds on the back. Manvi closed her eyed for a moment, these wounds might heal but will leave a mark on her body for a lifetime.

Ruhana kisses her head softly and hugs her. "sab thik ho jayega" she said

Ruhana hears some sounds from outside. It was the voice of Chintu, he seems to be shouting at anyone.

Manvi gets up, Ruhana looks at her and said "mannu room mein jaake aaram karo"

She nods and goes to her room. Ruhana calls Vineet, he answers her call in a second "haan"

"ghar aa jao... Deep aaya hai bahar" she spoke as she recognized his voice.

"aa raha hun" he said and ends the call.

Ruhana was concerned if Manvi sees him or talked to him, he will again play with her mind and manipulate her.

She goes out and sees Chintu grabbing Deep collar. "meri Di ke saath galat kiya hai aapne" he shouted.

All of the family members were present there. Ruhana said "Chintu chodo..."

He leaves him, Ruhana sighed deeply they came this time as Vineet was in office. It will be easier for them to talk.

Yamini folds her hands in front of her and said "namaste samdhanji... Ghar ki baat hai toh ghar mein baat kare?"

She was silent, it will take time for Vineet to return home. She asked "kya baat karni hai aapko?"

Deep comes forwards and starts his drama. He was shredding crocodile tears "Bahut badi galti ho gayi mujhse maine apni patni pe haath uthaya maaf kar dijiye mujhe"

Yamini said "uss din bahut dukhi tha mera bacha... Sab gussa biwi pe nikal diya! Lekin pyaar bhi toh ussise karta hai na..."

"pyaar karta toh iss tarah janwaro ki tarah bartaav nahi karta" Ruhana shouted.

"ek galti toh sabko maaf hoti hai na? Please mauka dijiye" Deep said.

The neighbors gather around the house.

"are bhai sasural waale khud lene aaye hai.. Bhej do wapas apne ghar"

Yamini asked "ye FIR karne se kya hoga? Bacho ki zindagi ka sawal hai hum baithke baat karte hai na"

"aap log please jayie" Ruhana said maintaining her calmness though they don't deserve such behaviour.

"Ruhana... Beti ke sasural waale hai acha nhi lagta yuh bahar rokke rakhna" Sharda said.

"aur inhone meri beti ke saath jo kiya woh sahi tha? She fired back.

"Ladki waale ho toh uss baat ka toh lihaj karlo..." one of the neighbours said.

Vineet arrives on his bike, parks it, and pushes away the neighbors. He glanced at everyone and asked "kya aap log tamasha dekhne aa jaate ho?"

"Tamasha toh tum log kar rahe ho! Ghar ka mamla hai toh ghar mein baat karo" the society secretary said.

Vineet sighed deeply, he gets inside the house. He eyed Ruhana and who signals Manvi is inside the room. He looks at the people, there is no point in creating any scene outside and he can't welcome them inside after what they have done to his daughter.

"Sasural waale khud aaye hai bahu ko lene.. Ye log toh andar bhi nahi jaane de rahe hai unhe" the lady told to another..

"Lagta hai inki beti ne hi kuch kiya hoga..."

Vineet sighed and asked them to enter inside. Yamini smirks as none parents can tolerate the humiliation of their daughter in society.

Everyone enters the house, Ruhana crosses her arms across her chest and asked "kya baat karni hai aap logo ko??"

"Jo hua ghar mein hua.. Usme teesre ko kyun beech mein laa rahe hai aap log? Inn sabse toh badnaam toh aapki beti hi hogi na" Yamini said.

Deep folds his hands in front of them and gets teary eyes "aap chahe toh mujhe belt se maar lijiye lekin meri patni ko wapas mere saath ghar bhej dijiye! Nahi raha paa raha hun main uske bina"

Arohi starts her drama "bhabhi hoti toh kitni fikar karti thi meri...bahut zyada miss karti hun main unhe! Aur jaise bartaav maine unke saath kiya bahut sharminda hun main" she looks down and pretends to be extremely guilty for her behaviour.

Manvi was standing at the door and listening to everything. Deep rolls his eyes and takes steps in the direction. He moves to her and she glanced at him. He held her hand and said "bahut takleef di hai maine tumhe.. Lekin main ab apni galti Yaminirna chahta hun! Ek mauka dedo please... hamare pyaar ke liye"

Tears slips down her eyes, he further added "tumne hi kaha tha na.. Tum mujhpe apne pita ko dekhti ho toh unke jaisa banna chahta hun main... mauka do mujhe sirf ek aakhiri mauka"

A few people were standing outside and listening to everything. "Are koi pati iss tarah maafi nahi mangta hai... Manvi chali jaa apne sasural"

"Sahi baat hai.. Aur thodi bahut ladai toh har miya biwi mein hoti hai! Ye nahi ki mayke aake baith jao..."

"Bhaisab... galti toh aapne bhi ki na?? sudhar rahe ho apni galti toh waise inhe bhi toh mauka do apni galti sudharne ka... bhej do Manvi ko sasural" the secretary said. Vineet sighed deeply, no doubt he had made a mistake and thus remains silent.

Everyone was building so much pressure on RuVi, Manvi was terrified. She doesn't know what is the real face of these people. How can she trust them again? She feared if she went with them won't be alive. She looks at her parents who were standing in complete silence. Deep held her and began to take her out.

Ruhana steps but Sharda stops her "Ruhana kyun apni beti ki zindagi khud barbad karna chahti ho?? Ye FIR sabse badnaami hogi aur kuch nahi milega..."

Manvi stops at the door, Deep shot a deadly glare at her "Manvi.. Itne din rah liya na apne mayke.. Ab apne ghar chalo" he stretched the word "chalo"

She takes steps down but stops when someone freed her hand. Vineet stared at Deep and gave him a hard push leaving him shocked.

"Tumhare iss emotional drame mein pura samaaj aa sakta hai.. Meri beti aa sakti hai par nahi aaunga samjhe..." he nearly shouts at him.

Ruhana held Manvi's hand and takes her into the house. She turns towards her in-laws and others who were witnessing the drama "ye nishan dekh rahe hai aap log meri beti ke chahre pe..." she pointed towards the marks

"Ye mamuli jhagde ki wajah se nahi hai... dahej ki wajah se hai! Chaar mahinon mein ye haal kar diya hai inn logo ne meri beti ka... aur aap log chahte hai hum sach jaanke bhi wapas uss narak mein marne ke liye bhej de isko?" she shouts.

Yamini said "aap iss tarah mujhse baat mat kijiye.."

"Are toh kaise baat karun aapse main?? Aap yahan maafi mangne aayi hai.. Itna bada dil hai aapka? really?? " she said in a sarcastic way.

Yamini cries, Ruhana smiles "Aur kijiye drama.. Janti hun main aapki beti ki shaadi na toot jaye isliye aa gayi aap Manvi ko lene.. Apni bachi kuchi ijzat bachane hai na?" she asked.

Here Vineet confronts Deep "nahi bhoola hun main wo nazara.. Aur shayad kabhi bhool bhi nahi paunga! Mujhse galti hui aur wo dubara nahi karunga main... tumpe bharosa karke apni beti ki zindagi barbaad aur nahi karni hai mujhe..."

"Ye galat kar rahe hai aap.. Patni hai wo meri haq hai mera uspar iss tarah aap humhe alag nahi kar sakte hai" Deep said.

"Tumse pehla haq mera hai uspe samjhe! Aur pati hone ka dawa kar rahe ho na?? Wo bhi nahi rahoge" Vineet warned him and pushed him out of the house area.

Vineet went inside and saw Ruhana confronting Yamini and Arohi. Ruhana said "hum dusron maa baap ki tarah nahi hai jo apni beti ko samjhota karne ke liye kahenge.. Aur samaaj ke darr se usko wapas bhej denge.. Aap log nikalyie yahan se"

"Maa baap ka shaadi ke baad beti pe adhikar nahi hota hai.." one of the society person spoke.

"Ye niyam sirf betiyon ke liye kyun hai? Sirf logo ke darr se badnaami ke darr se beti ko main jaanbujhke aag mein dhakail dun?? Nahi main aisa nahi kar sakta hun... iss baar main jhuka na toh meri beti ki arthi wapas aayegi iss ghar mein" he said with teary eyes.

Manvi was left in tears hearing her parents' words. Deep comes back and said "ye faisla aapki beti ko karne dete hai na?? Wo mere saath jayegi ya yahan rahegi"

Deep moves forward and grabs her hand tightly. He passed her a wicked smile that had always frightened her "chalogi na?? Baat manogi na meri?"

This triggers a past memory in her brain, He was again trying to play with her mentally.
